basicly you have two (1st and 3rd person) characters , so both have different save data.

assuming you know the difference btw dayz 1st or 3rd person servers, maybe you should try "Verify integrity of game cache" on Steam

now your op.system clean & fresh installed in your new hdd, and you are running it right? try to disconnect hard drives but the one op.system installed. Make sure you installed steam and Dayz in your new 1TB Hdd. same happened to me it is a bug. Items inside the tent becomes invisible after reset. And tent door state is becoming open(locked). If you put a 'new ' item in that tent whole items are getting visible again.

All my tents is gone too. "DayZ UK 4-087 Fragnet.Net". But I'm not sure if it was a server maintenance or a hacker activity.. because they were there 12hrs ago.. All your work suddenly disappears and it feels very bad. Waiting for confirmation or I'll try to contact admin to "find evidence" thing.

I don't know the details about the dynamic environment or sun calculation in dayz engine. just sick of searching matchbox.. what do you think?

and if It stays in your hands, that means you may also pick it up and change server..?

my pc in office have the same graphics card running DayZ pretty good. (yes I play DayZ at work, sometimes..) have you tried other game performances which has high graphics like dayz? or you should run a simple benchmark to compare result. (http://www.3dmark.com/) my suspicions here: 1. your operating system has buggs/crashed somehow. 2. your old hdd is about to die

Yes exactly. In my opinion, knowing that you have lots of features and options to choose that you haven't experianced yet is another thing makes this game attractive.
