They have all that stuff done already, but they can't throw them in all at once. I think you have pretty much everything on your computer already, they just have to unlock it for you via patches. Just check your DayZ Addons map. Animals, Vehicles, Weapons, the data is there. :)

Apparently I was "opted for beta programs", I removed that and now I have 0.30.113925 again. :)

Well I never said the patch was rolling, only that something was weird and MABY it was changed from pending to rolling. You should READ posts before bashing other posts.. :)

Yeah, however, the pending patch is named: 0.30.113933, but in-game it says I have 0.30.113953. Me and my friend is rubber-banding like hell, server does not matter, unplayable really. Either the game broke over a night, or the pending patch is being implemented as we play.. :S Well I hope it comes soon, sucks being not able to play at all. =(

Heya, got a small, ooor pretty big problem actually. When I join, any server and run around for a while I get a HUGE rollback, then I can't move at all. The game do not crash, it's still working, trees moving etc etc. The only solution is to press ctrl+alt+delete and shut down the game from the task-manager. I should also say that I have good ping on the servers, and I don't notice a yellow/red link in the down right corner. Anyone else experienced this? How do you solve it? Cheers!

For this particular game yes, in other games, not that much of a difference. =)

Apparently DayZ make better use of an Intel-processor than an AMD one. I can't confirm that since I've only played DayZ on AMD rigs. But go for an Intel if you got the money for it, which it seems like you have. Go for: CPU: Intel, high end. GPU: Nvidida GTX770 or better, or AMD R9 280 or better. RAM: 8GB. Also go for one or two SSDs. I run the game at these frames per second: 35fps minimum and 45fps peak in citys like Cherno, it tend to stay around 40fps. Just outside Cherno I get 40-50fps. 50-100+fps in wilderness, depending on angle of the camera. with this rig: CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T @ 4.0GHz, 6 Cores. GPU: Gainward GTX570, 1280MB VRAM. Normal clocks. RAM: 8GB, Normal clocks. HDD: Mechanical, 7200RPM at 1920x1200px resolution.

Me and my friends haven't heard any difference at all with the suppressor on/off.

There is also a thing called eye-measure, ofc it's not as accurate as calculating, but before he started talking my guess was at 350m, turns out my guess was pretty much spot on. Great video! Sniping is really fun! :)

Decided to play DayZ with the soundtrack of S.T.A.L.K.E.R! Shit hit the fan just as I entered the game. Was on my way up to the shipwreck, on my way I spot a group of five people, three in the front and two a little behind. Decided to follow them and check what they are up to. Turns out they ware bandits! Two of them (the snipers) went to the fire-station outside Elektro, to look out for the three others. Heard multiple gunshots in Elektro meanwhile I was looking at the snipers. Went up on the ladder behind them, when I got up, they had climbed down, no mercy for these two! Looted the two snipers and moved up on the hill, since I still heard gunshots from inside Elektro. Multiple fresh-spawns on the ground! And here's the bandits! I decided to move on, even to they continued shooting more people. 1vs3 does not give me that much chance of surviving.

Is the music added afterwards? Kinda sounds like something from S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Oh and you should increase the bit-rate of the video next time, 1080p makes no difference if the bit-rate is shit! Exciting video nonetheless! :D You have my beans! So, was strolling around down south at the airfield checking fur zum lewts. Suddenly I heard a faint explosion to my left, I was like the heck was that? Decided to check it out. As I moved closer to where I heard the explosion from, I heard more explosions (like 5 of them). My first thought was that some hacker had spawned in a tank or something. This is what I got to see! Anyone else seen this? Common bug? Maby it's Rocket celebrating the new year!? Edit* I just realized, this should be in the gallery! :D

The game does not matter. If it's a shooter and have a multiplayer-mode, 1st person is the best way to keep the game balanced. 3rd person just give a faaaar to great advantage. Just look at the video the guy posted and you will understand.

Great job with the patch! Finally I found my magnum! :) And yes, First-Person is the way to go, yes! 3rd person is just dumb! The game does not matter. If you're in a house, people can stand outside and tilt the camera to look through the windows and check the whole room, while you can't see a shit what's going on on the outside.

Exit the game and steam will download it for you automaticly, the servers also need to install the patches, yes.
