Wait, have people actually confirmed the kits as working now? They never were before. Because what happens is there is no damaged or badly damaged for weapons currently. Its Pristine or Ruined. But has that changed? I dont ever see anything but ruined or pristine on bodies Ive collected loot from.

Ballistics and weapon mechanics from Arma 2... or better. But at least that much of an improvement. and... thats it. All I want.

Albeit your post comes across quite arrogant, I see your point if you're not trying to be.. you do need a mic man, its sort of essential in dayz. If you can talk, you should have a mic. But you did the right thing.. fresh spawns should never care about dying unless its over and over again. Then it sucks, but if you get shot like that once just suck it up and respawn.. its easy when you're fresh. Its tough when you're alive for 80+ hours of gameplay and geared to the nines with stories for each thing you carry.

Not with range in the SA so far.. used to do that a lot in the mods. ..But in the SA all of my watching has been up close. A few have lived to see another day just based on their actions and my mood, but many I was forced to eradicate or engage due to their actions and my current way of playing the game. I float around between being a cold blooded killer and warm and fuzzy bambi loving hero. Mostly though its the blood thirsty Irish who is out there stalking Chernarus and if I spot you, I will stalk you for an hour or more if need be, until you make the perfect mistake and I can take you down with one shot. Or if you manage to spot me, I will rush you in a hail of bullets causing confusion and chaos and the loss of your life. So far, so good.. but my luck is bound to have a bad string in it. One day.. Ill get mine. :)

You may just be on another hive on stable, there are a few that are just not "connected" from what I remember.. Its too bad if you did lose your shit man, and that you dont play on exp.. you should check it out just for its recent patch that makes things quite a bit smoother, its feeling great. I rarely play on stable these days as those characters I have on it are like Gods to me with their kits and their lack of deaths and so many lives taken.. I feel like I should let them soak in the sun for a bit before risking their lives again, they earned it ;)

I have one.. if you have the MP5, I will give it to you if you let me watch you shoot it.. I want to hear it in person :) and the 9mm ammo is easy to find so you can just reload the mag after you waste some rounds showing me its stuff.. Im safe, dont mess around so if your cool too and dont want to kill me over something like this I can help you get a mag on Experimental. Unfortunately not anywhere else. :(

Thanks ;) ! As far as the SKS range though, Ive already sniped several Zeds at around 250-300m with single shot headshots.. so ??? :huh: Which leads me to where I killed those Zeds at that range.. I was in the woods just south of Green Mtn. sniping through the trees at Zeds out in the field in Zeleno, between 250-300m away. I had to take 2 shots on the first zed, but the other 3 were all single shot kills. Im looking for longer ranges and many more targets if I can find that? I have like I dont know, 300 rounds so I have some lead to kill ;) Does anyone know what the actual max range is for the SKS? Is it 1000m like the zeroing or less than that? I can always just give it a go, but I was wondering if anyone knew...

I would love to see the return of a true serial killer group of players like.. one that puts the fear into everyone, stays silent for a bit and then starts releasing videos of their kills that never gives any info away, just gives enough to let players know to be aware on certain servers or in certain towns.. something like that. The bodies could be stripped naked, and a Rasputin left on their corpses as a calling card that the killer had struck again for anyone who should stumble upon the body soon enough..

All naming aside, and not to try to hijack your post.. nice look tho, go for something like.. The Old Fields Strangler or something like that. ;) Anyhow, DayZ should have a few well known, public serial killers.. someone who blurs his name out in videos, never quit gives away his identity but is skilled enough to become a legend to fear and hunt. Hell, an entire group could do it acting as if they are one person.. it could grow like Fightclub. DayZ needs the light and the DARK to keep the intensity.. the west has grown far too friendly these days, and we could really use the fine tuned craftsmanship of a seriously demented serial killer working his magic in the land of Chernarus. Not me of course.. no, no.. Someone else. ;)

Only thing you should be able to do is remove the scope.. thats it. Im on for that idea, the others.. we dont need a foregrip for the longhorn, or any other form of modification. Other weapons for those things.. imo at least.

Excellent ideas guys, thanks to everyone so far! On your post, thats a good one, its where I mastered the M4 at long ranges.. Now that Petrol Station, that I could do with a Mosin no problem.. but an SKS? damn man, thats like a 750m+ shot from what I remember.. does the sks have that much range on it? I know it zeros to 1000m but does it really travel that far effectively? :)

So bullets stop there too.. I tried, and well it ended quite well for me.. not the other guy who Im sure is yelling hacker somewhere.. SORRY BUDDY! ..I wanted to test it out, it was an impulsive thought that I had little time to consider.. you came up to quickly. But now I know.. bullets stop right there at that doorway. Its magical. I'd bet they are sitting in mid air, matrix style too.. but it was dark, and I just now thought to look. Failed on the video too.. but go see for yourself. Spooky place Green Mtn. The only thing you missed is Rocket and Matt digitally inserted themselves into the game, much like the Matrix and are now apparently going around and just trolling everyone they meet in game. That is all.

Ive caught fish at least 4 times in my life with my bare hands.. trout, not catfish or some carp BS.. So why I cant at least try in DayZ to catch them is beyond me.. why is there no net to craft? I want to run through the fields trying to collect butterflies goddamnit!

Stay out of high pop servers that are non-official, in fact dont ever join a non-official server just as a rule, then dont join high pop servers and run to berezino thinking your gonna get into some action because hackers are thinking the exact same thing.
