Floxer your spot on with what you said people only rage about realism when they're at the receiving end of a .50 cal. If you get so worked up about getting killed by a sniper that you have to vent it on the forums then maybe DayZ isn't for you? Getting rid of the .50 is a dumbass idea from the start and just goes to show what nubs...much like Zombies...can do when you get a big enough horde of them worked up. Ruin the game for the rest of us.

Will Sniper Rifles be nerfed in the standalone?

Sniper rifles are fine and do take practice at range finding etc to master properly. If you've survived long enough to find one or killed a sniper then you deserve the right to nail stupid players who run across open fields or try to go for that shiny SUV. This topic seems to be a massive QQ. My advice? Slow down! If something looks too good to be true...chances are it is and there is a sniper already lining you up. -
When I first started to play Day Z me and my mate found a box full of weapons in the middle of electro, we started getting tooled up thinking 'I thought getting weapons was supposed to be hard in this game?!'. Anyway like a genie in a bloody lamp this guy appears out of nowhere so we light him up but he was using God mode or something. He then goes on this rather long sales pitch about his websites hacks that will give the same thing...a new CD key if you get banned. How do you fight that? Anyway we dropped the hacked kit and reported him but he's probably still out there!

This is the reason I never have large camps or leave vehicles anywhere near my tent. Good job though. I recently acquired five satchel charges so the next camp I find is gonna get it! -
[BSB] Network - UK/EU Mature Gaming Clan - Recruiting for SA & MOD

I'd just like to give the server and the BSB Network a big thumbs up from a random Lonewolf! I've been playing on there for two weeks now and I'm having a blast. The extended Cherno map is great and the whole faction concept adds something different to DayZ...though think twice about firing on them...it's like kicking a wasps nest! -
Just join a private hive where there are .50's to be had. I'm currently playing on a great private Hive run by the BSB Network and I've got two of them!

Why? I enjoy hunting down other asshole bandits, the other day I had to listen to this asshole trick bambis into meeting up with him with the promise of gear over side chat. He got three or four before I tracked him down (A hunt of around 8k) and dropped him. I generally leave bambi survivors alone unless I need food/water/ammo/weapons or they pose a threat. So I guess I'm an anti bandit? :P

Missed the boat? I think he's doing the right thing by taking his time with the development of SA. I'd like to think he's taken note of the complete failure of the 'Turd Z' and doing his utmost to avoid similar pit falls.
