Just some basic stuff to go over. -Open your volume settings (On your desktop, not in game) and open the mixer, then make sure the DayZ volume is at the appropriate level of what you want. -Check the volume settings in DayZ (Hopefully you've done this already) and make sure everything is set how you want (I recommend VOIP to be maxed out) -Make sure your speakers/headset isn't at fault (Double check and see that everything is plugged in properly, and test to see if they're just broken by using a pair of earbuds or something else lying around) I know this is all pretty basic, but it's all I can think of, I know sometimes I mess that first one up.

I want it back too ;-; Except I hope theirs an actual key to toggle a stance or whatever (Similar to pressing F2 to put your hands up) that raises your arm to eye level so you can see the physical watch, that'd be so great

I didn't even think about that xD But honestly I don't think people would mind that much if the limbs and whatnot just teleported into an animation of you getting back up. It's a small price to pay. -

Agreed, no questions asked. If I get knocked out, I'm not gonna be able to make sure I land the exact same every time, it just ain't right. And considering we already have the ragdoll, I don't see why this shouldn't be done. Just yesterday I got into a firefight and killed one of the people shooting at me when he was bandaging and I could tell right off the bat that he was dead because of the ragdoll, which while convenient, I don't like it considering I love challenges (Plus it let me react immediately to his partner whose gun I could see clipping through the fence while he peaked over in third person xD) -
Their was a map for the DayZ mod (I think it was Lingor) and on the far west side their was a little peninsula with a mansion on it. Nothing too great, but far nicer than the other houses, and we turned that little peninsula into our base. Barricaded the entire land bridge or whatever that connected it to the main island it was on besides one little opening we guarded for the most part, all that good stuff. It was lovely, and I'd gladly do it again here in the SA.

I doubt that the devs will be adding the option to freely paint like that, mainly due to the exact reason you said. People are just stupid at times, sadly.

Weren't people saying the game was running better than before just like yesterday though? Sorry if I'm wrong, I haven't played DayZ in a couple weeks. Oh and I did see a post about them having a conference or something with Intel, AMD, and Nvidia, so maybe we'll get better performance if they add more support. -
If you don't mind me asking, why did you buy a second copy of the game? (If it was to make more characters you can still have tons of separate characters by joining private shard servers, they have their own like character database or whatever it's called, that said if that were the reasoning, I would just get your refund back)

I think the plate carrier is a wonderful start, but yes, they should go much further with it, as long as I don't see 3/4 of the players I run into with 1000 pounds worth of gear on them because of it. (Just keep the stuff limited)

This is a trick question, for it isn't a tree at all. It's a picture of a virtual representation of a tree, not a tree itself :D Did I win? -
When you aim by holding down the right mouse button, it does hold the breath for a moment, it's just that it's set to the same key as aiming, so you have to be able to shoot fairly soon after aiming or else it doesn't help. It also isn't perfect, because let's be honest, just holding your breath doesn't solve all the problems like CoD wants us to believe (I hate myself for making a CoD reference, but it was just too perfect to pass up, forgive me) But yah, I wanna be able to lay my gun down on like fences and such to help with the sway. My character is a wimp and for some reason can't carry tons of pounds of gear and not hold the gun perfectly still, pff, weak *Sarcasm is intended*

You honestly just made the whole mannequin thing perfect with all the examples. I'm gonna need some land mines now. (Plus I wanna show off my wardrobe in style, my camp is gonna be creepy af but stylish none the less)

That's actually where I found my AK :p But all that was there was that, a couple vests, and a ton of Makarov mags

I cant even find military grade weapons of any kind, like at all :l (Unless you count like 2 days ago when I literally spawned on top of an AK74 and a ton of bullets for it, but that's just one time)

I actually really do like this idea. But of course they should add some ear protection to counter that, just to be fair.

The language was completely appropriate (Not being sarcastic) I hate people like that so goddamn much. -
Have it in a backpack and use it in emergency situations, or make sure you're cooled off enough to go out and use it. Get soaking wet in ponds to cool off. And the reason you lost it on restart is because (I think) persistence is disabled for now. (Not including vehicles)

From my experience, it'll just respawn completely brand new exactly where it was destroyed and left at. It even gets a whole new tank of gas. Kinda irritating, but hey, it'll get worked out sooner or later.
