i'm pretty sure he meant the weapons on your back like an axe or shovel not a magazine or pistol. and if you want realism how can we carry a full size axe on our back a weapon as well and carry a weapon all with out slings or straps as well as run at 50 miles an hour if they want to start making things authentic start by adding weight to items and stamina to the player enough said.

so you want to add grinding to dayz ummmmmm no i can see no way this can be balanced at all. it would be a bunch off asshats that just farm zeds on low pop or these supposedly public servers that kick everyone max out skills then just kill everything with no weapon sway and excellent accuracy. now if they would add in disease a life span and a very authentic medical system like if you get shot in a vital area your fucked like mr.orange in reservoir dogs then i could see it as combat would have a little more risks involved than just bandaging or morphine/splint. and we would also need soft skills in farming cooking carpentry such as barricading hell even building fires since most folks i know can't start one without a lighter etc. again i just don't see the need as of now for skills it would just fuck up everything i know there are a lot of honest players that would level honestly but look at how some folks are it would just be shit not your idea or the mechanic itself but the players themselves would make it shit.

hopefully once the zed AI gets tweaked some more we can all get our big boss on. i personally loved the stealth aspect the mod had. i used to love sneaking into towns making it past all the zeds getting what i needed and getting out with out drawing aggro or firing a shot, it was quite a rush

only thing about clans that gets on my nerves is the mil speak and usually when some shit hits the fan the comms turn into just noise and i get a headache and everyone dies and then theres atleast one friendly fire incident i quit that clan as it got on my nerves i'll stick with 3 people tops now maybe 4 depending on the person and if they can have comms discipline i'm no badass and probably suck but atleast i know when to shut up. and as for not playing the game right i say let them have there fun they paid just because i don't dig it i can't down it.

yes yes hit the nail on the head. if your dead from a bullet to the brain or its a mortal wound meaning your fucked then no defib thats all we need is folks getting shot up then instantly rising from the grave to keep fighting there is another game that this would be similar too that i shall not say as it would just cause flame and grief.

ther timer is also to stop ghosting back when it was first released if you got into a gun fight etc some folks would log they didn't sit down for 30- seconds they would vanish then they would go to a server to move in a better position re log on the other server and kill you which was BS. so to combat that they implemented a log out timer and a log in timer. the log in timer is also for server hoppers though not as effective. i think its amazing the patience some folks have to wait for a log in timer to go try and find some piece of gear they might lose mere seconds after obtaining it. i see your point how if your game crashes etc you have to wait but such is the price to try and keep d-baggery to a minimum. just think we wouldn't have to wait if there weren't exploiters and ass hats but such is the internet and gaming there's always some shit bag amongst regular folks. all i can say is get used to it or try and fix your internet situation by the way why do folks play online game with WIFI hardline that shit you get your true speed instead of like a 1/3 of it and you get no interference.

i think all the weapons in the game have a use it just depends on the situation and what they were designed for after all they are tools to say this gun is shit and this gun is god just leads us down the COD road were everyone looks the same and meta's the fuck out of any new content. how did this game get so competitive maybe human nature i use what i like and what i'm effecient with and if its considered the worst who cares my toon lives and thats all that matters when you log out.

i wish the would hurry and add diseases in game we need them its a toss up to me between diseases and stamina both i think are very important to the game and will change things.

how is his idea any worse than spawning and getting shot or spawning and getting into fights etc its all chance you might survive the kos douchebag killing new spawns. just like you might survive a disease you spawned with its not different its the luck of the draw. and if you would stop playing because of that why don't you stop now because of the bullshit i mentioned previously.

i like the idea and i think if you put that idea on servers where you can't respawn for like an hour douchebags who suicide to get better spawns will stop or play on d-bag servers with other d-bags where they belong. i can't wait till they implement that feature so admins can change the spawn in timer these yolo swag ass hats can spend there time waiting or go find servers that match there playstyle i'm for anything that makes my life in chenarus harder and i think bieng injured at spawn makes sense we just wash up on shore now slightly hungry and thirsty which unless your new its not even an issue.

i actually expect this game to take years to complete and honestly i hope they take there sweet damn time and make it exactly how they want it. if it means overhauls new renderers hireing orcs whatever.

not to bring up WOW but i hope dayz lasts as long as it has and i hope they just update it to hell and back. maybe we could end up with a huge as map or maps with different regions of the world and like WOW once the goodlooks fade they just update that to if its possible its not that i hate sequels or that i am cheap skate beatskate just that i think the game once completed will have the lasting appeal that wow has. well except for me i could care less about WOW but it is successful and has lasted over a decade.

if you play the mod i've seen some servers that have the feature where you don't take damage if thats your thing different strokes different folks

i found a 1911 in that house. and nothing in this game in guaranteed to be there or spawn such is dayz.

there are private PVE servers that i have seen. there are servers to fit whatever play style you want like RP,PVE,PVP etc and i'm sure as the game progresses even more styles and preferences just wait till modders get a hold of it in the future it might end badly or it might be the best thing ever we'll have to see just give it time.

i too would love to see maps made for every region of the world. it would make it feel like the virus has destoyued the world and we could choose which country or region we think we could survive in and we could find an area that we live and hence get more immersion and also the game would never ever get boring. it would be cool if we could have some kind of transition such as get a helicoter or plane working and fly to those other maps etc sry for the de-rail your idea was to good not to comment on.

my friend likes to do the moonwalk and i tend to drop frames right when i go to hit zeds sometimes so that i get my shirt ruined. levitation i havn't encountered i know we play on a UK server so we i know our problems stem from our connection. hows your dsync and your ping is it good OP.

hell if you hunted with it in RL and its proven to work hell we should have it maybe there could be a quality difference or a reason created for us to make the ashwood or the wooden that your suggesting. sounds like a good idea i think its a pain in the ass to make on as it is now and they don't seem to really be worth a damn right now either.
