I'd say, scratch the third-person view. Third person, does not make any sense at all in these type of games. It's silly. Since it's somewhat a simulation of a real zombie-apocalypse. Without It, the game would be even more realistic and harder, which is a good thing, because you would have to be on your guard all the time. :) And yes, I think third-person view in these kind of games are cheating. Because you have a huge advantage compared to those who plays in first-person. Being able to choose between the two, forces you to use third-person, simply because you have a better overview with it.

I'm sorry but you are wrong, I've been playing too much Counter-Strike through out my life (about 13 years) to know that VAC is FAR from flawless. But it certainly helps.

Euhm, there is no difference in shooting kids vs grown-ups. Well if they were alive, that's one thing, but now they are zombies and the kids would probably be even more dangerous than large zombies since they are harder to spot, etc. I'd say bring in the kids! It would make the game even scarier, and way more realistic.
