Do you mean you were laughing AT this post or with it? Because if you thought, and it sounds like you do, that I was being elitist then allow me to retort. I was not. I do not care if you have never even played and just comment here. I am not elite. I do not want to be elite, nor do I ever wish to come across as elite. I will however try to be funny quite often.. and sometimes, I will fail miserably. Other times I may succeed. :) -

Yeah.. I was just making a joke post about the many threads that were up QQIng about how the patch made things go backwards. Some people thought I was trying to be elitist.. I was trying to be funny. :| -
So Ive seen some new things have been added in.. I uh, have some questions? Gear: Tactical bacon configured and spawning on the server Gear: Box of 10 bucks.. shots Gear: Sickle added into loot spawns Did I get my requested Sickle? Can I kill players with Bacon.. ? :P Can I shoot players.. with actual $ buck shot? ;)

LOL.. you can't use that crap. Just join via Arma2:OA multiplayer server list. Much more reliable.

You really need to visit some other game forums then. This forum may be chalk full of fail.. but its not something to get upset over, especially if visiting forums is not new to you. It should just be expected. Now go cry.. you need a good one -
I have come to the conclusion that I only like the SA because its new. I honestly have much more fun playing the Arma 2 mods.. and recently have been giving the Arma 3 dayz mods a go and they are amazing. Much better player movements, and weapon physics. In fact, the only part of the SA that I like.. is ... uh... hang on, Ill think of something.. ......still thinking.. fuck.. what part do I like versus the mods? um...... Oh.. uh, the lack of skilled and experienced players? Nope, thats the part I hate the most. Oh yeah, I got it now: The forums! The SA forums are much better... :/

You go ahead and laugh... But did you play the Vanilla Mod shortly before the alpha came out? They introduced a patch that made the zeds very deadly. The result was swift and simple: players left.

I think you may have forgot about the pro-Bandit move... shoot them to unconscious and revive them after you rob them. Leg shots work wonders for making people give in :)

Ive experienced once or twice spawning as a fresh spawn, but every time I just back out and spawn in again and all is back to normal :) So if that happens to you, dont panic.. just back out and try again. -
I have not shot anything much beyond 400m.. so cant really say what its effective distance is, but I would think the max is not beyond 600m for the M4 ACOG. You gotta have MP handguard and buttstock if you want your spread to be manageable also.

The ACOG needs a 2nd optics mode like it used to have... seen below An example from A3... similar to how it was in the mods

I think a loosely based clan should come from this if it keeps growing.. The Delivery Men. ;) You call for help from the Medic clan. Call for special loot from the Delivery Men. Call for back-up from the Hero clan. And ask for vengeance from the Bandit clan..
