Thats just low betraying their trust like that. I would recommend you vent your frustration with them elsewhere. Its just an empty dead end, if you keep heading down revenge road.

We have been playing heavily on the recent experimental build.. but that is only temporary. It sounds like on wednesday we will have .51 pushed to stable so by then all should be back to normal with our server. As of right now, a lot of people who play on it are playing in the experimental build with the trucks being added in.

Ive found a bunch of things like that on our server lately.. everyone has a little corner of it they have made their home, and its really cool. Our home is far from the coast, so that way no fresh spawns or new additions get murdered by us on accident. We get in constant gunfights. :)

Make a report. A forum post in general discussion is a good place for advice, but not the best for getting issues fixed. Besides that, the best way to avoid this is kill every zed that aggros on you if you intend to stay anywhere near that area. If not, run.. far, far away..

Do you have someone to play with to confirm if there is loot on the ground that YOU are not seeing? Could be important to find out. ;)

First, you do not want to discuss dupes and the like. Report them, but posting about them is usually a waste of time as the thread gets locked/deleted. Second, there is a bug with gear right now in exp especially that causes things to look like that are duped or doubled when in reality one of them disappears if you pick the other up.. eventually. My clan has had anything from pants to packs to guns look like they are on the ground as well as on us.. but if someone picks them up, they either vanish from the other guy, or eventually vanish from both or one of them. Meaning we have never once seen an item get duped on accident that could be used simultaneously by 2 players at once. One way or another it is not usable or it glitches back into 1 item. Third, duping is still a thing. Its rather obvious when you see some of the reddit posts that are out there from these current builds. Private shards are a nightmare for duping. Im glad my clanmates are all honest guys that feel the same way I do about cheating/duping/glitching.. because it just drives me nuts people do these things on purpose. It makes like no sense at all. Like playing basketball with a football just because.. when the basketball is right there.

Im being honest here, not trolling.. the title poses a question, yet the body of the post tells a story and has only rhetorical questions at best. I dont know what to do with this post except maybe tell a story of my own? Or like agree that looting up fresh is the name of the game.. having fun while you play at all times is key. Respawning is fun, and needing all that loot is just something that happens because you're not dying lately and have nothing else to besides match your clothing and get everything in pristine condition. But again, Im referenced to the title of the post which is what even brought me here... so I guess I have to tell about my first disappointing moment. Everything in game I can accept. But the first time I was really disappointed in dayz was during an internet outage/server downtime thing that happened a long time ago.. I go to log in, all excited to get back into Chernarus.. was still fairly new at this point. And no servers. Nothing. I hit the forums to find out they are all down. It was like almost 24 hours straight and I was just going insane from the wait, having the time off work with nothing else to do but game.. it was tragic. Besides that.. I actually have been entertained and laughed during bug deaths, hacker attacks, losing all my gear for no reason at all, deaths of all types, and anything else in game.

Again, this tent hides very well. Our clan consistently could not find it, after being there several times, and standing 10m from it. So that speaks volumes on how hard they are to see if placed well. The only reason to have a tent like this, is so that you can develop a camp.. which is where the game eventually takes you if you dont die, a car, a helicopter, a home base, clans to war against to keep your gear, etc.. It eventually becomes a very rich and deep world, dayz. But you have to develop the lifespans long enough to build and gather these things, and you have to be okay with the fact that in one day.. you may lose it all. I welcome all of the parts of the mods that are still missing. Id love to see a clan hunting camps in their biplane, calling out locations to their teammates on the ground driving atv's, V3S's, and riding bikes. The camp gets stripped of all gear, and the unusable vehicles and tents get blown up with 1 single satchel charge. Those were the days, and I welcome them again.. one day. :) The best part of this game, even if you dont agree is options. If you take some away, or limit them too much.. then those that would enjoy gathering, and maintaining a helicopter or something else that requires a ton of effort wont be able to enjoy that part of the game like they should be able to. If you dont like tents, the nice part is the devs have already brought up several other options for you. Dont think that just because tents will be rare, or clan driven, or OP, or anything negative.. think of it as an option. Thats all it is. Its not like a player can carry a tents worth of gear on their back.. so if you're not near their camp its of no consequence to you how much gear they are hoarding. Eventually they die, the gear gets used, and lost. Circle of life. You all will see in time.. this whole thing will end up great.

Go to documents, open the dayz config folder with notepad that looks similar to: Irish.DayZProfile. Scroll near the bottom, look for the IP listing and server name of last server you were logged into. Profit.

Its a backpack It does not take up slots, its a pack itself. Found in Tent City @ NWAF. This is the LARGE tent. There is also small and medium tents. It places in approx. 5.6 seconds, and takes up roughly 8 sq. feet. (<--no I dont know.. Im just guessing. Weird questions though.. odd to me at least.) :P Each rifle takes up between 18-21 slots.. meaning it can hold over 10 rifles inside of it, with extra space left over. The windows open and close as well as the doorway. This does not work currently. We had issues scrolling to the bottom of the tent. We could only place gear in the top 90 something slots, only 1 member had the option to scroll down on it (for some reason, not the person who pitched it either) so any gear placed in the bottom could only be moved by him.. so we did not really use it. Everything is basically persistent on the ground anyhow.. except gas containers and I think clothing set down alone on the ground will despawn. But guns stay through restarts, backpacks stay.. and the tent stays up no problem. Had it for almost a full day now, pitched and holding up camp for us. :)

Clearly you need to stop. Please. You have no idea what you are even doing.. Seriously. Did I say stand in the damned window and let someone snipe you? Nope. Now go back and CAREFULLY read what I wrote.. see how the context is dont stop at any point in a high level area? And no, Ive never, ever been shot through a window.. because that would be tragically unobservant of me. I have far too many hours in this game and its early mods to make such a simple mistake.

Ill add one Ive been telling friends for a while now.. DO NOT CROUCH INSIDE BUILDINGS (@military bases) EVER.. Go find someplace safe to eat, check gear, etc.. inside a high threat area, is not the place for it. You never know who watched you go inside.. By crouching you slow yourself down, including your reactions. If you are standing, when a player enters and raises his weapon at you.. you simply sidestep while pulling yours out. Usually he misses at that point.. but if you're crouched.. you're probably dead already.
