i always thought the hunting pack was from like early korea area wars before camo was the norm on all mil items.but i could be wrong it doesn't look very water proof either be nice if we could just grab a trash bag and put the pack in it and other precious cargo and it be protected to an extent.

thx for the info. it makes sense the comfort word in the changelog kinda threw me off but no i get it with the wear depending on terrain and type of shoe/boot.

we'll all just adjust our tactics and be fine maybe a little aggravating but it won't stop me from water.

i did read about them adding the ability to use rope,wire and duct tape i can't seem to locate the article though sry i'm sure someone might oblige us. just give it time atleast for me when i think to myself they should add this or do this next thing you know its in game for the most part so if your thinkin it then they will probably make it and your suggestion is reasonable and realist/authentic.

agreed mag size does suck especially in a game where it could be crucial to you dieng. i've never got to shoot a glock though i have wanted to so i'm in the same boat as you. and yeah it is funny watching folks get pissed when folks mention one gun is better than the other. one thing i do love about dayz is most of the guns are pretty true to design they all are better than the others at certain things and in the end i think it comes down to what you like and what you are accurate and efficient with be it the blaze or the M4.

man i havn't seen a speedloader in forever either and if i did i'd probably have your kinda luck and it would be ruined lol.gotta love the 357 my favorite gun in the game.

no flame i personally love the 1911 but it more of a thing where i grew up shooting that pistol and i just love the way it feels and i know how it works and can dissasemble it with my eyes closed probably. i do like the glock they are not to be underestimated i watched a test in a gun magazine where they froze it in a block of ice put next to a furnace and stuck it in mud and left it in the ocean for 3 months after each test they shot 300 rounds threw the gun and it never jammed and it never misfired only damage was a little speck of rust from sea water and it still shot in a survivor situation i would want that pistol over the 1911 but like i said i have a soft spot in my heart for colt weapons.

had this issue with the makarov the other day right mag and it was fully loaded but couldn't for the life of me get the orange indicator stating i could combine or the right click load mag icon. what i did was unequip it then drag the mag over it and it loaded the mag after that it was good to go hopefully my way helps if not hope they get it fixed your a lucky guy to have a 1911 and a mag havn't seen either one of those tools in a long time.

it only happens when my toons self-esteem is low it says i no longer feel warm and fuzzy then comes the self hugs.

man i have been waiting for RP since they announced SA that to me is the highest pillar of play in this game please let me know when you get your server up and running would love to join in the fun i like the radio channel idea as well.

honestly i don't think in terms of good bad or neutral anymore i just react to each situation in a way where i can come out alive if that means killing someone or helping someone i will i'm not an asshole i don't grief and i don't troll and i don't play for the lols. if someones killing folks that i feel don't deserve it and i think i can come out the victor i will try and kill them but in the end it all comes down to me and my friend walking away alive.

I would love to see a weight mechanic added or a stamina mechanic I remember reading that it was planned and haven't heard or read anything about it sense are they waiting till vehicles are added or are they just not going to do it. its actually the one mechanic I'm waiting on I think it would add another challenge to the game making you choose what to carry and with stamina it would make you move slower or at least not so YOLO. I'm sure some will hate it but if the game is to be authentic then it needs to be done. maybe they could add something to make your guy stronger like roids or carrying more weight a lot will give you more strength so you can hence haul more shit. I should not be able to carry all the crap I have on my person now let alone full sprint from one end of the map to the other without stopping except to be nosey and loot towns. this is all just opinion but if anyone has heard anything it would be great to hear some news on this subject. I looked for the topic in the search option and seen no-one posting if I missed it sry but none the less heres another post.

I don't think its that a lot of us hate mil gear we just don't want COD or BF4 a lot of new guys which I'm glad to see more diverse players get the game just for lols where as some get it to survive the zed apocalypse these 2 types clash at times I mean there was a post on the steam forums of some tool saying that he doesn't think most people play for the survival aspect that they need to stop adding those types of things and he stated that they need to add more mil spawns to me he's wrong I bought the game for those very reasons not for PVP but some do and I try not to hate on them even though they seem more in abundance now days. in the future I hope there is something for everyone but I think the game is going to get brutally hard atleast I hope. this game being a sandbox game and the whole make your own story everyone sees a vision of what the game should be but we forget that the vision of the creators is the one we actually are going to see so I try to roll with the punches if they add a bunch of mil gear so be it if they become non-existant rare so be it I just hope the game is hard and authentic to an outbreak/break down of society and that everyone has fun at least sometimes.

try loot cycling or take all items out of the area or try moving to other towns I play only on persistence servers because I fell they are a little more difficult if you move away from the coast and hit towns not frequently traveled then you'll find good stuff just don't bother hitting mil areas they are usually loot free due to hoppers and the like at least from my experience.

its not PVP its called an ambush you are attacking someone unaware who has no time to react hence they are killed now if you miss and they return fire then that's PVP just because you shoot at a human doesn't mean your in PVP until they are aware and shooting back its KOS or an ambush. not hating just stating but then again who cares killing is killing whether it for duty profit or fun-Charles manson.

actually I kind of like it I have played on nothing but those servers and it seems to make you move more to different towns and you have to put into account if its a highly traversed area .I havn't found much military stuff at all they are a lot more rare military places are empty or full of crap. but civ stuff is abundant I have got really good gear well to me anyway and a lot of ammo as well. I see pictures of guys with grenades and fully equipped AK and I think has to be persistence off because I've been on the same server and not seen any of that stuff or anyone equipped like spetsnaz. different strokes different folks though.

this game always something new to learn like just today I didn't know the dam log tavern has a little side shed blew my mind I've looted them countless times never seen it always in a hurry.

read my mind again sir beans. poisonous snakes and spiders would be cool so would swarm of insect bees and locusts for the crops. though I have to say they need to give us a way to hook a water hose to the water pump cause I'm KOSing beehives.

that would be awesome IMHO hygiene should be integrated in some form or another though honestly my toon would look like a bum like he has nothing yet has valuables per hidden in his dirty ass coat. hygiene could actually become a tactic as well. I would also like to see the medical aspect start to come together they have a lot of little glimmers in the game now I think once its said and done games going to be really great and our time will be spent taking care of a lot more aspects of our toon then just loading magazines with ammo and fueling the truck. we will actually have to survive and long term survival might actually become very hard.

if there was a private shard that was passworded had PVP and a HEAVY role-play element and NO DOUCHEBAGS or HAXXORS I would happily donate my hard earned money to help it keep online.public is fun but the human garbage that exists on those servers leaves much to be desired. with a private shard you would atleast get to know most of the survivors in time create stories have crazy encounters and folks would get a reputation for being an evil or a good person. as it is now servers are not communities they are like different dimensions with strangers coming and going and some have super powers and the ones that don't are douche bags.i don't like to switch servers I like to find one and stay for months or longer. rant end

if you remember the original thief game I think they should do it sort of like that. you draw the bow and if you hold it too long he would groan and it would start to sway and then eventually he would shoot not being able to hold it any longer. but at when you first draw there should be no sway hell the thing is a pain to craft and I heard its not very damaging I actually wanted to use it as my main weapon but against the other weapons I think I would be a fish in a barrel with it so I use other weapons maybe they will adjust some things or add a compound bow or an medieval style long bow time will tell.

only ran into one in my dayz life and I gave him the finger and yelled obscenities at him and died laughing in his face. I don't want to talk to a haxxor or know a haxxor and if I meet one in game I wish cancer upon them and die with a smile and hit respawn.
