When I played the mods, the one thing I noticed was that I could change one of my video settings, I think rendering to above 1080p and even though my monitor at that time was 900p, suddenly when I did that the game ran smoother, looked better, and had higher FPS. I could even see the pixels change from 900p to above 1080p. It blew my mind, but it worked so I left it and never really questioned it after that. When I upgraded my monitor to a 1080p native, the game looked worse and ran worse. I went through hell trying to remember what I did, and in the end.. switched back to my old monitor, lol. But now I have a non-potato rig, great monitor, and have a better grasp on the settings. Im gonna do some testing for science to see what I can find in regards to this.

He was speed hacking and using ESP and you killed him twice? Does anyone else think to themselves, now how could a hacker with ESP be THAT bad? :| ..It could be desync you know. Seems odd that someone would use only the speedhack and esp and allow themselves to get killed by the same guy twice in one night. The hacks nowdays, most if not all have other features that would allow him to control your actions.. why he didnt do that, in the end, is beyond me. So I would first guess desync unless it was completely clear what he was doing. Let us know more please. BTW, Server #2 already broke the top 1,000. From 1,698 to 958 in a few days. :)

Before I scroll down, I appreciate the clarity Big Daddy.. btw, I used to play a hell of a lot of Socom with a Big Daddy back in the day in a clan called The Beer Clan [bER]. Anyhow, what Pun is pointing out, and now we know what happened is only the logging. The shooting thing, we all know it happens and knowing Pun I know he doesnt care about that. The logging out though, especially combat logging is something we all should frown heavily upon. We all understand crashes, but you have to understand how it looked on our end. I hope you can, and not hold it against us. What we have done, several times in your position is LOG right back in.. usually to a YOU ARE DEAD screen. But we still do it, for the sake of not looking like combat loggers and also for just doing whats right for the game. Now if you have to log out, and absolutely cant come back.. so be it, but just drop a line here if you care, saying why it had to happen like that. People will understand, and no one has to look like an ass or apologize for accusations that are in the end, false. So all is well that ends well.. just understand why Pun is saying what he is saying, thats all.

Once you do break free.. play Marco Polo with your captors. See how long it takes the [Zap] clan to give up looking for you.. its fun. :P

I didnt quite look at it like that.. I mean, unless it was over 2-4 days, then I dont see the point in quitting so quickly, blaming a dayz addiction and then you know.. having withdrawals and posting here about it. Good point. :|

How do I balance things? Well, good question. I own my own business, can work mostly from home, and while doing that I typically have my 14 month old son to take care of also. I am married, dont get days off ever, and usually sleep 4-5 hours per night most days, then I finally hit a wall and sleep about 10 straight hours to catch up. My life is so damned full its silly. But I balance it all. Not well, that is for damn sure.. but I still juggle like a madman attempting to keep all of my balls in the air at once. I spend far too much time in front of the monitor and far too less time in front of the sun.. as in outside, with fresh air. But I grew up outdoors, never played much video games until around my 20's. So the way I look at it is, I got a late start on being a gamer and because of that I was offered the chance to get my life going before I got too caught up wasting it. ;) Here is a typical balanced day for me: 1. Go to bed around 12am-3am 2. Wake up around 4am-5am to help my Son, usually go back to bed but not always, some times I stay up and thats how my day starts 3. Get up by 8am at the latest with my son, who by now is awake no matter what 4. Coffee, Coffee, and then a smoke 5. Turn on PC, turn on TV, put on disney movies for my Son after feeding him and playing with him for 1-2 hours 6. go to work, while multitasking the internet checking dayz, news, etc. 7. nap time for my son comes about 3-4 hours after he gets up, that is usually when I do one of 2 things: turn on dayz, clean the house (house cleaning only 1 day per week tops) 8. Play dayz after getting work done for roughly 1-4 hours, while multitasking with work, answering phone, etc.. A ton of logging out, and sitting in outhouses/bushes happens during this time while playing dayz 9. I finally eat at some point, after skipping breakfast and lunch typically.. My eating habits are fucked from being too busy and not prioritizing myself over my wants 10. watch hockey if a flyers game is on 11. Wife gets home, spend time with her. Watch shows, talk, etc. 12. Dayz goes back on later in the night, sometimes.. like once a month I get lucky with the wife and dayz stays off until 11pm or midnight 13. play dayz, edit videos, jerkoff, go to bed. Thats it in a nutshell, a typical dayz day. As you can see, balance is impossible. ;)
