Honestly, what part of this game is practical? If you need something to be practical in DayZ I think you're better off playing a different game IMHO. The whole point of the game is to be unforgiving and inconvenient. Sitting there holding a single button for an hour and a half, getting a sore finger, is part of that inconvenience.

Well, it gives people an opportunity to go afk and still progress in the game. It also does technically speaking make the game easier by taking some of the effort that is required to play, out of the game. To be honest, it's just an unnecessary feature that probably won't be added. I don't think rocket or the dev team is ever going to focus on making the game more 'convenient' for people that don't wanna hold a button for awhile.

Anytime I die? I have gotten fairly good at living over the past year and a half. Dying has become pretty disappointing. I consider anything unexpected happening to be quite a luxury as of late. The game has gotten to be so predictable.

You must be one hardcore hipster, and not at all talking the talk. At OP. Why let your personality limit how you play a game? I play hero, bandit, and reclusive survivor. It all depends on what mood i'm in. Sometimes i'm stressed from the people I constantly deal with at work, and I feel like going apeshit. In that case I usually get on arma ii and hop in a armory server behind the stick of an AV8 and blow stuff away. I try to refrain from killing without reason on a DayZ server, unless I have an active grudge with another group of players... in which case I only kill that group.

Instead of using tools to spawn vehicles, actually add them to you're database and map manually using your server map and database. It's as simple as putting in coordinates and finding vehicle code names.

I'm 99% sure that any cars spawned using ingame tools (no matter what tool) will always disappear upon restart. The same thing applies to fixed vehicles a per the damage fixed (the damage fixed will be undone upon server restart).

There hasn't been anything announced yet. We don't even know if there will be "public hives" or "private hives.

What sort of punishments will be associated with such individuals trying to edit the server?
