Also then, to change the heli spawn rate, location (radius), and max amount, open up "server_monitor.sqf", and modify the below: // [_guaranteedLoot, _randomizedLoot, _frequency, _variance, _spawnChance, _spawnMarker, _spawnRadius, _spawnFire, _fadeFire] nul = [3, 4, (50 * 60), (15 * 60), 0.75, 'center', 4000, true, false] spawn server_spawnCrashSite; -and- if(isnil "MaxHeliCrashes") then { MaxHeliCrashes = 5; ?? Are there any other place that changes need to be made? Thanks!!

    So, if you wanted to revert back to HeliCrash loot table only, would you go to server_spawnCrashSite.sqf and change: _lootTable = ["Military","HeliCrash","MilitarySpecial"] call BIS_fnc_selectRandom; to _lootTable = ["HeliCrash"]; ??
  4. Try http://opendayz.net/index.php?threads/dayz-1-7-5-1-heli-crash-loot.7638/ He believes it's now in compile\server_spawnCrashSite.sqf file, but doesn't feel comfortable about messing around. Do know that the crash spawns now pull from three tables: Military, HeliCrash and MilitarySpecial. http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/125753-dayz-mod-1761-hotfix/page__st__160#entry1210234 That would be -my- first order of business.

    Cut out too much. Was referring to a target build for the 8 bags of food at NWAF by that poster. Or is that something that can also be done server side? Or perhaps client side? LOL.

    Au contraire. Those who are not PvP-ers will be forced into PvP at the more restricted sites in order to keep up with the arms race. If PvP-ers were the only ones at the airfields, then they'd run rampant over PvE-ers. Ex: DMR vs AK. Who wins that matchup? Additonally, in a resource poor environment, where is the best place to get better gear? Other players. I acquired my very first Chernarus head-wrap on the second day of 1.7.5. Had crap gear with nothing to lose. (other maps, esp Namalsk, a head wraps a given).

    SERIOUS POST: Thought that the weighted loot arrays would be "fixed". Hit two choppers last night, and nothing but trash/bandages on one, and a mighty 1014 on the other. Huh? Hit choppers to avoid the Stary/NWA Killing Fields when trying to get something better than an 1866. What was fixed?

    Go ahead and strongly dislike me then. The whiny kids did get their way. It's not a matter of disagreement, we all have those. It is the absolultely childish and frankly embarassing hissy fit that certain posters threw.

    Completely disagree. I know why they did it; kind of had to, but it just highlighted the character of some in the "community". Bottom line, the Dev Community are the ones putting in all the hours for FREE. AFAI am concerned, that gives them a much more signficant stake and say on what is developed and implemented. DayZmod.com is the place where all news resides, and should continue to be. They should be able to focus on development, and not community organizing. If this was a product for SALE, that'd be an entirely different story, but it's not.

    Good thing I'm not on the Mod Dev team. If I put in the hours, then tough. Good ideas are just ideas until you put in the effort to make them real. That is, of course, -after- clubbing said baby seals. For Rocket's Sealskin Boots (+5 on stealthy rolls).

    Jeez, what a bunch of whiny survivors. Understand your stance though. A shame, cause your time couild be better spent on other things. To address a semi-valid point (that more names = more slots on inventory), can you change the inventory titles to be food - Xname and drink - Yname? That way, they would all be co-located on the list alphabetically. edited to add: you whinners made it much more difficult (20+ minutes) to find the quick fix for the #20 kick; a much more legitimate and urgent issue.. Couldn't eat on our server, with some leaving cause their food icons were blinking. Had to wade through all that crap to find it. [#20 not a valid search parameter]. Thanks a lot.
