Don't get discouraged. Yes, zombies are pretty good at noticing you, but if you keep playing you will learn how they operate and will be able to avoid them. One bit of advice, never move if a zombie is facing your direction. Zombies will only see you if they are facing you, so do not move until they turn away. Also, when in doubt, crawl. -

They usually have the hive name in the server name. Ex: John Doe Server Daylight 24/7 Herp Derp Hive will have your location and gear transfer over to any other server that has "Herp Derp Hive" in its name. -
I don't have an OA folder, since I didn't use Steam. Everything is under C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2

Similar problem here bro. My friend tells me I'm getting kicked for a wrong signature for something like rocks2.pbo, or some crap like that. But i get the same message as you. After looking at the forums, this is a very old problem that people have been having since this summer, but now it has just started messing with me and i've been playing since May. I don't know what to do :(

No, it's been suggested before and is usually shot down, mainly because this is one of the few games out there that isn't a funnel through a story were the player has no freedom to make his own mark. Interactions with other people are what make this game interesting, and AI squads and more scripted events will diminish that. Also, are you familiar with Arma's AI? From my experience, it's not built for DayZ at all. They are usually either oblivious to the world around them, or they are the opposite, and can hit you with a head shot from 700m away without taking time to aim. They are really annoying.

Hmmm. I've used them in RL, and I could see their effectiveness in DayZ. That said, their spawns should be rare, and they should take up your slot for your backpack. So if you choose to take it, it's gonna be a big decision. But I like the idea, they would be a great place for a sentry to guard his camp from.

Yeah, never log out in a city. Find a pine tree or something to dive under. And yeah, you can scout a place for however long you want, but the truth is, you have about a 50/50 chance that there is a sniper watching that spot or some one is going to try to loot it also. You just have to be careful and plan ahead for the mission. Figure out what you need, and if you have a tent, drop off any valuable gear you don't need and don't want to lose before you begin the op.

I support this. However, little to no info on the bandit that killed you should show up. it should be nothing more than "You Were Killed by a Bandit" or "You Were Killed by a Zombie" or "You Were Killed by A Door" :P

Thanks for noticing my complaint. The first time I was thrown off of the building roof I was on the top of a school, next to the ladder. I do not know my location. It was one of those places with a grocery and a hospital, but it wasn't Vorkuta (perhaps it was the "Old Hospital" location north west of Tara Harbor?). The second time was one of the industrial buildings in Vorkuta, the ones that have several stories to them with multiple entrances and I think they have blue tarps on the sides.

Twice now I've been thrown off of buildings. First time was lethal and I was on the roof. Second time I was thrown through a wall but survived with only a broken leg and some blood loss. Seems like a Namalsk issue to me, as I've never encountered this problem in any other map.

Caves sound awesome! I'm amazed I hadn't thought of such a simple suggestion before, but that really is pretty awesome. They would be the perfect place to set up camp. Easy to defend and would provide shelter from the elements. Bean worthy suggestion my friend.

Sad to hear. However, a piece of advice. You know that rule, never get attached to your gear? That rule applies x10 for vehicles. They never last long. They are too easy to steal and too easy to blow up. You're gonna have to deal with the fact that you're not going to be able to enjoy them for very long. -
