Did you update your Drivers...? Also, Rendering resolution must be at 100%, if it's higher than 100%, it will lag a lot. Also², disable everything on "Rendering..." Other than that... I don't know man.

So, I was playing on a Hardcore server beacuse I felt like doing some "RP Survivin'", you know, doing what my character would do, not go running butt naked around elektro and getting mad because I got KOS'd... But anyway, since there was no 3rd Person and Hardcore is kind of harder, I thought more mature players would be playing. And hell, I was wrong. My story starts at Kamyshovo, the least favorite city after Kamenka! Anyway, I started looting the place, got some pretty basic shit, a crowbar, I ate every bit of Food I got and made my character pretty healthy. But then for some reason things wouldn't go on my Inventory and I was afraid the server would restart, so I joined another Hardcore Server and went looting again because since NO ONE plays on Hardcore, there was plenty of loot. So I start running towards Elektro, but instead of taking the road, I walked in the forest till I got to the city, I knew I wouldn't find a soul there, but you never know! I run down the Sniper Hill to loot houses, I got a fireman's axe, a Mosin with ammo, a backpack... Man, I was geared up! Well, now that I had a powerful axe and a weapon, I could just kill everyone that tries to kill me! So instead of taking the stealthy way, I started walking a bit more in the road, I got to the Firestation... Nothing. The only place I needed to loot was the other Firestation, so I run there. While I was looting I hear footsteps behind me. It was a FULL END GEAR Player with a M4, camo... well... everything. I had my gun lowered, so even If I wanted to kill him, I couldn't in time... But he started going ape shit with his M4 for no reason and kills me. That guy must've been off his fucking face because he shot a whole magazine into my body. While I was just staring at my screen, trying to process the stupidity of that player, I reaslised something... If I went to the forums and started yelling "KOS IS BAD FUCK YOU ALL", people would throw shit at me... And if I continued to play like that, I would just get more angry and stop playing at all and say "fuck you" to the community/devs. So I got an idea! I won't play anymore! "what do you mean like forever whaaaaat?" No. I decided I'll only play when the game goes to at least Beta Stage... and MAYBE (really MAYBE) when they add cars and shit. So if you have the same problem as me, try doing that, try playing the Mod if you have it or just do something else while they fix the game. But if you don't want to wait but instead yell shit about the game everytime you die... well we can't be friends. "But why waiting will be a good thing?" Look, the main reason people KOS is because they are dicks bored, on DayZ ALPHA, all you can do is Spawn in, get loot, go north (for whatever reason) and... well... that's it. And doing PVP is really what's left, but when we go on Full Release, we'll have Cars, Cooking, Making basic bases. Of course there might still be a lot of dicks KOSing, but I think not as many as today. So, what do you guys thing? TL;DR:

I agree with you, but things like taking hostages is kind of buggy at the moment, so when they add more features to do all of this.

The reason I'm doing this is because people won't say the game is bad and shit and that they will never play again.

I'm still confused as how you don't see the difference in gameplay/graphics from the Mod to the Standalone... o.O Anyways, if you bought ARMA II and got the Mod thinking it would be the Standalone, you made a bad call...

As I just stated, I have 4 years of Steam Account, got 70+ Games, never hacked and I'm still level 7, and I don't even know how this Level System would work. Also, why not whitelist?

I see where you got this idea and I kind of dig it. But for now... I don't know man, Zombies are just annoying for me. Either they're invisible or they just walk and glitch through things. Maybe one day when we get a full release where zombies are "smarter" and the game is... well... "fixed", I think it would be a challenge. EDIT: And I still don't understand how the sight/hearing thing works on them now, they just seem to hear/see through walls on the other side of the town you're in.

They did this so people wouldn't make Balota/Cherno a giant blood bath. (Elektro isn't a big hot spot on DayZ anyways, even if it's one of the main cities, I never get to see a blood bath there like before.) When the game was released, you would always spawn in balota, so everyone would camp and/or farm guns, killing fresh spawns and not letting anyone get out. Honestly, I don't mind it. If you spawn somewhere near Berezino, walk to Berezino! You get a shit load of gear (Since no one goes there) and you can go to the North East Airfield to get guns. No offense, but you need to man up and search more, everyone got SO USED to spawn near big cities that they forgot how to look for loot instead of just farming. But I guess we'll see more and more frash spawns jumping off buildings to spawn in the same place because you can only spawn on the east coast. Oh well... EDIT: lol i got 69 posts lol

Ok, so I was in Elektro and saw a fully gear player standing next to a fresh spawn's body with his fists up. In that server I had 30-40 FPS max and rarely got any lag spikes. But when I start running towards the player to kill him with my axe, my FPS goes from 30 to 5.3 (I know the exact number through the power of MSI Afterburner) and my game almost crashes, I actually saw the FPS dropping to 1.2... So after one or two second, my game stops shitting on itself and my FPS goes back to 30. But for some reason I'm way ahead of him, almost on the other side of the road. He sees me and starts running with his M4 towards the school. I hide in a building and wait for him to come out... I hear a lot of gun shots, the M4 guy was probably fighting another guy with a SKS (maybe). I wait for a while, I see no one. Maybe they killed themselves.So I run inside the school and I hide inside one of them rooms, waiting for the guy(s) to come down. Suddendly, I hear footsteps next to me and I get hit by a melee weapon, (I know it was a melee because 1. No one could shoot me through the window because I was laying down and 2. because I heard no shots) I just hear a weapon swing and it hits me (Maybe a hacker or just hardcore Lag/Desync). I start running away and my FPS drops from 30 to 4 AGAIN, I just kept pressing W hoping I wouldn't get shot while I was lagging. When my FPS finally went back to 30, I was already dead. Is there anyway of fixing this or the Devs have to fix it?

I got gear back, but that really pissed me off my jimmies are slightly rustled

I do agree with you, and also: If you are shot in the chest, why would all of your items on your bottom pockets be ruined? They should work a bit more on that IMO
