Last night we killed a player that had some seriously duped gear, and an infinite mag in his M4. Must have been at least a hundred grenades on him. So I had my clanmate take the gear off, and we were planning to travel to Svetloyarsk on a low pop server to drop all of it inside the statue glitch so its gone forever no matter what. On the way, my clanmate decided to blow up a gas station and some walls with some of the nades. Harmless fun, with only 3 other people on the server. We blow up a few walls, and laugh. Then after a few minutes we are taking shots. I bound to cover, call out the shooter to my team, and guide them into to cover. Myself and my clanmate that has all the hacked gear are holed up inside a warehouse, with another clanmate outside overwatching. The initial shooter approaches the building and proceeds to say something like, "you duping &^%&^%'s come out and fight me you cowards.. all I have is a .22. Dont be *^*&(^'s.." blah blah blah. I would just say fuck if that was his wording, it was not. It was much worse. So in the end we killed him, took sniper fire from his friend overwatching for him, all survived and the server randomly reset mere seconds after we killed the guy. My issue, and why I even bring this up is this: Some players are trying to approach the game with honor, and integrity. But others are so ignorant as to believe that anyone, with questionable gear must be hacking or duping. I mean this guy only saw us throw 3 grenades max. 3. Thats not a sign of duping when its 3 players, and the nades were thrown a kilometer and 5 minutes apart. Why players dont attempt to talk or educate themselves before things like this its beyond me. That guy would have been accepted with open arms if he said he hates dupers and wanted to kill us for duping. If we could have responded, he would have known our plan and probably helped. But he died. Needlessly. I lost my pants to sniper fire. We ditched the gear, and its gone forever..and that player will never know that we were not duping, but the opposite. This is only an example, and quite an extreme one. I bring it up because Ive had players yell and scream at me over sidechat.. intent on killing me no matter what, because I must be a hacker. After all... I had an M4. :|

Why would anyone want to discuss this subject while the game is in such an early state? ..its like saying you dont want base building because there is already a ton of houses.

Look you're the one being a defensive... well, you know what you're being. Im just having a conversation here, with the OP.. not with you. But since you want to talk, aggressively. Ill bite. So you've logged 1,000's of hours and still enjoy PvE right? How many of those hours were played alone on a server with just yourself? Meaning no chance of PvP.. How many hours? (If you werent so damn defensive you would learn quickly that we pretty much are on the same page: PvE is an important aspect and makes the game what it is, but I also believe the game is almost entirely about PvP.) My point of asking the OP my specific question is clear, and it had nothing to do with you. On your own, out of left fucking field you decided that you needed to call me out and get all forum warrior-ie on me, because Im guessing for some internal reason you though I was talking to you the whole time? In any event, get over it.. its a game, and my opinion.. I really dont know what your point here is.

Log 1,000's of hours in the game (between the SA and the mods), and tell me you still have fun with the PvE.. Then we can talk. :)

Yes, and read the dev hub.. its up top, click it and read the updates from the past 6 months to get caught up. ;) You cannot. Persistence is not on stable build yet, outside of a few official servers that are broken in every sense of the word. It will be on the next patch, but still may not be fully global at that point.. meaning server owners may still not have persistence. But its the plan for it to go across all hives on the 0.49 patch coming soon. :)

Its literally a respawn shooter. Massive map, sure. No gear on respawn true. But its a shooter, that has respawn. COD would be the same game, if it had Zombies on one massive map, slightly more players and you started with no gear and had to find it first. The only reason people get confused is because they play the game wrong. Its not about the Zombies, its all about the other players.

Negativity.I mean, it happens every day all the time. The only way to combat it is to take charge of your own actions and act differently, in effect, changing the world one action at a time. Now in DayZ.. I look at it differently. See DayZ is my vent. I take out things in game, that I cannot deal with properly in real life. Like being mad at the wife, or stressed about work.. sometimes killing other players, and acting like a dick in game, makes me feel better in real life due to the stress relief it brings me. Ive read articles about the subject, regarding players in GTA and how they do things they would never do in real life and it actually benefits them by helping them to deal with pent up aggressions and issues. Like take me, Im a great example of cause and effect in dayz. Yesterday, I spent a great deal of effort and time baiting a gentleman out of the statue in Svetlo so that we could quite simply kill him. He was a tough nut to crack, but in the end I completely gained his trust and yes, we killed him.. twice in fact. He came back because he believed me so much. I felt bad, I admit it.. at one point I genuinely said to my team, "no, dont shoot him" and I meant it. But he died, twice, and we really had no need to kill him. Now fast forward about 30 minutes. Im fully geared, I mean grenades, cases, everything. All legit gear, no hacks, dupes, nothing. All looted properly or taken off of dead players. I die a senseless death backing up my teammate. I made a huge mistake. Lost everything. Instant Karma. But that is the beauty of DayZ. I kill, I die. Its that tension created in those moments that make this game fun to play. And without the devious acts, and treachery it just would not be as interesting. I mean what other game, can you spend an hour tricking someone into being killed by you? Not any that I can think of right now. But with all of that said, it just feels wrong to do things like that too often. I hate the feeling I have afterwords at times. Some times its cathartic, like I said above.. but others it just feels like you beat someone up and you werent even mad at them or interested in what they had. In real life I could never do that, and in dayz I cant bring myself to do it very often at all. Now as far as it goes, regarding attitudes towards the staff of the game, and the community in general. I think if most of the people who did those things, practiced what I just preached in game.. they may find themselves less inclined to become an internet warrior spouting hatred and non-sense across the forums of Reddit and DayZ. :)

No, bandicam works amazingly for me man.. I highly recommend it to my friends who dont have shadowplay. Try adjusting the settings, mainly the video recording settings. You probably have something set up that is conflicting with your PC. Also, do you have 2 hard drives/SSD? If so, record to the drive that dayz is NOT located on.

That player, simply cannot handle either the game, his herb, or the combination of the two. Dont blame the herb, she didnt do nothing to anybody. Also, its the only illegal drug out there that our bodies seem designed to process. Look it up, how the body processes and is affected by THC. Its interesting stuff. It will make you a Belieber.

They all were infected and the real apocalypse has already begun. Also, search Reddit. People went, they spoke of it, but none were allowed to take pics or video so its only descriptions.. some of which were fake. Everything so far is conjecture and rumor without any solid proof.

1. there are plans to do more work on the existing cities once the newer ones are finished. 2. Most of the old towns have been worked over to some extent. 3. You probably wont ever see what you want to as far as the pics you provided. Its a performance issue, and lately they already said that the buildings and interiors will be reduced in details to help aid in performance during the change over in the rendering engine. 4. Go to Zelenogorsk.. that town is done pretty well as far as being overgrown and run down. One of my favorite for atmosphere.

I did this on experimental last week.. to much success. Its almost silenced, the punch it packs is so small that most players, when shot at a distance, do NOTHING.. they just spin around looking for what is hitting them. By the time they realize they are being shot.. its over. I went toe to toe several times with people who had SKS or AK weapons and I won each time, and was only killed once. Which I promptly made it back to the NWAF, starving to death as I got there to recover all of my gear.. as if I never died at all. #SPORTERFTW
