  3. People like this give me a headache.. Would you rather play on a hacker free server with an admin that takes active interest in keeping it hacker free, or on a public server where anything goes? As admins we barely get a chance to play because our time is taking up making sure your game experience is smooth and free from hackers. Even when there is nothing wrong people need something to whinge about..

Get Game Servers To host you A Dayz Server !

You could have at least hidden the Referral link a bit better...
  5. Second this. I haven't played Public in months..
  6. You might have to add them in manually to the 'profile' table again. Just leave everything at it's default settings but change the 'unique_id' to whatever it is in the 'survivor' table. Might fix the problem.
  7. I think he means that once they port forward they have already negated the NAT themselves, but I could be wrong...
  8. Well, I don't know much about the systems behind NAT negotiation, but If your planing one releasing a simple server package (Like Minecraft and similar things) many people will want to set up their own small server from home (Depending on how resource intensive the server would be of course!). I think It would be a good idea to have some kind of NAT negotiation as many people don't know much about opening/fowarding ports, routing through firewalls, setting up a DMZ etc. I'll stick to running servers from a dedicated host, but I'm sure there a whole group of people who want something Simple and Easy so they can just play a small server with their friends. That's my thoughts anyways! :D
  9. I Run My servers from dedicated boxes with a Public IP. Although I do know a couple friends who run small servers from behind their router/firewall. Loving the work Rocket, Keep it up!
  10. Trying to make VW Golf race for our next server event :D
  11. Ventrillo server will be up be the end of the week!
  12. I recommend checking out this site : http://www.tunngle.net/community/forum/1711-arma-ii-combined-operations/ Has links to many different server packages, most of them a breeze to install, and plenty of helpful threads for server editing and hosting.

  14. Just added in more vehicles to the server! Still looking for more new members to bolster our ranks! Server wipe only happened a week and a half ago! Still heli's to be found and fixed!
  15. Now running server events most Friday, Saturday and Sunday night!
  16. With a 20 slot server I do about 7-8 gig of upload a day. If your going to be running it from your home network you'll have problems when you reach 15-20 players, lag will go through the roof...
  17. Well, the pride in knowing your helping the community. And a lot of headaches dealing with hackers. Which is why I started a private hive.
  18. Server has now been passworded, just to keep undesirables out!
  19. A few of our regulars have teamed up, and the server is 95% friendly so you should have no problems finding a group!
