My problem on the exp servers is not loot, as I just run to a town that no one has been to. Takes about 20 mins tops to get to any outlying town on the map.. My problem is not finding an axe and being overrun or just getting bored of running in circles around towns trying to ditch the zeds that keep spawning aggro out of nowhere even when I prone crawl around town. Even sitting still inside a house I had a zed aggro on me.. After a while I just get bored of ditching zeds over and over, if I dont find a nice melee weapon to kill them with (as a gun will just make wave after wave appear in most cases) then I just basically get careless/bored and end up being killed by zeds or bleeding out from one hit and a lack of rags. Also: DAT DYSNC

It was probably a guy carrying 2 primaries, one in hand and one on back.. I won't say why on one of the reasons, because it has to do with an exploit of sorts, but that may explain it. Also aside from the exploitish factor, he may have just dropped while eating or something and did not realize it.

That makes zero sense buddy... I play all sorts of games also and assuming otherwise is just awesome on your part.

The NWAF has always been a KOS zone (has nothing to do with COD, and the only people who say that are, well COD players or console jockeys)... even if there is only 1 other player on I know to keep my guard up there. You sir were just taught a valuable lesson, respect the NWAF. Never run across the tarmac.. always flank in from the sides or North/South. In the future you can expect the same results if you head up there and do not watch your surroundings.

I am wondering if I would see an increase in performance on my PC from a dual core 3.0ghz to a quad core 3.0ghz? From what I have gathered I will only see gains if Dayz SA is multi-thread capable and not single thread only.. ? Does anyone know the answer to this.. :huh:

I find them all the time.. On bodies. So they cant be that rare.. also, there is a loot spot I bet you're overlooking that everytime I check it, it has 2-4 weapon attachments of varying types. But I have yet to see an LRS in quite a while at any loot spot.

Fact: on any given weeknight, there are about 12-20 full servers total. The majority of the rest have between 1-9 players on them. I think that says a lot about how people play Dayz.. ..they prefer to feel safe and cozy with tons of loot.

Have you been spending so much time on the forums that you have not even played lately? Glitched zombies - yes they are fixing this, have said many times its the current thing being worked on no hit detection resulting in every item being ruined from magic bullets - this does not happen to me anymore. I shoot head, head is damaged.. all else is fine. items take 2 minutes to appear when you move them on servers with more than 20 people - wut? I dont see this, ever. ammo disappearing - Nope, never had that happen cant load SKS or mosin from painting glitch - you can load the mosin just fine.. its the sks on exp that wont load after painting.

It makes perfect sense for the people who know what I am talking about. (<--not trying to be cheeky :blush: ) Thats why I stated in the first line its about my PC, not servers or hosting. :)

That is somewhat incorrect from what I have learned, Guppy.. a GPU upgrade is not as good for Arma series games as a CPU upgrade, being as its so heavy on CPU and light on GPU usage. I have a 550ti and the game looks beautiful @ 50-60+fps. Its the computing Im concerned about as my PC's bottleneck is most certainly my CPU - Core2Duo 3.0ghz Besides what I really want to know is if this game is a multi-thread application or single. ;)

I think the best thing to do is learn from your mistakes, log out in a more secure location and wait at least 1 min before you log out. Just sit there for 1 min first at least. Now if you have to AFK or log out quickly, then you just deal with those consequences when you get back. I have to do it all the time for my baby or the phone or front door, so I can more than understand. Ive had my losses on the mods many times from it.
