yes yes i do if they are done correctly and are as nasty as zeds would be in say 28 days later and if ammo and weapons are more rare bet your damn ass it'll make a difference because you asshats that shoot at everything will get mobbed and eaten what i hope is they add a grab mechanic to the zeds as well as a health buff so they take more damage. if you want to kill a man it should require skill it should not just be a lol type of thing it should become a calculated risk to shoot a weapon and get into an engagement. i'm sure the public sewer servers will still full of asshats as usual so i don't really care in the end honestly i can find servers to match what i look for in survival so enjoy your PVP TDM douchebag convention.

first and last this game is survival. I personally can't wait to sit in the woods and watch you tools shoot guns and get shredded by zeds. i hope they keep raising the numbers of zeds each patch as well i want to fear the cities. i'm sure there will be more killing honestly because i see things as becoming more rare such as canned food and ammo and as of now i see alot of videos where guys would rather PVP than get healthy i've seen them literally starve there characters nearly to death because they are to busy camping a house shooting folks... i hope your days are done and that you are forced to think twice about doing that stupid shit. blah blah different playstyles i don't give a shit screw your PVP way of playing.

i feel the same OP with added zed numbers or not a 75rnd drum shouldn't always spawn full neither should mags in my opinion. i would also like to see quality actually count for ammo like if its damaged it might jam and you have to reload or something. and i did play the mod there were times when i could go around looting and not fire a shot i used stealth. since that really isn't an option here i can only say gonna have to play smarter and if you don't have the rounds or the people you might have to wait till your better equipped before you go into areas booming with zeds. i actually embrace the idea that i might not be able to go where i want due to the risk of death by zeds that's when i know we got a real zed game on our hands.

anyone remotely interested in RP should check out this server. great community all mature individuals, theres something for everyone if you wanna lone wolf you can if you wanna be in a large group go for it. there's land to claim and folks to save or rob. the community is growing everyday everytime i log on theres new folks to meet and greet which is awesome. if your new to dayz give it a shot too i'd be happy to show you the ropes though we'd RP some sort of storyline into it lol. i've always wanted to RP in dayz i honestly think its the purest form of the game and the future is bright with the items they plan to add in the future. hope to see you in the wasteland-Kane Pliskin edited to also say joining is quick and painless very streamlined and easy to understand.

i don't want to see any in-game currency. if there would be something used for currency it should be left to the folks who play on that server community. i don't want to see a mmo economy with a market place bullshit with an m4 being sold by bots for 10000000000 bullets. leave it to the players to trade and organize events to acquire goods and services. now if i misunderstood your idea i do apologize because anytime i hear mmo talk like currency or marketplace when it comes to dayz it makes me cringe and grind my teeth. i could see currency or paper money being used as currency on an RP server though but that falls into the line above about it being up to the player community on the server and what they feel is right to use.

honestly they pay a lot of attention to detail look at the items and the the other things they have done to the map to say they are lazy or don't care is foolish. i'm sure they'll fix it it might be that its not priority right now they say they'll be re-doing a lot of the old towns so they might wait till then to re do it just give them time.

its worth a visit just to see what work they've done, hell my buddy got a full modded mp5 from there its a good place to find supressors too.

yeah you'll want to wear you heavy armor till they add stamina and those new zeds then you'll throw that shit on the ground real quick. and there is no body armor in the world that makes you impervious to death and yes its a game and it would be stupid. when you mentioned it i instantly thought of COD and got pissed.

if you want a fantastic RP server with a great growing community give this server a shot i've had more fun on this server in a week than i have since i bought the game a year ago. hope to see you in the wasteland. kane pliskin

the topic title says it all everytime i get the jacket i get hit by one zed and its ruined including the things inside i don't get it a t-shirt can handle more hit than leather BS i say. i can wreck a motorcycle going 50 mph and not get road rash while wearing one of these but zed that have nothing but bare hands can destroy this jacket doesn't make sense. i know this is a pointless rant somewhat but i like to use it when i bandit plus you can kind of get your mad max on with it but now i don't bother because as soon as i put it on if a zed hits me i know its ruined instantly. i just hope they adjust it but its been in game for awhile and its been like that since it was put in game so i don't see it changing anytime soon

i turned mine off long ago because of payday 2 it was affected by it if that helps

yeah i agree it just sucks when you get your outfit together and your strutting through a town and bam instant bum status. hell atleast the bomber jacket is easy to find some what the comment on the m65 jacket that sucks those aren't easy to find sometimes. oh well never get attached to gear though sometimes its hard not to do.

i just started playing on a RP server called new dawn its awesome i've been waitng to RP since the game came out. so tired of the spawn loot kill repeat bullshit. now i can get immersed in stories that players create and have crazy player interactions. i play a bandit a role i usually don't play usually. i used my brains and did some old school holdups or we would snatch them up and try and get them to join us lol. the server i play on has factions that players can form as well as a character database on the website where you can look up different characters. theres no age limit that i know of theres a few child soldiers as i call them but they are cool they don't rage or get mad when you get the best of them. i honestly havn't heard of anyone KOS'n either folks die and you still gotta becareful but now its more of i don't want to get captured and interrogated or tortured. first time i've seen folks give a shit about there character more than gear. so RP yeah i love it yet i can't get into the super hardcore style where you can't OOC ever and pointless rules of engagement to stop KOS. we have nothing like that on the one i play on KOS is frowned upon but oh well get good people on a server and you don't need stupid convoluted rules. quality over quantity i always say. rant end

this game is something else no other game makes me feel emotions when interacting with players from anger to laughter to that adrenaline fueled handshaking voice trembling gunfights. out of those i never have felt bad killing usually because i have a reason most of the time. well i started playing on an RP server and i've got myself weaseled into a sort of hard line group. beat this poor kid down handcuffed and knocked him out a few times for talking crap about the leader of our group. i honestly felt bad i don't know why its a game its not real but i felt like a piece of shit maybe i'm not cut out to be the badguy anyone else have this happen i find it interesting and will push the envelope further just to see what other kind of RP fueled madness i can get myself into. sry for the rant i just never played another game besides MGS series that makes me feel things either good or bad. please share your stories of memorable moments that made you feel something be it good or bad i'm curious.

no one is friendly just some are more hostile than others. kind of cheeses me that the dudes gear wasn't ruined by that grenade it should have all been useless. nice vid that kind of playstyle isn't for me but it was some good action you think fast i have to say with the whole reacting to the dude that came for you.

first off no to shamblers i'm sure one day when mods are available there will be one to have shamblers so i'm sure one day they will exist. and i don't want to say headshots only or a mix or anything like that because we haven't seen there full potential yet the numbers aren't max and there AI is not complete. if they would make it headshots only or give admins the option that would be cool because once there in and at max you never know you might be glad you can kill them with a body shot because they are so nasty. plus they mentioned the doll mechanic where they wear what we wear so i expect them to wear the gorka helmet the ballistic vest and what other items they conjure up for us i can see it now a full Kevlar zed running full sprint at you and whats that he's got 5 more friends behind him hahahaha i can dream.

do you mean the dragon flies they kick ass and so do the leaves blowing in the wind. whats the problem i don't see them as annoying and this is a SIM its a survival sim. wait till disease and stamina get entered into the equation the tears of the death match style of players will feed me for days.

as long as there are no solder joints and the copper pipes are clean you would not go blind. what causes that is usually solder or a wield in the pipes turns the alcohol into methanol. great idea i think we should be able to make a still for fuel and for drinkin hell on RP servers it could be used as trade and if you really wanted some excitement rig it to blow then the shiner gets back and booooooom.
