I know I'm probably the only person in the entire 800,000 strong DayZ community to say this but....... I kinda like the UI/backpack/gear system. Everybody complains about it, but I think it's actually rather functional once you get used to it. Not a fan of those weapon-eating backpacks though :( Again, I'm probably the only person who likes the UI :P

Shoot the hacker? He probably already has invincibility anyway. Also, thunder dome doesn't seem too bad compared to the other hacks. From what I've seen, you can just log out. At least they don't insta-kill the whole server.

As far as I've seen, they just spawn randomly in forests. I might be wrong though. -
The team posting why the patch has been delayed won't bring the patch out any faster. All any of us can do is sit and wait, so hearing why the patch is late won't change anything for us. All it does is give the dev team another deadline to try to push out the patch in time, which will either result in the patch being very sloppy and making more bugs than it fixes, or if they take their time, the community will get all mad that their promised patch didn't show up on time. Bottom line: Patience, young padawans.

Sometimes enabling and then disabling your vsync will do the trick as well. It did for me last night anyway.

I would love to see Little Birds in DayZ. Something that a lone wolf player could repair, hide, and fly around by himself, without the need of a clan. Edit: Sorry for being off topic, the idea just kinda popped up into my mind :P -

I bet all his RAM and CPU usage is tied up. That comp wouldn't need a virus, it's probably slow as molasses regardless.

I wouldn't recommend it. Probably some hacker(s) screwing everything up. Unless you want to be turned into a cow or set on fire, stay away.

What people don't seem to realize is that DayZ's focus as a project has nothing to do with zombies. The project itself is to see how humans behave when they are in a back-against-the-wall survival type scenario. Calling it a "zombie game" will automatically leave you disappointed, as it will add the expectations to it that you would expect from games like Dead Island and L4D.

If I figured he was by himself, probably. But if I saw anything that would indicate that his clanmates were nearby or on their way, not a chance. Would be nice to have a friendly chat in DayZ for once. Swap stories, maybe do a little trading, then move along. More encounters like that would make the game far better, in my humble opinion of course.
