    Bikes Confirmed = New Goal

I was gonna say something, but all this spectacular comments before me have summed up exactly what I might have said, if I remembered what that was. But my god, please do the tour de chernarus.

    Spread out spawnpoints across Chernarus.

I still tend to lean towards to coastal spawning, mainly due to how the loot is going to be set up (Once everything is done and dandy). I get that spreading people across the map would even out the populations of players everywhere, but it would also make it a lot easier for people to acquire the military loot of their dreams. If it was spread across the map, people would be a lot closer to the military camps, the airfields, etc. I believe that this would just in turn make the game into an even bigger firefight all the time, instead of centralizing it on the coast for the most part. Just my thoughts.

    Headset Suggestions Wanted!

Try out the Sades SA-708, it was I used when I first started out on PC, they're decent for the price. (It's around 10-15 USD)

    Backpack Wraps

It does sound helpful, but like said above, you shouldn't be able to have it all. It should be a tradeoff, either you want all that space for whatever you want to hold, or you can blend in more. I wouldn't want people running around with all that space and to be camouflaged. Even though you can do this in reality, their needs to be some balance.

The day I got shot in the head . . . and survived!

I'm congratulating you for surviving the gunshot and living with those god awful frames :l

    Reviving people!

The person who is killing would, because it would require more effort on their part to kill someone who should already be dead. You're right, it's a game. And if the revival time is long, their is no point, because the original point was to save people from having to run back, but if it takes long, you could just run back. Plus what about those people who don't have partners, why should they get such a huge disadvantage? If they aren't supposed to, fight it. Implement systems against it, not supporting it. (And if you think about it, this is already somewhat in game, just more logically, that being the unconscious state) Edit: Oh and I don't know what that foreign bit means, and I'm not gonna bother translating it :p

How about to make activity dependence on regeneration?

Well of course it would benefit when it comes to PvP, however, while I don't speak for the people, I presume they wouldn't like having to sit around for awhile just to heal.

    Reviving people!

The issue of someone dying and coming back to their body is an entirely different issue. Is it fun to run back to your corpse? No. Is it fun to wait for your dead partner? Nope. However the person who is doing the killing shouldn't be penalized because of someone who is greedy with their gear. When you kill someone, they're dead. If you die, you're dead. It's life, er, the absence their of. The game is intended to be brutal and unforgiving, it isn't designed to save us time, and it sure as hell isn't designed to save us from our own deaths. Also, when you die, you're not supposed to continue from where you last were, and your partners/friends shouldn't either. You move on, continue your journey, or start a new one. You're not supposed to return to grab your same loot again, that's the whole premise of perma death.

Save server performance, get rid of the books!

Excuse me, but I very much enjoy the books. I'm an avid reader, and the books in here are no exception. Plus, besides the obvious purpose of reading them, they're used as kindling for campfires.

How about to make activity dependence on regeneration?

While I do think it is far too easy to heal, I don't think just sitting still would be a solution, because people wouldn't enjoy that, like at all. If anything, it should just take longer than it currently does.

TIL that DayZ runs much smoother on Windows 10.

Well thanks for getting me even more impatient for Windows 10... jerk :p

How about to make activity dependence on regeneration?

I'm guessing you're talking about a stamina type regeneration here, so here goes my best guess... (In the future please give a more detailed explanation of what you mean. You could be speaking about blood regen, food, hydration, etc.) If I'm right, this is sort of, already in. Right now, if you're sprinting a lot, your character is really shaky, making it hard to aim down the sights of any gun, let alone one with any zoom. Your character can't sit still whatsoever. Walking and jogging help negate that effect, and sitting still is your best option.

    Reviving people!

Not too sure about this one. Especially when it comes to the cause of death. If you died from a gunshot, you're not coming back. If you died in an explosion, you're not coming back. Only in VERY VERY RARE cases should you be able to "bring someone back". Regarding the equipment necessary, well again, that's going to have to be based on the cause of death. A death from an illness and a death from blood loss are two different things, needing different treatments. The reviving process should take long, and yet again, depending on the cause of death. And a penalty? Well, maybe, but well, it's gotta fit the cause of death... I honestly don't see this fitting in a game that's supposed to be as authentic as possible, mainly due to the fact the majority of people are not going to be well practiced doctors, especially in the setting of Chernarus.

    Make doors default locked ;-)

I'd like to see a couple houses locked, but not all, mainly because in the case of an evacuation (Especially in a zombie apocalypse) not everyone is going to be worrying about locking their doors, they'd be more worried about avoiding the infection and whatnot.

    Zombie Hordes

Alright, thanks, looks like it really is broken, gonna fix that. c:

    NEW BOW!

    What bow? Link plz?

    Zombie Hordes

It's all good, wasn't trying to criticize or anything, just trying to give any helpful information and opinions c: I would recommend playing the Experimental patch, loads of fun right now. And getting a truck to start is an amazing feeling. Oh, quick question, kinda off topic, can you see the image in my signature?

A little bit of Cholera Chaos

Okay, so I don't have the time to watch this sadly, however, IS CHOLERA ACTUALLY IN???? And if so, IS IT IN THE PONDS???

    DayZ mod or StandAlone?

Personally I prefer the Standalone. Gameplay has been getting better fairly rapidly (In my opinion) recently, and while some people don't like the "lack of content" the SA has to offer, it is still very addicting if you're into the style of gameplay it offers. -The standalone has very very minimal "base building", in fact you can't build really, but tents, barrels, the V3S (The only current vehicle in DayZ SA), and Car Tents (I forgot the actual name xD) are in (The current stable patch; .57; has persistence off, but it's coming back in .58 if everything gets worked out). -Zombies can be few and far between at times, but at other times you can run into pretty well sized groups, the player interaction is lovely (Not meaning people are lovely, just the fun you get out of them), and all the things you can do are amazing. -The map is much much nicer, with nearly all buildings being enter-able, and practically a whole new region added in the north. -If you're into how your character looks, you have many more options than a bandit, hero, and survivor skin. Clothing is separated into tops, bottoms, shoes, hats, gloves, vests, etc. The mod has more content to offer as of now however, being that there are many many other mods to go along with DayZ, including new maps, skins, weapons, features, etc. All in all however, I recommend the SA, just due to the potential of it, and how the gameplay differs from the mod. Look up some videos of each for some unbiased information as well.

    Zombie Hordes

To start, they're not zombies, they're not undead, they're more along the lines of disease ridden people. Knowing this, you should be able to gather that no, they do not have any special abilities, no they aren't stronger than humans (In the general sense), and no, they aren't necessarily weaker either. The infected are not going to be slow (This has been discussed numerous times, and the running screaming infected we see today are here to stay for the most part), but their are intentions of having more, it's just a matter of performance. Their senses aren't anything special, if you can hear it, so can they. If you can see it, so can they. It's pretty straightforward, they have HUMAN senses, because that's pretty much what they are, just sick. Hordes are planned (I'm fairly certain), so theres where you win, however some of your suggestions I don't see being able to be added, just because of how DayZ is. Plus, finding dead survivors is just a matter of someone dying from them, that's not something the game would be able to generate on it's on. As for the off topic suggestions, well... -Nothing to say about the blood texture -Has been suggested, but I personally don't see it getting added -I THINK they're trying to find a solution -I, without any doubt in my mind, don't see this being added, because this game just isn't like that. We don't have indicators, we don't have special tech to enable us to see that, and the whole premise of DayZ is to be authentic. If anything, if someone shot off a round, has been attacked, or has had a gunshot go off within x meters away shouldn't be able to log off for a good 5 minutes, in my opinion. -Bases aren't even in game yet, so I don't see much to discuss about that -If you play on the servers that have the time sped up, it's already easy to play day and night. Playing on experimental, I've had 3 days and 2 nights in one go, no restarts. Playing on a private hive would be even better since you wouldn't have people switching servers to avoid the dark. -Private hives, they got ya covered. -I like that idea, their was actually a topic on that a little bit ago, but yah -Uhm, alrighty then, you enjoy your heads -That's planned -I would agree with that, except I personally would get annoyed seeing penises every time I go into a major city. If people were a little more mature, fine, but sadly most people aren't. -I like the idea, except a "Bandit only feature" doesn't make sense. The game doesn't have a humanity system as did the mod, and the game isn't going to force you to do something just for a trophy. The only time you're forced into something is when you want to say use a Saline or Blood bag IV, but that makes sense, cause I doubt you can do that on your own in reality. Also, I would love a journal of sorts in the game, that keeps that characters "stats" and such (Drawing tally marks for however many people you killed, having photos of where you've been, maybe even having an IG camera to take them, etc.)

    What time is it ?

I've been playing SA since release, and of course the mod before that, and correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't the bells even in the mod? (I might be wrong on that one)
  23. Conrad_The_Comrade

    What time is it ?

Nah, that's been in for as long as I can remember.
  24. Conrad_The_Comrade

    Zombies can bleed

As long as I can still have a ton of infected trailing me through the cities, I'm all for this. (But if this comes at a sacrifice of a higher zed count, nuh uh, no deal)
  25. Conrad_The_Comrade

Do not make DayZ SA Moddable.

While a lot of mods did ruin the mod (Wow the irony) for me, not all of them are quite so bad. You just have to take the time to find what you like, and join a server with that content (Or lack thereof). Their are official servers, so it isn't like we will be without an untouched server. Let people have options, as stated earlier no one is forcing you to play any of the mods.
