The only weapon I have the shows to the gaming world is my chest holstered 1911. I switch it out with my amphibia. The axe and sawed off are kept in my pack ;) Would you shoot me?

I was going to go full rainbow colors on the options text.. but stopped 1/3 the way when I realized I probably dont wanna go there. Wish I would have thought of adding in a bike. That would have been MUCH better! ;) Maybe Ill do that later in the new player section. :P

Has anyone tested the stab/press vest against Zombies lately?

If so, what was the result? Just wondering as I've never really had one and wondered what they do against Zombies now that they hit the chest rather than the head. Feel free to also discuss Dean Hall, Hunting, and the Spice Girls music being brought to Dayz via radio stations. This is a topic free for all. GO! -

Exactly ;) My unit thought they were smart for expediting this phrase even further with, "slow is fast" so it stuck with me. Ive used it ever since. But you're spot on, it comes from that old saying 'Slow is smooth..'. I always say it to myself whenever things are hitting the fan in life, and it works wonders. -

Sometimes you just gotta practice and build a rapport with your guys. Get to know how each other fights, and what they do. Then build on that with tactics. Until then, slow is fast. Call out each movement prior to its execution. Make sure everyone knows exactly what is happening before it does. -
I hope I get to hear someone mauling people to death with a chainsaw echoing through Elektro one day.. the silent screams will drown out the lapping shore. The nightmares will never cease after that....

The hoe and the pitchfork are actually excellent melee weapons as well, fyi ;) Nothing beats the fireaxe though. Not even the wood splitting axe can compare. Also, great post. Welcome to Dayz! You're now playing it right :) -

A good way to tell if another player is a threat is simply if he is armed. If you see him, and he is armed.. your life could be in jeopardy.

As a fresh spawn, how do you deal with Zombies since the latest Patch?

Excellent! I did this on a server, and wouldnt you know it.. the freshies I saved just ran away as soon as I got the Zeds to aggro me. So I made the most of it ;)
