i see your point i never bother to trade and i don't see there ever being so-called bounty hunters hell you never know the guys name especially on public servers there is no reputation to be lost or gained which if you lived somewhere and this shit happened folks would know you and unless your an asshat wouldn't KOS and the ones that would would last 2 seconds where i live atleast these thug ass criminal types would be first to go there would be no bandits because we would hang all of them in the town squarte and dare someone to fuck with our communty and folks would probably trade and help one another. but in this game where everyone is anonymous and jumps from server to server and there are no name tags no reputation no wonder everyone is an asshat and just kill each other. private servers are nice but the bullshit you have to go through to play on one get whitelisted talk to the admin in the TS like i'm getting a fucking job or something is ridiculous but understandable. i could see one day there being strict rules on servers such as perma ban KOS or PVE etc hell thats the only way you can get any kind of interaction longer than 2 seconds in and it gets boring too as the zeds are no threat to anyone except my coat and my pants. in 6 years haha i can see alot of different servers but i'm sure a mod will come along and change everything and dayz vanilla will go the way the mod did when epoch hit. but we'll have to see i'm sure i'm wrong but just coming from a common observation of this moment in time. and by the way if they added NPC's i wouldn't care if they added trade zones i wouldn't care i just wanna play and have fun and not get bored which i am as the game stands now.

i really do not like the idea of stats because we all know which ones would matter and that would be K/D and headshot distance etc. now not to be a complete dick i have thought of a compromise you keep your own stats either by carving notches on your gun or collecting ears then you can still compete with your friends but of course when you die you start over. only way i would like to see stats honestly is in game not a third party program no battlelog BS please.

not only food but clean water also needs to eventually be tweaked we should have to boil water from wells and from creeks or risk some kind of infection. with the heat turned up i understand the water bottle spawn being raised hell i carry 4 on me. now could you imagine the heat raised and not having the abundance of clean water and having to boil it with fire wooo sounds exciting to me thats for sure.

i think the guys above post was correct he was aiming it looked like he just wasn't hitting you at all really and if he was just a few pellets were hitting that sawn off sucks. don't know why they gotta make shotguns suck hell the pump is no good anymore either in my opinion. at the end he finally used it at the correct range it looks like point blank.

check out the roadmap for this year i think its Q2 it states stamina not sure what there interpretation on it will mean but i hope its not just some stamina bar like skyrim i hope there's weight involved as well as injuries affecting said stamina and the amount you can carry. but like i said its hard to tell what the devs have in mind i just hope it raises the difficulty.

that would be cool i always thought of the international hotel being used for an instance. i figured it would end up like the movie the raid: redemption having players actually having to get to the top to get rare weapons and loot and then having to fight there way out all the while zeds are pouring in the longer you stay stuff like that. i think instances like these would be nice like you posted camps would be great loading screen or not anything that makes me explore and get lost is a plus in my book.

you think they'll always make it slow to get back moving. as it is right now it sucks usually if i go unconscious i usually know i'm dead theres no recovering unless you got a friend near by. i've never personally been knocked out in RL. I wonder how folks react to it in a survival situation if your in a battle like war do you set there and get you head straight and go back to the fight or do you wake up and realize your lifes at stake and get back to the fight. i know i was in an explosion that burned like 25% percent of my body and i blacked out and ended up a couple hundred yards from the explosion i wasn't blown that far i ran and don't remember how i got there and folks said i ran faster than anyone they ever seen before adrenaline is a bitch i would like to see this added as well though it would bring back some memories i would like to see all kinds of responses to trauma rather than falling over with an hour glass and 5 seconds to come back in action. maybe i'm completely wrong and it wouldn't work for the game ideas would be appreciated.

i hope they eventually do like zomboid and all the seasons i personally don't care if it doesn't snow chenarus etc, i thought it was a fictional country so it can have whatever weather the devs think is necessary i hope to see snow on the ground with dead trees and that wonderful silence that comes along with it except the wind blowing through chilling you to the bone. man that would be great.

what would be cool as well if they added these facilities and we could interact and use the lab and equipment so we could play the role of these government scientists doing these experiments it would create the atmosphere and create a story for those who encountered said lab and the folks running it maybe they capture you and do experiments on you maybe you join them and go baiting survivors into the lab with promises of rare loot. things like that would really get the imerssion to the next level and also give people things to do rather than the same ol shit.

dysentery not a joke i've heard this has dropped a lot of survivors that get stranded on islands an such and it sounds really bad,schizophrenia not a disease but has its place in this game, depression again not a disease but has its place in this game.common cold and flu, i also think we need to be able to catch the zed disease in the game and it should be incurable and you get a week long incubation period with debilitating symptoms till death(project zomboid does this and it adds a huge amount of tension and paranoia because you know just one mistake could end your life just a scratch too deep and its the grave. i'm sure none of these will make it in besides the cold or flu but we need serious diseases mental issues to deal with all this killing and running in the rain in cold weather with no consequences is getting old if folks want to be a psycho killer then there need to be psycho consequences if they want to yolo run from zeds in towns and fight 5-6 at a time there needs to be the zed plague that shows them other wise. yes play how you want i play how i want but i want serious mental/medical consequences for all action especially on long term survival. most may disagree but oh well i can still dream.

though i do agree with accolyte that you can tell hopefully when we get near finished product they can add that kind of polish to the game. boarded up doors and window would be cool for doors you can't enter. it would get the imagination running as too what happened whats behind that door or window that it needed to be boarded up. personally i think the most immersive building is the blue doctors office they did a great job with the atmosphere in that building with the blood and the pictures on the wall seems like some serious shit went down in there i hope we get to see more of those kinds of things later on though and if not oh well i'm sure the devs have a reason not to i trust there judgement they haven't let me down yet.

hell i'm happy to see stamina in Q2 in the road map made me smile. i assume that will be when they start slowing us down and stuff.from the looks of it its going to be an exciting year for dayz the game is going to change drastically i assume when a lot of the changes they have planned come into effect.

i think the high end mil-loot like NVG and SVD will eventually be rare they are still adding stuff etc hell i haven't seen a 1911 in months i had a mag for over 2 weeks and haven't seen anyone with the pistol. i'm like steak posted above i like the civilian wear though i do mix that with the regular mil vests like the dpms and the hunting clothing. i honestly don't care what they add as long as it makes sense. i personally with they would add some bolt action hunting rifles with a scope and some other revolvers like the raging bull and a colt anaconda maybe even the 500 Smith and wesson.

thats the point we are screwed we are spanwed into a harsh world that has nothing to offer but death. we have to make our own way we have to survive. if you've missed the point to the game well don't know what to say i personally think the game is too easy its gotten a little harder with the elements like cold heat and the rain. but the zed numbers are not there and there are other issues. do you know how boring the game would be if you spawned with a truck and a weapon i would get bored in 10 minutes. don't fret though i'm sure after full release there will be private hives that oblige your wishes with 1000+ vehicles and you'll spawn with a belt fed machine gun.

i thought it would be cool if they had instances too use the international hotel. make it full of zeds and very rare loot at the very top floor i think some of the buildings that we can't enter could be turned into these maybe more could be added as well become like dungeons. by the way i like your idea for these raids or events. maybe a water treatment plant could be added and make the water clean or you could be a bastard and poison it too that way there something for the badguys as well.
