Wow, talk about pathetic. People just need to accept that death is a part of the game. If you're gonna die, go down fighting at least, don't run and combat log, or in this case, kick the enemy just cause you can. People are pathetic. -

Sorry to say this, but once you die, it's gone, the only way to get it back is hope the server restarts in a couple seconds and sends you back to where your were moments ago. Also, if you just keep playing, and apply some basic navigational skills you'll be able to learn the map, in due time. Good luck out there, DayZ is tough to start, but once you get the hang of things it gets really fun, but it can be a chore. Oh, and welcome to DayZ! -

Longer distance vs close/medium distance. Weapons of the target. Preference :P Same ammo doesn't mean same capabilities.

Good luck with the server, but just a heads up, just because someone is 40+ years old doesn't mean they're mature, and just cause someone is young doesn't mean they're immature. Be careful on how you're gonna describe your intended playerbase.

Hey and welcome to the forums, sorry for the trouble. Be forewarned, I'm not the most reliable on this sort of stuff, but my best guess is your character profile might be corrupt. Go to your documents folder, find "DayZ Other Profiles" and if your name has a bunch of random letters, #s, or symbols it's most likely corrupted. Try deleting it (Make sure to have a backup one just incase Im waaay off here) and then getting on DayZ and joining a game. Keep in mind this is just a guess, and shouldn't be taken as a solid answer. I could be completely 100% off. -

Yeah, I'm still here, but sadly not as much as you might've noticed. I've become a staff on a Gmod server, and been busy with their forums and whatnot. Plus schoolwork to take care of, but I still try and get around xD -

Even if that's how you play, not a lot do. So again, yeah food is in abundance as of now, but this isn't even near the final product, this is all going to be changed later down the road when all the content is in and whatnot -
Ehhhh, I like it and I don't. Basically, fire, I just... in DayZ? I mean yeah, fires are cool, but... in DayZ? I just don't see how this is going to be managed, especially if I want to see a forest burn cx On the other hand... fire. Sounds awesome as fuck being able to burn someone alive. Maybe I'm just a little whacked.

Just a quick question, and don't hate if this seems obvious to you, but are you joining Private Shards, are you switching from Normal 3rdP to 1stP servers (Or vice versa), are you switching from Exp to Stable (Not as of now, but in the past when the builds were different)?

What official lore is saying that we all just washed up on shore? Pretty sure this is about player generated stuff, no official lore, it's mostly made up by the players, so hell, if I wanna say I woke up from a damned coma inside my living room and somehow survived all the zombies, I'll do it.
