Silliest excuse for an Admin Ban.

Amen brotha! Too amny people jump into an admin role without even thinking of the responsibilities that come with it. Personally, if I suspect a person is hacking, I always spectate them ingame, check their gear, watch the logs, and then if that presents reasonable suspicion, I'll turn on my handy little God-mode tool, TP to them, and talk to them over direct. Every four out of five times, it is usually a misunderstanding, I tell them to have fun, apologize, and be on my way.

Silliest excuse for an Admin Ban.

Don't see what is wrong with spawn killing. On the server I run, spawn killing is rampant, but not bannable nor kickable. I can honestly say I participate every once in awhile ;) I however, do not see it as 'killing bambis' or cheap play... I see it as motivation. You always see all these people attempting to gear up in Cherno or Elektro, they spawn, run there, stay there for a few hours, and then complain about how they are either killed or how they cannot find any loot. So we motivate them to go up north. Our server, is very fast paced, and PvP is a main concept. I just don't see why all these people can complain about spawn killing. Everyone acts liek they don't constantly do it themselves. You know you're all guilty >_<
  3. I admin a fairly popular Non-Whitelisted Private Hive, and I thought about adding new weapons to the loot tables. Specifically the Mk 16 CQC and Mk 17 CCO, for a little more variety when it comes to weapons. However, I do no coding or adjustments to the server whatsoever, and am clueless on how to do it. The owner does most of it. So, I just need to know how he would go about editing the tables, and with what, aka: the coding for the Mk 16 CQC and Mk 17 CCO. Help greatly appreciated!

Adding OA Weapons to Military loot tables?

Just asking for the coding, nothing more. LolNot much different than an FN FAL or M14 AIM. Would be rare. Thanks.
  5. Uh-oh, watch out. He has two posts now.You can't really contribute to to a pointless and already disproved case.

    Lack of vanilla

I am in a group (as clearly depicted in my profile image) and I don't play in that nonsense manner. My group plays everything from Vanilla to Custom, we don't mind going on foot for miles, but a vehicle does make things easier you know. After all, they are in the game for a reason.

DayZ in a way, has ruined gaming for me!

Lol, the same thing was bugging the shit out of me while I was playing CoD (yuck), Halo 4, and RE6. I had wayyyy too few buttons to work with... as opposed to the fifty plus you use in DayZ. Before I went to sleep last night (just woke up hehe), I busted out my old PS2 and played some Ace Combat 4, a game I know I will never get tired of, and I thankfully enjoyed the shit out of it before falling asleep.I think the problem lies in games that involve... well... guns. CoD is very un-realistic, playing off its graphics and blind fan-base to sell. Halo is more of what you could call 'realistic' because it is set in a futuristic setting... and well shit, nobody knows just what the fuck is gonna happen then, but even then, the health systems bother me, sniping is annoying because I always subtly find myself trying to account for bullet drop (lol), and particularly not being able to look around myself. Don't even get me started on RE6... so many errors in that game. I find that multiplayer in games with FPS style PvP play are probably not going to work for me anymore, but games with an endgame storyline are still quite interesting. I'm excited to play GoW: Ascension, mainly because of the work they did on that trailer. They get the :beans: :beans: for that one. RTS and MMOs are still in too! Sucks that I don't actually own any modern consoles, because renting a game for the PC?... <--- LOL I wish.

Zombie hugging is long and tiring.

Sometimes, when I know I'm gonna die. I stop drop and roll. Not because I can avoid incoming fire, but because safety is COOL. AI is confuzzling.

Why would you quote my post, and never respond to it?...In my reply, I offered no argument that stated that the ranges were different between the two. Yet still... you argue...

Seems more and more like you are really quite a pessimistic person that really doesn't want to accept several great points in this thread. All you seem to want to do is provide vague counter-points in attempt to argue. I will try to invoke a rational response once more... There is preference in the game. Weapons you do not like, others may love. Ex: I love the revolver over the M1911 because the iron sights on the M1911 I find hard to use. It's not that I cannot use them correctly, I just prefer the sights of the revolver. Thus, I am glad that the revolver is in game. Ex #2: The M9 I do prefer over the G17 because of, what? The iron sights. I dislike wide and bulky iron sights on guns. I am a proud owner of two Glock handguns IRL, one of which is a Glock 17 with custom iron sights. Drop the biased attitude.

    Gimp pistols

Variety....Better question is: Why not? How about we only have one version of weapon that uses STANGAG mags? Instead of the M16s, M4s, M249s, and L85s? Instead of the AKS-74u, and AKS-Kobra, how about just the AK-74? Those weapons exist IRL, and not everyone buys the same exact gun as one another... Where is the fun in that?

    Simple Squad Tactics

Just a simple tactic for those small clans that want to go full tactical like the big boys and try stuff out. Try this sometime. My squad usually hunts for choppers/vehicles and often tactically raid towns like Stary or Berezino, and occasionally Cherno and Elecktro. We have started bringing along a sniper with a DMR with 4 mags + a pile of flares and coyote bag loaded to the brink with food and drink for survivors, a M249 SAW heavy gunner with 2 mags 2 or 3 smokes to lay cover, and a bag full of blood bags and bandages for all that are still living, a M4A3 CCO or M16/M4 variant rifleman with at least 5 mags, an AK-74 rifleman with 4 mags and 3 smoke grenades, and an AKM rifleman with at least 4 mags and 1 or 2 M67 grenades. Before raid, we gather intel on who is in the city through side chat, and plan accordingly. We gather and distribute gear, and make sure each member is going to be set for what could possibly be a long raid (last minute goodbyes to family members, farewell intercourse with girlfriends or wife, and potty breaks :D ). We then all hop in our ural and head off. At around 900-1000m away, we hide the ural, scout the area for thieves, and debark. 200m out, sniper gives each member a food and drink, and everyone drinks and eats (most fun part with all the jokes being cracked and wiseasses being themselves) and we head out. Sniper sets up at least a 95% FOV on our squad, being able to pick out any person that could be a threat in the future, and snipe any from behind. Single man recons the streets and picks out possible locations of cover and the other two stay about 50-60m away behind buildings and fences in complete cover with the Heavy Gunner anywhere from 15-20m back, trailing them slowly while prone keeping an eye out behind for targets. All the while, the sniper relaying info over teamspeak about conditions, locations, and targets. If he sees any person coming from behind, he shoots to kill, and does use two. When someone is spotted by any member of the squad, the sniper immediately puts eyes around for more targets, and does this throughout the entire (possible) engagement. The entire squad sets up near each other, 2 Rm behind cover, 1 Rm providing small arms for the Heavy gunner, and Heavy gunner laying down needed suppressive fire. The target is given one chance over direct or any type of comm available to leave the entire city the opposite direction of the sniper, and the sniper will be informed to watch for this. If he does not comply or turns to fire, he is killed by a hail of gunfire. This tactic can be extremely fun when you come into contact with another group, organized or not. And when you get into a clan fight... forget about the time of your life, you'll be drooling for more DayZ by the time it is over. You'll find yourself throwing frags behind walls, popping smokes to prevent or aid escape. And you'll hear a million shots going past your face. Nothing beats the rewards. Loot gets distributed, stories get told, screenies get places on desktops. What you really get out of it, is a tighter unit, a fun ass freaking day, and more faith in your fellow human being when it all comes together. See y'all in Chernarus! B)

    AA-12 in dayz?

Yes, depending on the state and how much money you have to throw at it. Transfer fees, special stamps, and taxes will all be levied. Also, the only way to legally purchase one is through a Class III FFL.

    AA-12 in dayz?

The AA-12 is quite light, easy to take apart, and a death machine.I can be used for door breaching, Riot control, and clearing buildings from the outside or inside. It has little to no recoil, can be taken apart in seconds, and is extremely durable. The uses are endless. This is coming from someone that has handled one at the range before. A semi-auto version though, no full auto :(

    AA-12 in dayz?

The AA-12 is a real weapon... Idk why you compare non-existent things to something that does exist.I vote yes, some fail to realize that the weapon could be adjusted to be less OP. Plus, if you are going by things being OP, well... I don't think OP exists in DayZ unless you are talking something like Thermal scoping. It is realistic, and I would love to see many many more weapons added to the SA.
