One of my best and most memorable experiences was in the mod. I was nicely geared up as well as all sorts of physically f'd up. Screen was black & white blurry and pulsing. I couldn't see shit. I was stumbling around passing out everywhere, no idea where I was, seeing outlines of buildings in the distance as the light was fading, hoping I could find a can of beans or stumble across an animal and take it's flesh. To this day I can't figure out where I was that fateful Chernarus dusk. I died an awesomely slow death & lost all of my gear to the wilderness, fighting all the way to the end to SURVIVE. I wouldn't have had it any other way. Your actions should bring consequence. If they didn't it'd be boring. -
I 2nd that & tend to play somewhat rp style. I only really gather the type of stuff that would be in my RL neck of the woods instead of playing GI Zombie. Also pretty sure if there was an apocalypse and I saw someone running through the woods with a motor cycle helmet on they'd be the first I'd shoot.

Was scoping out Stary from the tree line south-west of Novy watching another player go through the military tents when a player starts chatting in sidechat telling some person to put their weapons down and come out of a tent. I quickly realized I was watching this unfold when I looked in the trees on the hill behind the military tents. There was a bandit with an as50 behind a tree. I had only minutes before stumbled on a crash site and managed to get myself a DMR. I was still quite a noob at this game but I had quickly learned that I disliked bandits :D I quick estimated the range on my map to be about 725-750 meters and with my first shot ever from a sniper rifle I managed to break the bandits leg. He began rolling on the ground trying to avoid being hit again. My noobness with the sniper rifle combined with the adrenaline that was flowing resulted in me taking 3 more shots to finish him off. I didn't even bother going over to loot him I let the person in the tents take his gear. I was happy enough I took him out.
