zeds need to be the first thing folks worry about. Humans second, everything else when you get a chance.devs need to turn on the diseases for one and they should add an incurable disease that only the zeds can spread through attack and make it a high chance none of this .1% crap. make it cripple you slowly then you curl up in the fetal position and die. the result of this added is folks will have to actually worry about the zed they aggro'd being a tool and shooting up a storm and the bambi whos running around like a tool without a care in the world till he finds a gun. I understand that the zeds as of now are atrocious walk through walls etc but the game is feeling less zombie like and more stalker without the cool monsters/radiation zones. I don't understand the point or the direction this game is going as of now seems more deathmatch. so give the zeds some balls and change it to what the mod finally became a zombie survival game. and permadeath doesn't make a game survival sorry to let you know this but I could make a game where its a guy taking a shit and the fact that I give him permadeath would make it a survival game under your definition.

I feel ya OP. folks think they are bad ass sitting in a spot sniping. then they make you tube videos showin how small there dick is. I personally do not give too shits about sniper skills big deal.Can't wait for the scope glint to come in to play I know most of the snipers will be too stupid to place themselves right.what I do enjoy though are videos of CQC combat or 1 vs 4 infantry combat now that's a mans league not this sitting in a bush with a burlap sack on your head shooting some poor fucker.i wish we could do like they did in wars past and heat up a combat knife and burn out there eyes then of course we let them go.

blah blah blah, your gonna hear its not a PVE game its this and that I know I played the mod etc. just chuck it up to bullshit I think there is room for it and I think that's the only way your going to see any actual co-op or communities building from the ashes because as of now hahahaha its laughable, nothing but deathmatch in pretty wrapping. I like the game with PVP but I don't get scared or nervous anymore I just don't care. the other survivors lives I could give 2 shits about the reason being PVP. I hope to see PVE come into its own light though dean hall says no.hopefully with private servers a lot of the douche baggery can be controlled by good admins keeping like minded folk on the server kicking d-bags and trolls.we'll see I personally am tired of killing just for the hell of it theres no motive behind it and the cats that say survival are full of shit its just an excuse unless your being fired upon then atleast its understandable. 2 things needed for atleast the PVP to become less death match more zed apocalypse base building and some sort of notoriety system so cats no who's a good dude and who to avoid. but no one wants that because if they act like a tool folks will hunt them down and ruin there day,which in real life word would spread and folks would know this kind of information. another problem is the ability to just jump server to server it needs to be gone. a d-bag can go troll on one server then when he gets flak or folks hunting him he logs off and goes to another to start it again,it should be you leave a server you start again unless its the same server.they add these things or a version of it maybe PVE would make it with PVP still there if not well I guess finding another game is in order because this is just a deathmatch oh I'm sorry permadeath means its a survival game hahahaha bullshit.

As usual starvation is rampant on exp, not raging just the fact I drank 4 sodas ate 2 tomatoes 2 oranges and green pepper and still starved to death. the hunger/energy bar would not change. Did they change the stats of the fruit/vegetable,sodas or was it where I was soaked maybe its bugged or something anyone else having these issues.sucks find food and water yet starved oh well try it again.

sodas were my food of choice and as I see it fruit and vegetables are useless as well I will test further wish I could find some canned food and see if it does anything.could u imagine if all the food has no effect man that would be nasty.

when I think of horror I think of the tribe that Marlon Brando's character commanded in apocalypse now. hands cut off heads on spikes bodies burning that's what pops in my head when I think of horror in this type of medium not necessarily surprise scares or monsters. though it would be nice if zeds would be in rooms or closets at least inside of building.

I agree just this gun get a lot of flak and its essentially useless anyway as of now unless you want a challenge or something. I too don't care for false realism but if they have to do art balance so be it

nice work and I too have found mags on folks with ammo like that I just throw the mags in a pond or nearest bush.

hell the gun does nearly no damage I think its a good balance its quite but has less damage. and isn't there other things to complain about than a .22 rifle.

private hives are nice I think they give everyone a chance to play the game the way they want and find like minded folks who want the same. Such as RP which will not work IMHO on a public hive at least not at a level to be any good. and I do understand the griping about the self blood bag 1000 cars but theres an option don't play on those servers. as well as if you get a good admin you don't have to worry about hackers or douche bags. hell the most fun I've had in dayz was on a private hive loot only spawned once and you started with nothing it was awesome and there were like minded folks on the server hence I played on just that server for a year almost everyday. so to say private hives are crap well it might not be for you but its good for others. the way I think of a public server is like a public TS server, fucking madness full of retards where you want to take an ice pick and carve out your eyes and ears.

I think audio will be the last detail to be added and hopefully we get the atmospheric music back as well(I miss that). I agree the M4 sounds as if its balls are in a vice but its not the final product. also I would like to see the muzzle blast added have you ever shot an ar-15 or M4 at night woo its a thing to see huge fire ball and imagine the mosin. I think also if another toon is standing to close to your muzzle blast his hearing should deafen and ears should ring. its funny seeing a guy less than a few inches from a friends mosin/m4 barrel and they are barking away. shit you stand to close to the end of that muzzle your gonna get a blast in the face and those ears ringn like a champ. then they can add hearing protection etc.

they were a bitch to kill in the mod 12 gauge buckshot was the best. hardest thing was finding their little corpse to get meat from.but damn was it worth it.

how does number 7 happen when everyone just kills each other. how can one get any skills or gain any survivors for a group when all that happens is survivors killing other survivors.maybe when base building gets added or helis and I'm sure they won't be filled with killers flying the coast machine gunning everything. a scene from platoon comes to mind.

I decided long ago this is not a survival game. Its a TDM/PVP game it has nothing to do with the zed apocalypse except for a few who annoy cats.hell most folks have no reason to kill another except out of boredom or buck fever. I have taken a break from it for a few weeks and have found a lot better actual zombie survival games and the PVP actually has meaning not the(theres nothing to do but kill). I had high hopes for this game and can tell the devs are trying to actually make it a survival game and are trying to cut down on the elektro arena. I wish them luck and as for dayz I might come back in a few months and see if any survival mechanics have been introduced but I'm sure it'll be more guns and more BS like that.....it always is.

yeah and the douche bags can sit up on the shore of chenarus and snip folks swimming. yeah that'll get implemented immediately

uh yes you can hide an axe. it'll fit in most back packs I have a fire axe in my hunting pack not because I want to hide it I don't like it on my back.
