I cant help but put a comment up here, So many of you people expect way too much for very little. Up until recently I had several servers, with DayZ.ST., I got my first server with them way back last August and it remained the whole time I was with em, and purchased extra servers as the demand required it, closed em on the same basis too. Now in my experience when DayZ.ST started out customer service was better than any other host I had tried, but as they got bigger, customer service started to fall in the ass and I would now rate customer service as absolute rubbish. As for the servers and access I would still regard this as one of the best, and the bigger the reputation, of coarse the bigger number of attacks, thats just the mentality of the tossers out there who find it fun to wreck everyones day, be a shame if they put their skills to good use and made some real money from em, but no that would mean getting a real life and getting a routine instead of government handouts and sleeping in, anyways back to the point, My servers were moved from San Jose to LA due to attacks and once the servers came up never suffered any real downtime at all, (DeSync did however become an issue, Not sure if they got to the bottom of that yet or not), The only reason I left was due to major lake of players due to, (again Tossers), Hackers destroying everyones interest in DayZ. Maybe when standalone comes out if I decide to host again and DayZ.ST can offer it I will get a server form them, Here's hoping by then they have fixed "Customer Support". So Ratings: Customer Service - 1.5 out of 10 :| Servers and options - 8 out of 10 :)

yea my service was all fairly good until I cancelled my subscription due to lack of players, (thanx to hackers destroying the game). now they cut my service early and fail to answer any of my contact attempts, including emails. I am quite stunned with this to say the least.

WTF ARE YOU GUYS DOING, WHY IS MY SERVER SHUT DOWN, IT STILL HAD TILL THE 12TH OF THIS MONTH AND IF WE GO BACK TO ORIGINAL PAYMENTS IT WOULD HAVE BEEN DUE ON THE 7TH. NOT BEFORE, BUT YOU GUYS CLOSED IT SOMETIME OVER THE LAST 2 DAYS AND PASSED MY IP TO SOMEONE ELSE, NOT FUCKING GOOD ENOUGH, I PAID FOR THE SERVICE AND YOU TOOK IT AWAY WITHOUT REASON. IF THIS IS THE SORT OF SERVICE I GET AFTER MY CUSTOM SINCE ALMOST BACK TO WHEN YOU OPENED AND SERVERAL SERVERS AND WHEN YOU HAD A FUCK UP SHIFTING FROM SAN HOSE YOU OFFERED A REFUND FOR DOWNTIME AND I REJECTED IN GOOD FAITH BUT NOT FOR JUST ONE SERVER BUT 2, THEN FFS THERE IS NO THOUGHT FOR THE CUSTOMER AT ALL, BEST FIX IT I THINK.

Thanx for the answer, was just wondering as some of the mods I am testing in my mission PBO are Reality based. all previous mods have been done based on bliss.One last thing, is the deployables saving or still buggy?

Are dayz.st servers still running standard bliss or are they now reality like some other people on other forums are saying?

If you read my wording properly I said just for shits and giggles - and too large a massive 8kb was a sarcastic comment as I already knew they are not allowed. Mate I have been running and modding DayZ servers for almost 8 months now so dont type explinations at me as if I'm dumb. take note of the post next time.

no it does not, roll your map over to another then back again, but when you start it lock it, then log in and guess what, it still happens, it has nothing to do with hackers, its a bug.

Mate you are full of yourself, I have been with ST since way back when they only had two locations, so over six months, and yes there are some bad days but nothing like your trying to say.If they were so bad and HFB was so cheap why the hell did you change in the first place?

In regards to your Whitelister problems I went to the link DayZ.ST sent you and followed the instructions and set the Whitelister up and it works for me, however if you are unsure how to create tables in bliss the link also lists a couple of other options for whitelisters-Gotcha- I found this to full of bugs, laggy and unreliable And DaRt's Whitelister- Works Very Well once configured and set up. Next time stop and think how busy these guys are and be reasonable, there is no need to carry on like this, try and get the options you get with .ST with another host for the same coin. Back to the Bliss one however, ( and this one is for DayZ.ST Admin)- I wanted to use this one in hope that if my computer goes down that the whitelister would still be active- it is in some part, but does not seem to kick, so I decided to try the website set up for it and found that there are very little to no instructions, Being new to attempting a console upload/setup on a website is there any other way/place I may get such a guide?

To be quite honest I am not too worried this time, my servers are running and we have bonus DDoS protection, If it all works well you can keep the refunds for my servers. On another note i did notice that not all items on the 1.7.5.1 Chernarus update have been added to the loadout editor, Backpacks are all different sizes now and there are 3 new additions, non of which is in the editor and I also found the the M240 found in the game, (M240_DZ) does not match the one in the loadout editor, (M240), so if you open the editor to change something and click save you lose the items. So far this is all I have noticed.

All servers are different, is it running a bliss database, etc?. If it is an DayZ.ST server ask them. One other thing, I am now blocking you on here and changing my account. Good Luck and Goodbye.

Since all these events taking place we have had several more attacks of the same description come in but all have been foiled so far and now our servers are Whitelisted as a result but that has not stopped the attacks on the website, We had some investigations done and found that all the attacks ran form the same Source IP via a VPN and onto our servers and website. the following are the linked Aliases to date.yourawsomebro J-dub_jkg Josh W Kings101 JB Bilby125 I would post the souce IP but due to privacy reasons I cannot post this publicly. Yep, One of mine has done the same thing, tried changing it to DayZ+, clicked save changes and restart and now it's dead, the control panel is there but the Stop, Start, Retsart buttons are all greyed out and nothing I do works.Tried the same on my other server to see what may happen and it is fine. Dead Server: 50.23.113.232:3136 Working Server: 50.23.65.14:3306 Got me Buggered How One Failed And One Worked Been down for about 4 hours now.

:lol: Lol, point taken for the COD players, and this game was never designed as a FPS, It's a MMO and there is a big difference between the two. So for the MMO players out there who couldn't give two stuff's about player kill scores and like a challenge then this mod is not that bad at all, so take the time to go check it out, and another feature is you can collect your scrape steel, sandbags, woodpiles etc. to build ladders, dearstands, watch towers etc., so it is a bit more than less weapons, nastier zombies and more trash loot. ;)

ok got 197m/s off that, a margin higher than San Jose but no where near as bad as the LA servers I pinged b4.Thanx for reply and the Information.

Great news about the DDos Protection but by moving my servers to LA will increase my ping by over 80m/s, I join from Australia and apparently Singapore is better for us however my ping is more than double that of San Jose. And Yes I have been via my carrier and had my connection re-routed in attempt to try and rectify this but it does not get any better and I am not alone, are we going to get any other better options?
