I agree, but that is not the point I was making. The point I was making is that there is a way of handling things, in a professional manner, without instigating and adding to the forums tension. I know because I was a moderator at a well respected Dayz site, and it was our job to maintain a certain level of professionalism as the people here are "our" guests.. you want them around. Those that prove to be a problem, you warn, and eventually ban. But coming down to the level that I often see moderators and admins come down to in this forum is quite frankly, to use your words.. embarrassing. I am not trying to beat a dead horse and will let this go, but I thought I should make myself clear.

Oh it was glorious too! I was a moderator on BMRF.me (before it recently closed down) and I swear we had the most fun just going through the chat logs from servers reading what people were saying back and forth..

For me it was that first trigger pull, watching the body drop, taking a screen capture of the "study body" screen and reading the hate mail in global sidechat. Most defining karmic choice of my Dayz career by far.

Yeah I have a hard time figuring out why they cannot implement the loot and zombie spawn mechanic that was in place in the mods.. All of it spawned off of players being in the area. It would optimize the hell out of things, as the towns that no one has traveled to yet, would have nothing spawned there.. at all. The server would run much smoother. It should be a very simple tweak to the code.. but I guess they either have a reason not too yet, or its not quite as straight forward as it seemed to be in the mods.

It has me concerned though that they pushed it to exp.. it was live for a short period of time and now all of the servers are down. I hope that its just them tweaking things, and not bad news.

That is not an equal analogy. At all. You would be inherently offensive from the start by going there, and actually are being more so than a mere mention of the relation of Vodka and Eastern European countries consumption of it. It should not offend you over the mention of a generalization. Its okay that it does, but it really should not. Its not racism we are talking about, or prejudice. Its just saying that Vodka is a typical generalization of a hard liquor representation in Eastern Europe. Budweiser would be a typical generalization of beer in America. Same analogy.. not alcohol vs fat people.

I was waiting to hear that.. actually ingesting Vodka is a known medical practice to help induce vomiting. This would help save a player from poisoning and would come with the drawback of being "off" for a period of time with blurry vision. :) Thats just one actual in game purpose it could have.. weapon crafting - molotov disinfecting items start fire in rain add to recipe to make vodka sauce pasta ;)
