in reality I think most folks that went around shooting people would end up hanging from a tall tree or worse. zeds would be a threat and folks would have to work together because most people do well to tie there shoes let alone hunt or farm. once food runs out most would starve probably while carrying there phones complaining of the lack of facebook. buildings and cars would burn and morons would rob banks and steal money thinking that when its over they would be rich. dayzs is a game and for one I can't act like I would in a real life scenario because folks in this community are fucking brain-dead killers so I treat this game as an extermination simulator. theres no humanity or morals in this game I mean folks make posts about killing FS's and KOS and forcing folks to do ridiculous things more or less just to piss off everyone nothing but a community of trolls. why do I put up with it I don't know why do I post nonsense shit I'm stupid just like the rest I guess. I was watching a dev stream of a very much talked about zed game(won't mention the title because its been talked about enough)and even the devs were doing the same crap oh a survivor shoot on site oh I've got a jeep thertes a survivor lets run him over oh I got a torch theres a survivor lets set him on fire.the problem with this game and the others are the humans who play they have no imagination hence no immersion hence all they can do is kill stuff. these folks probably go outside and shoot trees and bushes because they are living things and technically they are killing something ugh humans you know I hate'em.

just do what I do sir I just try and kill as many dayz players as possible it doesn't matter anymore who's friendly or who's not. We are all scum who must be shot like the dogs we are.

if they don't add hordes that number at least 100 then this is not a zed game. other games I've seen in dev already have working hordes and zeds. I don't understand why they weren't worked on and implemented before alpha.

So I was looting a house the other day and I ran across a kitchen knife. Suddenly I thought of the new throwing mechanic and thought of a scenario in my head of getting held up, then quickly not COD/etc fast but rather quick throwing this kitchen knife into the chest of the assailant knocking him out of the scenario. So my question to the community is should they add throwing hatchets and throwing knives? And do you think not sure if its been mentioned items thrown can damage another player like a brick or big ass rock? i don't want to see shuriken or anything crazy though the ballistic knife would probably be floating around chenarus ideas thanks.

honestly from what i learned over the last few months is haxxors hate clans. seen a few clans just get wiped with my own eyes. I've also been murdered by them but I've noticed when most cats speak of them lately its always a large group or a clan or some known youtuber. maybe drop your tags because the haxxors can see your name.

i agree with you sir i think that there should be server able to cater to anyones needs like you said be it day/night cycle time and (i know I'm gonna get shredded)PVE well for this maybe when mods are out and AI bandits etc hey not my thing but some like it and they should get it. point being there are so many ways this game can be played enjoyed setup that i think of vanilla SA as the base to the cake and the private server/mods will add a lot more flavor to cater to anyones vision of the apocalypse it will just take a lot of patience from us and of course that dreaded word time.

I was on an experimental last week and there was a server that went through the whole day/night cycle in an hour honestly didn't think i would dig it but it was awesome you could run to an area to loot during the day and when you got there it would get dark and you could get your solid snake on.

we need radiation suits and gieger counter ASAP.

nah I wouldn't feel bad man you were in NWAF up there its kill or be killed I'm surprised you havn't had to kill before that. hopefully when they introduce improvised explosives we can throw them into those houses and BOOOOOOOM. no more campers problem solved but it'll be awhile I think for that so I say just avoid them. not everyones going to survive and if you try and make chenarus a better place your going to die unfortunately there's no room for heroes in the traditional sense in chenarus worry about yourself and you'll survive a lot longer.

everything you want fix seems to be PVP focused to make your job easier to kill. how about(yes i'll say it)zeds. how about ladders,how about the lack of disease, and loot respawn. I piss on your PVP problems.

my dudes like 2 or 3 weeks old I don't go looking for fights and if I do encounter folks I usually watch and avoid. Only way I fight is if I'm cornered or your in my way other than that I have no reason to look for death. unlike most I guess I find enjoyment in stealth and exploring. now before this playstyle I would go looking for trouble and my characters wouldn't live longer than a few hours if I was lucky.

hahaha I like creeping in the night i'll take the loot you don't want thanks. I miss flares those always made towns creepy as hell.i'm sure the night time will be fixed soon enough your lucky its not like the old days and have the 24 hr day/night cycle you either got used to it and adapted or you didn't play for 12 hours.

I do that anyway I never go through my gear unless in a safe place. yet I still like your idea of the animation anything to make the game harder is a good idea to me. what can I say I like the abuse
