  1. Awesome thanks for the response, kinda bouncing off the walls wondering what's going on! The Epoch 1.0.1.0 update did take inordinatly longer than normal for DayzC, and DayzC usually takes 72 hours to populate (not the near-week that it took). Now that BloodyDayz server hosting is gone there is a giant opportunity for servers to host Epoch in all its current glory.
  2. 1. Your servers' arma is out of date by 2 patches. 2. Your servers' Epoch is out of date by several patches, Epoch is currently 1.0.1.1 and you guys still have 1.0.0.1
  3. Yea Kumando, that's not the point, I dont mind if zombies spawn in the middle of no where. 1. I dont understand why it wasnt listed in the patch notes. 2. I dont understand why the same amount of zombies as downtown cherno are spawning in the middle of nowhere. <--- Key point here Kumando. 3. I dont understand why zombies can bolt through tank traps, sandbags, and wirefences. So dont read it as a complaint, just wondering what the actual plan (if any) is.
  4. I dont mind zombies out in wilderness or clearing, but consistantly the same amount spawning as if you are downtown Cherno? That's what we are seeing. After about 5 minutes there are around 20-30 milling about in the middle of nowhere. So the rate and chance looks to be the same as when you're near a building (in fact more than the small buildings which only plop out 1).
  5. [sorry this on a private hive server, without any changes, vanilla dayz, no other mods] We now are experiencing zombies spawning literally thousands of kilometers away from any spawn locations. Working directly with the admin of the server as well, as far as we can tell, now whenever you are in a clearing (non-forest zoned area) zombies along with animals will spawn. We've started running around in the large open areas just near the edges of the debug plains and still have zombies spawning. We've run through forests and entered tiny clearings within those forests, and as soon as you enter the clearing (lets say a 90-50m area of clearing) 2 zombies will spawn. It's starting to look like the multiplier for number of players plus the addition is forcing zombies to spawn out in the middle of nowhere, nowhere near any spawn locations. As this wasn't listed in the update it appears to be a fluke.
  6. Yea, I have a laptop and I dont have a scroll lock button either. Even if I plug in a keyboard with a scroll lock button on it, the system doesn't recognize it and I dont get the Epeen Moniter. As mentioned in several posts, pick a key combo everyone can access please. Especially now that we can't see our kills anymore via the multiplayer scoreboard, I have no damned idea just what in the hey is going on. Would be a nice little feel good for myself after I hatchet 30 zombies chasing me to know how many I actually chopped.

    DayZ Mod 1.7.5.1 Update

    So many ppl are posting here how happy they are with changes, yet everyone I know can't actually get onto an updated server with the updates installed. First it says "something went wrong, disconnect and try again!" and soon after that it says "Loading character data. Please wait" but it gets stuck. http://dayzmod.com/f...ta-please-wait/ So what exactly is going on? If you roll back to 1.7.4.4 you can get on servers that havent updated yet just fine. However all the new updated servers, you just get stuck in the "loading character data". So what's the deal here? /// I apologize, I was able to find a server I could load into. It seems like all the customized servers are currently broken and they need to edit thier customizations to work with the new update.

  9. Yea we had been playing on it I think since last Friday, regular Chenarus not DayZ +. The server pop was low but it was steadily active. Then it restarted as usual and it no longer responds under DayZ. I dont know what dayz+ is. Well I do now just read about it, sounds like something I'm not interested in. Well Here's the two server's information, so I guess you guys just up and decided to change that server today (as it happened this morning): Server I was on literally at 5am PDT: 50.23.131.224:3255 DayZChernarus - (1.7.4.4/100296) [REGULAR CH:OFF][GMT+12] Private Hive - 100+vehicles fresh server Hosted By Free Beer | DayZ.ST 0 on 0/0 players Found this server after installing the DayZ+ mod: 173.208.242.146:2312 DayZ+ (v1.1.2/Beta 100296)100+ vehicles [regular|3DP:ON|CH:ON][GMT-12] The Free Beer Group - hosted by Vert Hosting 7 DayZ+ on Chernarus 2/40 players Either way like I've mentioned, everytime we get settled on a server it gets taken offline. DayZ+ sounds like alot of hassle and little reward, which is the very issue I currently have with all the server's being unstable as it is. Again thank you for the few days of joy I had. Was great. Oh well.
  10. Server rebooted at the usual 6 hours and has since never come back online. Really bummed this is the SECOND server that my crew of 10-12 people have moved onto that goes down in a few days after we get acclimated to, and the FOURTH in total of servers that I've tried starting on that vanish after a day or two of play. (99999 ping and never comes back). This was a great server with great, friendly people on it and as I am new to the game was really enjoying my experience. Frankly at this stage playing this mod seems to be more of a headache and not worth all the effort because; 1. Servers vanish and never return after you play on them for 3+ days 2. Servers that never go down are overrun with clans/teams of folks who dominate the landscape 3. The process of updating/staying up to date with the game, is a hassel as the available tools (playwith6 and dayzcommander) are shotty at best, unreliable half the time, and have a terrible gui. Anyway I hope the server admin is still alive and brings the server back up, otherwise I think I'm not going to bother anymore. Thanks for 3 days of fun however.
