I'm sure that loads of dicks would be plastered on walls if the world goes to shit. Ever seen what's on walls in urban places? Dicks. Dicks everywhere. Anyway, this has been suggested a lot, but I still like it.

It would add many cool elements to the game, but you'd die if you didn't receive treatment immediately. But if you did it would be cool to deal with having one arm or something. (Clementine will remember that) But, no, it'll get banned in other countries with strict ratings. Unfortunately.

It's the fact that this is supposed to be the player's story. Not the character's story. Adding exp completely gets rid of that. -
Killing someone for no reason isn't being a hero. Murdering someone because of the way they look isn't being a hero. We're getting rid of bandit and hero skins anyway, right?

Sounds pretty cool, but doctors don't usually carry around epi-pens, and construction workers don't usually carry scrap metal. If the loot was a bit more real instead of...you know...not, this idea would be a 10/10 from me. Cops would carry pistols (maybe) and the corresponding mags, military would carry mags and be harder to take down with body shots, construction workers would be worse at hearing, firemen have a chance of carrying axes, etcetera. Yeah, that'd be cool. Being eaten by a zombie hurts, though, and they could have easily dropped all of those things when being eaten alive. So guns and axes and even mags on zombies that usually have guns should be really rare.

I think having a safety would be cool just for the sake of having a little extra realistic gun mechanics. I don't think it's anything that's really important, but it'd be cool. (Ctrl x2 never holstered my weapon for some reason. I never had to, but whatever.)

Integrate DayZ Forum avatars, clans, chatroom for Standalone

I dislike all of these. Except maybe the avatar one. That's okay by me, but the clans and chatroom things are going against the anti-game feel. You're supposed to feel alone when you travel alone. It removes immersion, which is a large part of this game. And clans should never be official. Gets rid of tension, and the whole "talking to clan over large distance" thing would be too beneficial for those in said clan. I prefer the radio idea. Where it has multiple channels, but they can be infiltrated by others who go to your channel with their radio. -

There is no side chat in the game. You're probably playing on private hives. -
There should be other things that make them do that. You can't tell whether someone's good or evil based on what they wear. A humanity system takes away from the anti-game experience. It does nothing but make the game less "who-to-trust"-y, and more Team Deathmatch-y.

I dislike leveling and heroes and bandits. I created a post where things like fixing cars and doing other medical stuff would be based on player skill and knowledge instead of character skill and knowledge. Apparently, it's been suggested many times, (which I wasn't aware of) but I still think that would be better than leveling. It gives you a "oh dude, I did it!" feeling instead of a "oh dude, my character did it." feeling. If you're catching my drift. The whole "dead character reanimates as a zombie" thing, plus rarer stuff would make death a lot more terrible as well. It's a good idea, but exp, invisible or not, shouldn't be in a game like this. -

No humanity system please. You're forcing players to be shot on site or not. Gets rid of equality, and gets rid of tension and stress.

I really like your idea. It's great. But I believe that a humanity system period would ruin the game. You're not supposed to know who to trust. Still, unique and cool idea. Maybe there's a way to fit it in the game? -
I disagree with your "few distractions" idea, but that awakening thing you were talking about seems pretty cool.

There should be multiple channels. To make it realistic. It should also be rarer than a hatchet. Pretty goddamn rare, actually. Not car rare, or even M4 rare. Just...uncommon.

Yeah, no cellphones. There's no electricity. Why would there be cellphones? If there were, they should work realistically. You can only call one person at a time. The contacts list should have some random numbers with random names in them. That'd be cool. Actually, if done correctly, this could be pretty cool. The text list could have some generated conversations with other phones in the server. You won't know who the phone belongs to, though. The phone can ring, attracting zombies and players. How would you charge them, though? I think a radio/walkie-talkie idea is fine. But phones opening up little stories of dead people would be pretty cool.

I disagree with 13 and 7. With base building, they shouldn't be official bases. They should be improvised. The game just should be able to tell if you're sheltered or not. Then you build something to accommodate your needs. There shouldn't be specific bases. A good example of this being done well is the ArmA II gamemode, Wasteland. Except things are more scarce and realistic to carry. Combine that with the ability to nail windows shut and stuff, and it'd be pretty cool. Edit: AND NO SPAWNING INSIDE OF THEM. -

No humanity system please. There is a name as face suggestion on the front page that will even this out. But the humanity thing is stupid. We're supposed to allow all players to play on an even level. Giving them skills and perks for being either a good or bad guy isn't doing that. You can't tell who's a good guy or bad guy in real life, can you?
