This, is my story ; (*Note ; I'm french so please forgive my mistakes.) Day 1 : I woke up on the coast today, i was wet, shaking , it was cold , very cold, i could see the snow starting to fall... I did not remember who or where i was. Why was i here ? I had no clue... I saw a small green house in the distance , maybe they had a phone i could use. When i reached the house , there was no light , but the door was slightly opened. I went inside but found no one. I decided to look around for a telephone , none , great , just my luck. But i found some Whiskey , that'll do! Day 2 : Really dont know when i passed out because of the whiskey , but i sure as hell know when i woke up. It was the morning , but i would have never imagined being awaken by screams of people like those i've heard. I ran outside just to find an old man trying to get his wife away from 2 weird looking farmers , their skin was grey , almost like corpses in decay , they savagely started to assault the couple , i was unarmed , scared and did not know what to do... I did the only thing i could do... Run...as far as possible. Day 3 : Found a small village today , it's filled with people who have that weird grey skin, they keep walking around slowly , their eyes seems so empty What the hell is this shit !? I seen one run after a cat earlier , when it caught the cat , it devoured the poor cat alive... My body still makes me puke , but nothing is coming out... This...is...too much... I'll try to find a place to sleep... Day 4 : There was a tent on top of a small hill in the forest , 1 clicks away from that damn village. Im still trying to figure out what's happening out there, why is everyone like this and why cant i still remember who i am... I found some food,water,clothes and even a crossbow. Atleast i'm not dead yet and i might find a way away from here, there might be a military base somewhere, i bet the military is still kicking ass, they have to, i hope they do... Day 5 : Today i nearly got killed, a man named Mikhail found me. It was his supplies i had taken from the tent. After apologizing 27 times on my knees in front of the cannon of his M4A1, he finally decided to spare my life and asked me to join him, i prefered to say yes...for obvious reasons. We went back to his encampment to move it away , he felt like it wasnt safe so close to the coast afterall. He decied to go North , where the last known operational Army Base in this region. Maybe we could find help,shelter and a warm shower... It was worth the try. Day 6 : We found dead people, 4 of them... It was not those goddamn creatures who killed 'em... They were shot , but by who... I can clearly see that Mikhail is troubled by this , did he know them ? Does he know who did this ? God...one of them doesnt even seem to be 16 years old...I trully hope she wasnt raped... Damn the monster(s) that did this... No matter what i try to say , Mik stays silent...I'm not sure i should have accepted to follow him... Day 7 : After 12 hours of walk , we make camp in a forest about 2 click and a half away from the military base. We're getting close , finally we might get away from those damn creatures , we killed atleast 50 of them since we started walking towards the north. The worst , we're out of bullets , i have no more arrows. I fight with an Hatchet and Mik has his trustworthy Machete. But if we can make it to this base and if it's still operational ,we should be fine, we should be fine....we have to be fine. Day 8 : F***er, one of those goddamn f***er found our camp last night and he bit Mik , i bandaged him but he has a fever and we dont have any antibiotics,no morphine , we're out of all meds... I have to bring him with me , i need to drag him for 2 miles, i can do this... I WILL DO THIS! Day 9 : Managed to get us stuck in control tower , i barricaded the doors. Those bastards keeps on coming ! The base is filled with those zombified soldiers ! Atleast i found some antibiotics , i hope that will help Mik... But even if he makes it now we are stuck... Day 10 : Mikhail seems to be feeling better , he laughed when i told him the situation... I expected something else , but laughter , i dint hear anyone laugh for so long it felt...weird...but good...it felt human, something that wasnt common these past days. The zombies ignores the tower for now , but they are just walking around the airfield , endlessly , in hope some more fools will come around to get eaten. We will take back our strenght while we can , but our supplies are starting to run low. We need to move as soon as Mik is back on his feets. Day 11 : We spotted a light-armored vehicle at the far end of the runway. Tomorrow at dusk we will try to reach it. That MG on the roof has never looked sexier than now i must say. Mik is feeling good now...well as good as you can get after living trough what he went. We have one chance and we will take it. WE MUST TAKE IT ! Day 12 : Driving down the roads has never felt so good. Mikhail already spent half the ammo that was in the MG. But he sure did lower the number of bastards roaming wild in that Military Base. We managed to reach Berezino , where Mik used to live , he said his fishing boat should still be in his garage. Tomorrow we are going to check it out , for now , we're going to the hospital and general store, time to empty that MG and fill up our supplies. Day 13 : Bandits...raiders...i dont know how to call them... they came when we were loading the supplies on the boat...We were about to leave ... They started shooting at us , Mik got shot in the left shoulder , i did not want to abandon him , but he gave me his pistol , said to run, it would be better for me. I had to leave my friend , my only friend , my last friend , alone ... to die alone by the hands of monsters...monsters i consider almost worst than the Zed's... I...i...dont know what to write anymore... What could i have done ? What can i do... ? What could i do ? What should i do ? Day 15 : A car passed by on a road in the forest , 200 meters away from me. I think it's them...Or maybe not...Paranoia is growing with every step i make. Day 18 : Found a abandonned M.P. Hummer... Found 3 grenades, M16 ACOG and a box of ammo. Day 21 : I'm on top of a castle tower , i can see a big fire in the distance and alot of noise coming from there. They dont even care about being found... Day 23 : Their defences are weak , walls half built , some that seems to be about to fall at the next gust of wind. Only 3 guards at night. 1 South , 1 North , 1 walking from East to West and backward every 5 minutes. Day 24 : Going in tomorrow , it's them or me. Not point in living if these bastards breath the same air as me. Day 26 : The fire is still burning , i must be 2 clicks away and i still see the black smoke rising in the sky. I never thought bodies , tires and oil would burn for so long and so big. These f***ers deserved only that. I cant walk anymore , the pain is just too much. I lost too much blood. I'm going to sit under this tree. Aaahh the breeze , the sweet winter breeze ... it feels so good... But i still cant remember who i am. Ah ! Who could even care now , everyone is dead. My friend , R.I.P. Mikhail , we shall meet again. P.S. If anyone ever finds this know that atleast I died a hero...or so i wish i would have...
