Once hunting hits.. all you need is cooking gear, hunting gear, and a nearby well for water.. You wont even need a backpack if you don't want one. All of it could fit on your person. You could survive out in that forest until Jesus comes back..

5 mins work is a waste of time? 5 mins to be fully geared vs. hours.. ??? Ive done it.. I can attest its not a waste of time. My first kill got me fully geared.. I was alive at that time for about 10 mins total. From coast, to magnum, to fully geared in under 15mins. Anyhow, that is my experience with it.

Every player I have killed, over 20 now, I have successfully looted. Headshots = only headgear ruined, in my experience. :) ..I take that back, there was one encounter where I was outnumbered and did not loot the bodies.

Teaming up ... to fight zeds? See, what you may not be considering is the more in your party.. the more zeds can spawn in around you. So teaming up is only good to an extent.. I see the zeds being more of a reason to go solo.. also more of a reason to kill other players as looting is much more difficult than shooting someone, running around for a bit to shake the zeds and then going back to loot his body before the 10 min timer.. I really see KOS becoming much more prevalent.. just give about a week, and people will start to adapt. Watch.

I dont think its debatable, to try to compare the experience that someone who has done something for a long period of time over someone who is trying it for the first few times.. I mean the only reason to argue that is because you are upset. Its not like you can convince people that experience is NOT tantamount in a person's reactions to change. Now, with that said this whole old vs new debate is really, really a waste of everyones time. Stop. Old players are old players, new ones are new. Each bring their own bag of ups and downs. An old player can have experience and piss it away, and a new player can have a fresh perspective but waste it on raging.. it really does not matter who is who or how long they have booted a PC game. What does matter is how people react to this early release alpha, and how they react to each other in this forum. Can you imagine if this was a bar, and not an anonymous forum? How many of you would have already been stabbed or shot to death by now? How many would have killed someone or assaulted someone simply over their opinion and how they responded to yours? See, if this was face to face IRL.. 99% of you would act much more mature and reasonable to each other. So lets just go ahead and pretend we know each other in here, and are all sitting down at a table together.. if we can do that, then maybe our conversations wont sound so fucking immature and argumentative. Friend a Blackbear? Im scared to do that. :| And the answer to how many zeds is 1. Only 1 would be needed to infect it.. thus killing it essentially. As far as actually killing it, that would be impossible.. a blackbear could kill more zeds than Chuck Norris with a chainsaw.
