Some towns appear to be more infested than others of the same size.. Please investigate Zelenogorsk, as I always encounter more Zeds there than usual it seems.

Fill up the list of confirms! .. then we can all get in a teamspeak and hopefully, everyone can be trusted to know the server/location and we can all join and meet up.. I think it should be in one of the large red warehouse buildings that are empty. Plenty to choose from.. one up North would be near impossible to attack if defended well.

Try to not pull off parkour in an early access alpha release.. ..of DayZ nonetheless.

The title explains the topic pretty well.. ..if the purpose of server hopping is to find that one item, than I can't really come up with too valid of an argument other than you should not exploit the game.. but thats another story. I'd like to point out that if the goal is to gear up, and get yourself ready for battle or survival you never need to server hop to do it. Below is a picture of what I gained from walking the "path of the warrior" starting from my spawn in Berezino (which I did not loot a single item from as its a deathtrap in there). This was on 2 servers total, 1 last night and 1 this morning. I played for a total of 2 hours making my way from Berezino through Elektro and Cherno to Balota, Pavlova Military Base and am currently at Green Mountain. Ive got all pristine gear, I mean like all pristine. I have a full kitted FNX, and everything needed to kit out an AKM sans magazines if I should find one. Im geared in everyway needed to save others, eat and survive and engage in battle. This was on full experimental servers, or near full.. So just go out and play, keep your head up so you dont get shot and just let others pass unless you really need to engage them while your on your path. Good luck and remember, Just Say No to Server Hopping.

Its the first step prior to barricading.. So yes and no, Zeds can still open doors if you have not barricaded it up. They are like Velociraptors in that sense.

I dont have much experience with the SKS, but want to learn each weapon in the game and its the last one for me to tackle.. Now I know my options, but what I dont know due to the map changing recently is where I should go to get some practice? I am open to shooting Zeds, bandits, clans, other players in general just as long as they are able to defend themselves and are not fresh spawns.. Is there a town that is just always full of Zeds and offers a long distance "target range" that someone can recommend? Is there a place, like Berezino, that is just always packed with idiots? Besides Berezino I guess.. I just hate that town now. Love it in DayZero. Hate it in Standalone. Is there a clan that wants to do a "Lone Survivor" thing and allow me to attack them solo so they can all learn to counter-snipe/defend themselves? I play fair and we can all be on the same TS if you want, Ill be in separate channel so the leader can hop back and forth to talk to me if needed.. I just want practice, dont care about dying and have some decent gear that anyone could make use of if not ruined in the process.. Hell, Ill even lay it on the ground if we know the server schedule so nothing gets ruined. I can just stay near it for ammo, supplies. Anyhow, the last thing I want to do is snipe unsuspecting people from 500m away who have no chance at all. Thats not practice. I can use Zeds for that. So if you know of where to find the Zeds, or the people looking to tussle.. I'd appreciate the help! :)

Its like a grid over the map, that defines everything we see for the AI and other mechanics. As it is now, there is not really Navmesh for the buildings and fencing and whatnot, so Zombies ignore them altogether, spawns ignore them and we go through walls, etc.. With Navmesh, there will be much less wall glitches, stuck players, and should be ZERO zeds clipping through walls and doors.

I have one and am interested in using it at longer ranges.. I tried things under 100m and its amazing for that. But I figured with it being a pistol that it would be limited.. Ill have to test some range with it to see :D
