You have to do quite a bit of searching to find the correct spot in which you can take a drink. Even then it isn't advisable due to the risk of sickness. Last resort only.

Because they're fucking annoying and nobody wants to hear them anymore. The devs have given their answers to the issue and people seem to want to spam topics about it. You in particular really seem to be riding the mods. Why do you just leave the forums if you dislike it here so much? People don't seem to understand that even in games like Battlefield 4, Call of Duty Ghosts, and any other multiplayer game on the market, there are people that 'hack' the game. Hacking is never going to be fully gone, but the developers can highly reduce the amount of them. Constant bitching about it isn't gonna accomplish anything except causing everyone with any sense to laugh at you. Don't even compare the SA to the mod in terms of hacking, ever. That's just ignorance plain and simple.

{Stand alone} Spawn locations to tell you where you are when you spawn.

Same here. First thing you have to do when you spawn is look around and go "Hm, this part of the shore looks like I'm in ____" or "Where the fuck am I? I'm fucking lost.". If it were up to me, you'd spawn in the middle of the wilderness and have to run around to try and find your way to a road. This whole coast spawn stuff promotes running to Elektro and Cherno, because eventually you'll get there and people that have played the mod quite a bit can easily get there. Good luck doing that if you spawn in BFE. -
If you don't realize, most hills in DayZ aren't 70 degree angles and present a slope that any normal person could run up. You aren't going to go amazingly fast, and you're gonna be very tired when you reach the top, but you sure as hell aren't going to have to walk up them.

Unfortunately this. This is one of the features that I had hoped would have been changed from the mod to SA. Hopefully it will be changed in the future, allowing you to run uphill (at the cost of more energy of course).

Keep them there. Separate the men with balls from the idiotic noobs. Apparently nobody realizes that this is why the current loot system is a good thing. Loot doesn't respawn when people walk away, therefore no matter what kind of loot is on the coast, there aren't gonna be a million guns as a result. -
Silencer not working on M4 Standalone

One of the features I really hoped the would have fixed in the Standalone.............. *sigh*. A suppressor suppresses both regualr and sub-sonic ammo. Hopefully this will be changed otherwise I'll be really disappointed. -
My front and back doors both open inward facing the room. :P I still don't see how flying relates to this topic though..... :huh:

I agree with this one. I wish the doors opened inward instead of outward. How does that in any way relate to the logic of this situation? I.... I can't even comment on how ridiculous that post is.

In real life, a dead animal in a RIVER would not affect the quality of the water as it is running water. Even if it was a pond in a survival situation it's better to get your water from a source where there ARE signs of animal activity, even if they are dead. If animals don't gather around a water source and you don't see signs of them, it's a clue that a pond is not safe to drink from. I don't think there's any need to nerf the current system especially the way the current food and drink system is operating. All you'd need to do is boil the water before drinking, and I doubt that lakes and ponds in CHERNARUS have all that many pollutants or parasites in them, considering the cold environment.
