Try to find a private hive server, that you can call home. Play there, only. You will start to learn the way things flow on the map, how people act in certain areas, where its somewhat safe.. etc. Good luck! Remember, dont let dying get you down. Only let it bother you if there was nothing to be learned or gained from it in any way. The more you learn, the better you get. Practice always makes as close to perfect as you would like to get. :)

People.. you really dont need AK's and such. You really dont. I highly recommend you find a new focus in game, rather than the mil base loot cycle of repetitiveness. I find the pump shotgun, sporter, and derringer get me just as many kills if not more than any assault rifle in dayz.

All you have to do is wait. Watch the door, from a bush. Make sure you have enough ammo.. You'll get your mags much faster that way, vs. server hopping. ;)

Seems to be more weapons, more lose ammo, and less mags. More axes in .52 than .51. More netting again, rather than 1 or 2 per server start. Food is abundant. Loot still goes crazy, just like before. Persistence still requires some work before its working reasonably.

In short, your CPU. The average CPU mark for it is 6032. Thats on the low end. Besides that, there are a million and one things to do that can help.. almost. Start with your settings, invest time in researching what is best.. and you'll find the help out there is almost limitless for dayz and graphics settings. From there, you should consider upgrading a few things if you need too. What Ive noticed REALLY helps a ton is an SSD that is as fast as can be.. 8gb ram or higher is always nice, too much is not necessary but a decent amount will help you with some things, and it really is all about that CPU. If its a good fast CPU, then you will get higher FPS. Plain and simple. Check out this site to see how your CPU stacks up to others.. you may find an upgrade on this list that would double your processing power, almost double your clock speed and would hopefully not cost you too much to do in the end. https://www.cpubenchmark.net/high_end_cpus.html I just recently purchased a 4790k. That was an upgrade from a Q9650. I went from 20-30fps average in most areas, higher in woods/small towns at times.. To 50-60 fps average, higher at times in small towns/woods. Thats average. Until the game gets optimized, I will still like everyone else get really low frames in large cities at times. Sometimes Im as high as 50-60 fps in places like Novo, Cherno, Elektro. But its rare. Typical is hovering around 25-30 in large cities with massive rendering strains.

Actually, the entire build is based around this game making it to consoles, where BIS will make the majority of their future profits from DayZ. We are simply testers during the build phase for a console game. If you think Im wrong, wait for the UI changes and ask yourself why each and every addition that has to do with engine and rendering.. would any of that have been done if not for needing to do it for the consoles architecture? Also, in case you answered yes.. they already stated quite clearly this is why they did these things. So I would presume after Sony has their timed exclusive contract.. Microsoft will get their time too. From a business standpoint this entire thing, the whole thing is about expanding and improving BIS and moving them into the future. That means making as many profits as possible while maintaining their core values. Expect good things from them in the future. Very good things..

Actually someone brought up maybe bikes could be non-persistent, so they respawn randomly around the map, houses, etc.. Which would be in between, and would be a great idea in my opinion. See, its a discussion.. meaning add to it. ;) (just saying I dont like this idea is not a discussion.. at all.)

I had same issue.. changed the default controls I believe or I reset my controls. I had to go change my key bindings and then I was fine. Jumped the shit out of my new blue V3S that I found.. if you hit the fences just right at full speed, you rocket into the air like a boss :)

The dev team can, but until then everything else is useless conjecture.. Maybe wait for it to make it in game :)
