I'd say stay away from Elektro. I always loot what I can, book it out of town, and never come back. Also, you're gonna want more canteens. I try to keep around 3 on me. Check those deerstands as you work your way up north. You'll want something better for PVP than that Winchester when you reach the AF. Even if you don't encounter any players, you're going to have a zillion zombies to deal with up there. -
Negative, Ghost Rider. DayZ Commander shows the servers are fine to me.

I believe you can change it in the BattleEye settings. I'm not sure, I don't run a server, but i did have a friend adjust his so it doesn't kick me (I have bad ping as well).

There's tons of different graphical glitches right now. They are common at airfields and big cities (I get them in Berezino a lot). Sometimes adjusting the graphical setting will fix them.

I would love to be able to watch other people play the game, but it would destroy DayZ. Tons of morons would just watch people run to their camps and then join the server after the log-in delay was done and steal their stuff. It would be the end of camps.

The suppressed SMG you came across at the heli crash was probably a Bizon.

Would probably only be effective for tracking in cities, as on open ground items will usually disappear.

No, if this was realistic, hunting/gathering would be the main way that people would survive. Cities/towns would be completely barren after a matter of weeks. -
Looks good. I've love to have a Desert Eagle! *drools* It should be pretty rare and really loud though. But I think the Uzi has already been implemented as the PDW.

Better question. What good is it for me to give him painkillers, a blood-bag, and morphine only to have him shoot me in the face? Or, I can send downrange a single 5.56, take what he has, and go on my merry way. Tell me which one is more likely to be productive to my survival.

Yup. Part of DayZ is just seeing who can find the most ridiculous way to die. Last night, I disconnected and re spawned in a truck, which of course broke my legs, knocked me out caused shaking as well as taking me down to 4k blood. If not for my clan mates being there to back me up after my n00b mistake, I probably wouldn't have made it.

There's some benchmarks in the scenarios that will tell you your FPS. But for real-time FPS in DayZ, you will need a something like fraps. -
