That was damn close.. I am just Northwest of the NWAF facing west in game towards the lone house in the woods.. its my camp in dayzero. Hueys, Vehicles, tents.. oh my. ;) Great guess man.. it was too hard, but I didnt want to go back for another screenshot.

All you have to do is shift-tab in game to see Steam accounts, and usually they are close if not the same as forum names. Ive played with several forum members but have yet to actually randomly meet them in game.. Ive met many by metagaming and sending them PM's but no random encounters yet. I did meet some really nice guy last night in Experimental, from Brazil. Our language barrier was a bit much, but I was able to at least tell him to head to the Escuela! and he knew exactly what I meant.. took me 5 minutes to find out if he needed the saline I had in my hands, finally he sees the saline and says, "oh hey man, I need that.. good good." (He spoke much better english than I did portuguese). Im fairly certain after sending him a friend request post server restart, and him logging off, that he is a forum member here.. His clan at least posts from time to time, I recognize the tag and a few names. In any event, its fun to not KOS from time even if you are a cold blooded bandit like me ;)

Last night, IRL I dropped my last "bowl" down into the water inside my..well.. B) I ended up staring at it for quite some time, floating there.. So sad. :(

Engaging Zeds with their firearms when they have an effective melee. Attempting to shoot through trees. Checking the top of the ATC. Carrying Mountain Backpack with full slots, with 95% food. Running across the airstrip at the NWAF with no back-up or scouts. Server hopping the Vybor Military base, and then thinking that if they loot fast.. it will be safer. (I kill so many lately here its insane.. so thank you, for being so well geared and so totally unobservant. *I shit you not, one clan was blasting Metallica over sidechat. I killed all of them.)

Between belly button and heart area gets me a hit every time. Now if Im trying for headshots, I aim for the neck where it ends at the shirtline to the chin. Basically, aim low.

I dont ever use flashlights so its a no brainer each time I spawn in.. Sometimes I save the battery for one of the many things that need it, but often even that gets dropped for things that open cans, and more useful items. With the way night is now (no more pitch black) I never need lights, and ALWAYS run my gamma/brightness on default. I do love setting off flares and chemlights tho.. ..like really love it.

I find that once you are not a fresh spawn.. you can quite simply ignore the weather effects. Just keep yourself in HEALTHY status and it doesnt matter.. It really doesnt. Btw, has anyone noticed the visible shaking your player does? His hands shake a bit when you are cold.. rifle sway seems the same though.

Thats boo worthy. I found that helmets, weapons, pretty much any loot will still be right where you dropped after restart. But that backpack news is depressing.. :(

The problem is.. at no point does your story include a hacker. you do know this game has bugs and is in early alpha, right? Right?
