nice vid you play like i do sir i don't like to use maps or wiki i like to play and make mistakes as well. i seen you used the trumpet i really fell in love with that gun when the loot was lacking its quite and is really good for looting towns when trying to stay stealthy. keep up the good work good vid.

i remeber a post by hicks stating that it wasn't because of the complaining it was because they ran into a serious bug and it needed a lot of work. i don't think they are like the devs of H1Z1 they listen to our feed back but they want the game to be challenging to. hell read the latest status report he pretty much says the game is gonna be brutal we just have to have some patience and i'm a guy who loved the lack of loot absolutely loved it and i was playing on a private hive by the way and i had plenty of gear i wonder if it was some private hives that were fucked but not all hell i suicide when a new update is released just to see how hard it is on a new spawn and i am still on the same character though i don't pew pew unless i have to. hell i'll bandit if things get to hard to find i just don't see the motivation to rob folks when i want for nothing right now.

one other dynamic event i thought would be cool or server event whatever terminology you want to use would be to have a power station that the players could get fixed and working and would power the street lights and such in the towns. of course you would have to find the proper tools and parts and the power sation would create a lot of noise so hordes of zeds would show up as well as be there when you first arrive point being that you would have to have multiple players on to keep it going and to defend it. things like this i could see in the future or at least i hope to see i think things like this could keep the players occupied as well as change the servers dynamically like fighting in elektro at night without lights would give you alot of hiding spots in the shadows and what not then the lights suddenly come on and your right under a street light lit up like a christmas tree oh shit gunfire starts coming your way followed by the 6 zeds that spot you.

i was hoping the train could be used eventually but i was hoping it would have to be repaired and maintained by players like a mobile base it could have storage and places to chill maybe the windows could be boarded up etc(no fucking mounted guns). i could see folks fighting for this and coming up with plans to stop it maybe we could build roadblocks use explosives to not derail(don't think they would want to code the physics involved)but damage the engine lose some wheels which you would have to repair. maybe it could even have a place to put a truck or land a small heli. of course this thing would be a bullseye and you would always get attacked for the most part but eh it would create a lot of interaction and crazy battles.

whos cares about twitch streamers no game should revolve itself around those twits anyway. and the dev need to stick with adding stamina and the features they had planned i love these new cats that come in here blabbing about changes SURVIVAL changes to be exact and want to make the game like goddamn H1 go play that if you wanna run super fast and find tons of ammo to pew pew i'm sorry i'm coming off as a dick but you new guys always say the same shit. i've been playing this game since forever and any feature they add that breaks the game they always get working top notch in the end. what you need is some patience and i guess i should take my own opinion and have patience with you new cats too so we'll see. and as for losing players i don't see it this game has been pout for awhile so i could see folks taking a break i do from time to time as who wants to get totally burned out when the games not even finished and i don't care for the easy mode loot i'm personally waiting for the game to get more difficult and that is gonna mainly come from central lott economy and stamina along with the new zed AI.

if you look in the status reports they mention that barrel is gonna allow us to dye leather as well as clothing.

yeah i normally try and stealth and not be seen by zeds but was wanting to just go kill some for fun. thx for the info i didn't think of that the clipping into buildings and such and i as well do not care for the damaged to pristine repair i think it kill some of the motivation to search for rare loot. I have buddies that will search and search for that piece of pristine gear i for one will wear worn with pride though i think it kills some of the motivation to find pristine stuff when you can just find a badly damaged shirt and bingo pristine, i was thinking it was a bug it would make sense if we had a sewing machine maybe the white piano house looking factory could be turned into a textile factory and have sewing machines we could use maybe we could even customize things or reinforce clothing make it last longer just an idea kinda thought of it when they gave us the report about the maintenance building they are adding be nice if they added more community buildings where you can upgrade or fix things and would require you to go to a special building to do so.

yeah thank cthullu that the devs don't listen to the community about fixing stuff coughs H1 coughs. hence why this game when finished will be the most badass game ever made well in my opinion it will.

be nice if eventually we could get a meat grinder once we get the base building stuff in and if we kill a cow actually grind the bastard up and can him for later it would be a good way to get up food stores and not have to worry about spoilage. hopefully we can pickle veggies too and make beer too.

i played for an hour and the magic was gone we had a decent camp going with some folks i met at random we all were helping each other get food ammo and gas in the truck now eveyone will probably kill each other because there's no need to team because there's no struggle. oh well here's hoping its back in .56

9mm was not rare i had 5-6 mp5 mags and i had 2 boxes of .45 ammo and a lot of 5.45 and 7.62 both variants mosin and sks. you had to look for it and if you knew where to look it wasn't super hard to find.

after the fix last night nothing is rare i found more ammo than i need. go into a house and theres enough food to feed the entire server go to airfield there 3-4 ak's and mags. ugh back to the same ol' easy mode. i played for an hour and got geared up to the max when before i was really having to look everywhere and manage my food and ammo now it doesn't matter i can eat all my food and just go to a house and get restocked before it was i had to use what gun i found now i have the option to use what i want because there are so many guns and the ammo is plentiful it like chenarus became walmart again all you need and more.

big boss would never use scripts change your avatar its insulting to his memory only the true badass should have that not someone that scripts not hating on you but really big boss should never be associated with cheating or being a pussy.

its for casuals too i think i have a job i work shitloads of hours per week as well sometimes i just get on and search the town near my base or do alittle farming get my crops and store them for when i have a day off to play for a long period of time then i got supplies and food and ammo for a long play session because i've squirreled it all away for that day you should give that strategy a shot maybe it might work for you hell you don't even need a tent use a mountain pack or something to stash stuff.

to OP some folks don't metagame yes i know its hard to believe but some folks don't alt-tab or use there phone to find where they are some like to play the game and use the maps in game. as for no loot on the coast there is loot i found a tent and stuff in the first 10 min or so i spawned. and as for more killing and cannibalism i don't see that happening as folks are more split up if you set on the coast pre patch then you would run into so many folks and usually they were doing stupid shit like making fart noises or wearing no pants while screaming curse words which to me ruined immersion and made the game childish. now as of .55 i have explored more of the map then i ever have i find myself going to towns i haven't explored and getting lost and its great to have to roam around and find stuff i need instead of going to a set number of cities to get endgame stuff or my definition of endgame at least. SA i think should no longer be compared to the mod it makes no sense anymore to comapare the 2 they are 2 totally different games now the sooner folks leave the mod had this or the mod did that or i have billions of hours in the mod and it was like this at the door step the sooner folks might actually start having fun and just go with the flow.

this status report was what i needed to read thank you dev team for clearing some things up and letting me know dayz will always be a brutal survival game

i hope to see a level of crafting when it comes to cooking as complex as project zomboid the amount of food items you can make in that game are incredible and it would fit perfectly in this game as well. also in zomboid you can poison food which would be cool its not totally hidden so if your observant you know its been poisoned. i also hope farming becomes a big way to get most fresh foods that are healthy i think eating garbage such as sodas and energy drinks and bacon should eventually have negative side effects such as it might give you increased stamina but in the long run can hurt it or cause a debuff because your unhealthy or as in the case of energy drinks you build a tolerance to the active effects. guys that grow there food and hunt animals should be the most healthy why guys who eat the old ass dented canned food should have to deal with possible botulism or food poisoning and in the long run not be as healthy or have as much stamina.

really you do that you can't hit things unless you draw on your screen that's sad bro. I remember folks doing that in COD to quick scope do you do that too i sound hateful and i apologize i really just find it weird the length folks go to supposedly get an edge or be good at a game that you can't ever win. ican't wait to tell my buddies this they'll get a good laugh and face palm.

i'd go for that anything that makes the game harder or more authentic is a plus in my book

i do not miss that dot at all i absolutely love the new icons for hip fire and picking stuff up. can't wait to see the UI changes. the game is changing some are drastic folks will have to change playstyles and adapt to new things its an exciting time to be playing. this update for me atleast is one i have been waiting on for a long time forced persistence and stealth once both of these things get fixed and adjusted this game is gonna be solid gold. i for one am sick of the whole this house spawns this crap i like having to search everywhere and having luck be a deciding factor on what you find as it would be a factor in a RL scenario.
