am i the only person that wants an M16 or Ar-15. why all these sniper rifles or hunting rifles if you want to be fancy. i'm all for them adding whatever honestly add the lapua or a PSG-1 but for the love of what god you choose add a m-16 or AR variant i don't care.

if we have to go with less zeds to have more better functioning zeds in the end then hell yeah lets get to it.

hell why not, if you were sick it would be a great way to get the last laugh or spread disease.....except for bastards wearing gorka face masks or some of the other precautionary loot.

yeah i'm on a vanilla server and i do see what you say. i'll keep your server on my list as i do play epoch and sometimes just wanna get nuts thx for the heads up.

i found another server and thx for the answers i just didn't think it was possible for an admin to do this oh well new server found more fun on the way.

hence why you set it up fair for everyone like 3 hours of day 1 hour of night or 2 hours of day 2 hours of night or something of that nature.

i like the night time to was funny got a server me and a friend did we made sure it had night time well because we like it and felt like it would be a good thing. all the players were always asking can you make it day time? NO i can not sry. i agree OP there aren't to many that have night time maybe the new render will change that maybe night time will look better hence folks will want to play it time will tell.

i wish it was like the game frozen state when it comes to cold weather to the point if your not equipped and inside at night you risk a very quick death. or i can wait for namalsk to be added in the future to get my frozen wasteland fix.

indeed OP the game is what you make of it. not to be repetitive but the game and the zeds we all know well are gonna be different they are getting better hell compare them to when all this started in the end they are gonna be a problem if not now i haven't played experimental but till then meaning full version sometimes we have to make our own fun drama madness and murder.

i am one who kill himself when i get full geared the reason i do that is mainly because my favorite part is the struggle and i like to loot. you should try to find an RP server OP i think that you would find it a lot of fun. point being is there's always stuff to do that way meet people help folks hunt down scumbags but there's also something else about RP you can start a store a farm even your own colony in a town if you were so inclined. what you have mentioned is the reason i see CLE being a must once loot gets more rare and once vehicles really come into play such as maintenance and the work to get running you'll have your hands full of things to do in no time not to mention the weapons customization that's coming so you could trade custom weapons if your lucky at getting parts and such. so what am i getting at the game to me is has as many possibilities as your imagination that's the beauty of it i think then again you could do like me and suicide and start the madness over again lol.

yeah i hadn't played on a vanilla server in forever a lot has changed i mean a lot. medical stuff is harder to find which is great and the blood test that blew me away wish that was in standalone. still figuring things out again like a different game now at least to me any way.

simply because its not crap IMO, you should give it a shot find a vanilla server and welcome death with open arms its a blast.

played some vanilla mod last night with a few folks that have only played SA and a few vets who havn't played it in months like me. I have to say its changed it runs like a top and looks better and is a lot more difficult i love it the zeds are unforgiving weapons aren't everywhere though not to hard to find and we were always hurt or suffering it took all 5 of us working together to get geared a little. we got lucky and found a car which we fixed and now have a camp it was funny the new folks kept running to buildings in SA and werew like the doors will not open hahaha i was like you can't go in that building haha stuff like that made my day but everyone had fun and are going to keep playing till SA updates or till we get bored which i don't think will happen anytime soon.

what you find fun and what others finds fun is different i like surviving off the land i like the farming mechanics i like the hunting and the animals i love that this game is getting brutal yes the games has bugs and you are playing EXPERIMENTAL maybe wait for stable. in stable i have never starved to death ever not even when folks were saying there's no loot or food i'm no badass at all either i die more to asshat murderers then actual starvation or the elements. and i never suicide unless i'm at end game or its a new patch. suicide to get north ugh i thought i would enjoy the tears of the weak but its just sad. goodluck maybe your corpse will feed other survivors on there adventures

has anyone tested a suppressor to see if it aggros any zeds just curious i figure they are rare if anyone does get to test one post plz.

i hope so too i hope CLE stops this kind of tom foolery. and the way the dev's are talking we may be rewarded with rare loot which will be awesome gonna go places i never do and to me thats the best part about the new loot system search everywhere

the long horn is one of my fav's my favorite setup right now is the pump shotgun and the long horn.

yeah if its a lootxplosion i understand moving loot to see or to get whats under all the different stuff and that is fine thats normal and hell thats what you would do in RL move the shit outta the way, what i think OP means is loot cycling.

loots not even rare why do folks do that shit it reminds me of the old mod days when dudes would go to the mil areas and do that stuff to farm guns and shit at barracks and sometimes it would break the spawns till reset. what are these loot farmers gonna think/do when the central economy is added and shit get more rare. hell to looting scavenging is the best part of the game besides player interaction and fear.

wait till the weapons building is finished the one where we can modify weapons and i'm sure you'll be able to do all sorts of things to weapons though i imagine it'll take tools and certain parts or at least i hope it does. and i'm sure folks will be around those buildings to take your one off mosin lol. i'm pumped to put a scope on that winchester myself get the autumn hunting jacket and pants and i'm happy as hell.

i would research and look at both titles i think they both have there own strengths and weaknesses just depends on what kind of experience your looking for the best thing about the mod is all the different maps and versions of the mod though some don't exist anymore. i would make your own decision that way your not pissed if one of them isn't for you so to speak.
