it has nothing to to with titles and I usually laugh when I die well laugh at myself because I know I messed up, hence the title banditry and what it means now and as I said I understand also KOS etc has its place yet I still see it as murder not banditry if that's me being on a high horse well it'll probably get shot along with me oh well.

agreed they are a extremely useful tool marking your spot for heli pickup or getting zeds off of you or my personal favorite throwing one in a building that has a camper in it sending zeds to eat his face.

I'm sure they'll fix the issue of them recharging the attack before attacking again. I hope they make them better eventually I'm not hating on folks who side step to me its just using your brain to get an advantage but I do want the game to be harder and since zed numbers are low I think they should get buffed somehow because IMHO they are just fodder. if you think about it if they are so easy to kill(which they are) how the hell did civilization collapse why are we the only ones who can sidestep and kill them it just doesn't make sense from an immersion/lore perspective you think for the zeds to have killed everyone or at least make the citizens government collapse they had to be a son of a bitch to deal with so here's hoping they get some ball growth hormone soon and become really nasty mofos which strike fear and dread into everyone they come across.

agreed most of my friends started playing after I would go to work and tell them stories about my sessions the night before. they'd say no way its like a movie or that sounds badass followed by a hundred questions about what you can do in game and I would just tell them buy it and find out. and of course they would acquire a dayz addiction shortly after or be a little bitch and say it was to hard but then again you can't please everyone.stories are what make the game IMHO especially after those nights with a real good close call when you think your times up and you somehow come out on top the victor.

COD with zombies lol yeah there are a few version that are kinds like that like epoch or overpoch.but if you find a vanilla dayz server its really good,there are vehicles and bikes and heli's but you still end up running and walking(you have to find and fix the vehicles)once you get a car you then have to keep gas in it and worry about hiding the damn thing so it might show some folks what your in for when SA adds vehicles though I assume in SA it going to be a lot harder/stressfull which I'm all for.

I love the mod started playing vanilla dayz yes there still some servers that are actually vanilla. as the above person said it is still arma but still I put more time in the mod not because its more complete than SA they both have things I like more. and as for haxxors I personally havn't seen one in SA since February and havn't seen one in the mod except once in my 2 years or so of playing. there still is a community though a lot of the mods are dead but theres still namalsk,epoch,overpoch etc. some are more military ridiculous than others. give it a shot if you wanna try it though you will have to buy arma 2 its 24.99 for what you need to play dayz. if you get it hope you have fun I know I have hell i'll end up playing it today I'm sure.

so I decided to play dayz mod vanilla, lot of banditos lots of deaths went into it with a care free attitude I didn't care if I lived or died anyone that wanted to team or meet up I was down fuck it I thought I have no gear I have no value and it turned out to be a blast the cat I met had a rough time so he said he got shot a few times got lured into some traps but we met up headed to the dreaded cherno. it got dark really dark we had to use the flashlight on the g17 periodically which was something both of us didn't want to do. at the same time some survivor is throwing flares and running around us like a mad man I thought I was going to have to try and kill him didn't want to but I'm not going to let my new friend die and I was going to do what I had to do to keep us both alive. but anyway long story short I love you noobs I like showing you the game your usually trustworthy and me being friendly for the most part your not corrupted or bitter yet from KOS or assholes. I had a lot of fun I've noticed a lot of noobs playing the mod and I'm glad theres fresh blood running around. we are gonna try some SA I'm experienced in it but he is not so here's hoping I got another convert to our way of life our game and our attitude there will be death and fun so I just wanted to say if it wasn't for new players I would've gotten bored and watched some lame ass show on TV so thanks and good luck

if you get a tank then I get a javelin missile system as well as a stinger and an armor piercing rifle round and I get white phosphorus grenades and if I have all this stuff why am I not playing battlefield I think folks want this kinda shit just so they can be over powered douchebags and act like they run the show yeah it'll take weeks blah blah blah bullshit some douche clan will just serverhop or go to there clan server loot the parts and its tank on. I'm sure it'll happen one day down the road overpoch will infect dayz SA and it'll lose the magic it has and go to easy mode.

wow maybe its something you stumbled into for the future. instead of using dayz commander etc you can just pull up the map and difficulty you want to play on. another question I have is whats the rahmadi map hmmm weird hopefully someone has answers I sure as hell am stumped.

hahah your right my car broke down last winter and I found my self having to walk home in -0 temperatures. instead of moving slower I tried to move faster to keep my body heat up and like you post said I cussed and cursed the heavens the whole time I think at one point I even gave the middle finger to the almighty.

agreed didn't the man actually almost die from survival training and that's where he got the idea to make a survival simulator minus zeds.

why won't you just say that you wanna be the sickest most vile survivor in the game. because that's all I'm getting from your posts you don't care about any realism or about the fact that foods plentiful yet you say you want it just because. so that means if your not eating humans for a survival sense then your just wanting to play as some sicko from the movie the road. just say that and we'll all understand, your point will be made and there will be less argument about why its not a viable survival method except in extreme circumstances.

I think folks want stuff like eating people just so they can make videos of it. 1 vs. 2 sniping cannibal brah watch as I camp a hill for 2 hours then eat the bambi's face. just like shitting in the game it'll be nothing but Cleveland steamers on youtube 24/7. I do see a point of adding it if like the post above said they add harsh winter elements like animal hibernate food is non-existent but it should also come with factors of disease since it would be cold and there are no medical doctors we should be dying of the common cold or the flu. as for shitting in game well theres a discussion on that so I won't derail this thread with that. I'm sure cannibalism will eventually show its face along with suicide its just gonna be from mods or the devs maybe late in development.

I didn't think they would ever add a mental system doesn't seem to fit this game like it would others. and as for folks feeling bad hell there lucky to not shoot themselves for laughs. we all want the COD style of player gone but with server hopping and other exploits its still to easy and quick to get high grade gear and go into a full pop and get into engagements. I'm starting to see this game having 2 types of survivors, one will be the survivalist who's challenge is how many days his toon can last off of the land, then there's the second who wants PVP 24/7 stays in major cities and towns just to get into trouble and in these 2 things I think you actually have some realism. I think if shit hit the fan you'd have those 2 types of folks ones who survive based on knowledge of the land and the anarchist who wants to burn down the local police station and gets his food/materials from folks and kills a bunch of people. The ones in between just die because they are to busy trying to charge their I-phone. I'm sure I'm wrong but I don't care that's how I perceive this game it'll change from time to time but there will always be the murderers and the survivalist.

I liked your quick draw at the end. I've challenged folks to duels but they never go for it unfortunately, I think its a perfect way to settle arguments in chenarus.

agreed its funny the server I play on after a restart its ridiculous the amount of server hoppers that join for like 10min then poof gone go to an airfield shortly after oh no loot. I need to start learning when restarts happen so I can make my way there prior an maybe kill some of these hoppers.

Longhorn, Goats, stab vest, these I still want to findbut haven't hopefully I get more to add to the list hopefully more animals to hunt especially dangerous ones

my favorite map as well I hope to god they make it for SA when its all said and done folks bitch and moan about cold but that map had you hoarding heatpacks and painkillers like a boss especially if you got a good server with EVR storms and bloodsuckers turned on.
