  1. No hosting company, I use my PC, its a something of a dedicated PvE(20x the zombies), player limit is only 25 so me and my friends(plus some strangers) can play on in, files are heavily modifed by some really nice guy who was kind enough to put effort in helping me start the server, I want to put more vehicles since only so few spawn and zombies just wreck them in a second(Zombie damage buffed to damage of an axe)... Every time I search my problem out I just get hacker sites about death trap vehicles which are spawned with scripts and hacks...

  3. As the title says, I have problems with adding vehicles to my map. I edit by transferring DayZ Chernarus map to SPMissions so I can edit withing the game it self(Arma2oa.exe, Mission edit when creating "New" server) I have tried everything there is on the internet, but what ever I do vehicles blow up when I or somebody else enters them, if I place tents they are uninteractive Can't open or pack them) only things that work so far are the junk blockades(ones that Rocket threw around the whole map)/Wire/Wire(CAT1) and Hedgehog-Steel(Tank Traps). And I have tried and managed to do only with dog houses is to remove Zombie spawns(Claimed Faction Areas). So I ask of any owner with even some experience if they can give me a bit of help or advice. If there is some kind of 3rd party program to do this faster and more precise I would appreciate the help. Thanks to all who respond.

    well you could have this if it is heavily guarded server, every possible modifiable anti-cheat/hack with battleye off, any other "Legit" way of doing it without shit happening.... idk

    I like this idea very much, Fortifying a building should also remove zombie spawns, but loot spawns too for balance, you could have an option "Clean out dead body's" which would take 1 or 2 minutes so that teaming up is necessary. I for most like to make camp for friendly playes in Churches in either Elektro or Cherno, or even in both if I get a player to help me out, option to put a large log/beam on the doors to block it would be awesome, even make 2-3 players needed to place the beam in... There are literally tons of stuff which can be implemented with base building... for example I would love for the big metal construction in Dolina to be able to remove outdoor ladders and stairs... and fix holes in the walls... But first smart thing to do before this is to make new zombie AI, current one is made of normal soldier AI which can open doors and climb ladders...comone Rocket in which movie/book did zombie ever open doors or climb ladders.

    Keep humanity in Day Z!

    Just add something in general... to counter the player killers, I saw 4 heroes team up and do over 50 player kills and walk into hospital with 1 zombie as bandits and leave with hero skins and a dead zombie....now really, just add some kind of magnet for zombie on each player kill, like blood over their clothes or something, or increase number of zombie spawning around player slayers... Or keep it simple and join a PvE server :)
  11. Well option to add&remove attachemts is what I would like the most, I'm hardcore zombie hunter and I favorite shotguns. M1014 for example, but I almost always have to use Remington which has almost no iron sight, while m1014 has a perfect sights for slug rounds. Remington has a flashlight which is one of best things since I rarely find a NVGs unless I loot them from bandits....so yes this would be one of better things to add to dayz, hope we get it soon

    Lost in the woods! Help?

    My advice is (if day, it's easiest then) rotate while looking at the sky. When you get the clouds to move from right to left just run strait, no turns or following the roads (if it spawned you kamenka/komarovo/bor) then when you hit the sea and often a town(if town loot it) proceed along the coast with sea to your right and land to your left. This will in 80% of cases lead you to either Cherno or Elektro, those 20% are when you get spawned right inside cherno or elektro :D If you found a friendly while on road or picked up a "any one want to team up" in side or global chat I'd recommend meeting up at church of either elektro or cherno since its only 1 way in and defensible against bandits. Any way good luck on surviving :thumbsup:.

    My big, fat wishlist

    Well I don't know if I am last or something, but vault while running is already on some servers (mostly rMod ones), its pretty cool as you can jump over buildings if zombies line up right :D, but its useful to prevent broken legs while outrunning zed and then having to stop to vault while they break your leg during vaults. I totaly agree with you on types of weapons, they should cut the fire weapons spawns to 1/3 of what it is now (finding 5 lee enfields in 1 barn and 3 double barrels in second that's 15m away is just too much), Make it more difficult to avoid zombies, make it difficult dependent Recruit=zombie stupidity 100%(only bumping into them makes em aggro, PvP oriented servers)....Veteran or hardest make zombie senses 3x stronger and aggroing 1 makes entire town go against you,(possibly take away ladder climbing and door opening ability's on lower difficulty). I'm getting off the subject, but awesome thing would be ability to barricade doors, to prevent entrance of both player and zombies. The blood regeneration should be implemented but let food still have part of its instant heal, lets say 5 or 10%... i don't know, I'm just throwing ideas up, but remove zombie climbing ladders ability lol :D. I have tried playing as zombie in singleplayer mod, they run 30 KM/h in a strait line so.....(20 if sprinting)
