350 pounds. thats like $600 US. Only if you build it yourself will you be satisfied with the end results if you intend to play DayZ. If you pay someone to build a desktop $600 will get you barely past the menu screen unless you can find a laptop that can run it for that much?

Mine = $400. Its a toaster, but I get so much out of it its ridiculous. In DayZ I get avg. 40+FPS with lows in the 20's like most in large towns.. 1080p and can twitch stream/record gameplay if I want. Motherboard made of Potato - 775 socket ($40) Intel Q9650 3.0ghz CPU ($90) MSI Nvidia 550ti 1gb ($90) 8gb RAM ($50) Win 7 Enterprise 64-Bit ($0) OCZ Vertex4 SSD 128gb ($80) 1TB WD HDD ($40 - used) Hand me down case ($10) I play on my TV monitor.. that cost me no extra. Then my peripherals I paid extra for since I was serious about playing dayz with them. Razor Mamba mouse ($120) Astro A40 Headset w/mixamp ($240) Razor Nostromo keyboard/joystick ($60) Cheap Wireless Keyboard ($20) barely used for dayz Playing DayZ on my couch = Priceless. :D

Just looking at Svetlo or Novo while at the NEAF will make your FPS drop.. lol

DayZero was an amazing mod.. if you didnt like it, then yes you did not like PVP but thats the beauty of mods, no? You can pick and choose which mod, server, hive, and community best fits you. I personally found my home at BMRF.me and Z.nu's DayZero servers (in my humble opinion the BEST moderated and whitelised community to ever hit dayz). I must have logged well over 2,000 hours of play in less than 1 year. A really damn good year of gaming I must add.. (im not joking my clan [KOS] was huge, and always in some battle so I would frequently get sucked into 10+ hour gaming sessions) I still get PTSD at the NWAF :P

..I wouldnt get too worked up, this is from experimental build. Go play there if the sun is too bright for you, or wait until .47 makes it to stable sometime soon.

My only real experiences with no light nights were on patrol of some sort.. ;)

The entire NEAF will be made into a civilian airport area, as least thats what I understood from the devs.. So it makes sense that those barracks are new buildings, and not the old style, as I am sure they will spawn different loot tables. I wouldn't expect the NEAF to ever go back to a military installation in any way.. but having those buildings in the forest should make for some great encounters once they do start spawning loot ;)

Zeleno is known for being a hotbed of Zed activity.. and if you're there when other players are its even worse FPS wise. Zelenogorsk is bad, but in general for most players Novo is the worst area for FPS performance due to its size and cluster near other large towns..

Do you have several items inside of each other on your player? Like a medic box inside a protective case, etc.. this can cause serious issues. If not, try to play on a different character, server, hive, build, etc. If its across the board, try to fix the DayZ game files via steam (right click on dayz and well, I would have to go look to tell you exactly how but you can figure it out I think.. if not let me know)

There is both a rendering and a resolution setting, you must change the first to be able to adjust the second. That sounds horrible though. Ive been in situations like that where you try everything, nothing works.. then all of a sudden you find the solution. I hope you find it soon :)

It should be only slightly larger than a sawed off. But its quite a bit larger. Should be 2 rows of 4 like you state, like a double sawed off space wise.

I have too, several times.. its one of the best loot spawns in the game as far as single location goes. But every time that loot is all over the ground. This is over the past several days on experimental.. The OP above stated he did see the player actually setting items down.. but you would have to ask him about it. ;)

:D I feel like I just saw Bigfoot or something.. its nowhere close, but seeing that post on Reddit just made me crack up. And you're right, we need a lot more people like this on DayZ. I met a guy a while back, he is still around, name is Mugur.. and he was just for fun running loot errands for people. You could make a request and he would contact you within a day or 2 and then meet up with you to hand off the item. He was always cool about it and safe, and somehow the guy could always find what you needed. He got me some binoculars when those things were more rare than an empty experimental server right after a new update. There is another player, named NikoGT that frequents Reddit who just loots entire towns and places it all in a nice pile with lights around it for people to shop from. Its hilarious if you ever find one of his piles, you immediately think your gonna get sniped.. lol
