I'm sure any public email he might have will have been spammed to death. Rocket usually posts on the DayZ redit (I know nothing about Redit so I have no link there). Gonna PM a Mod here and see if they can get you in contact with someone on the Dev Team.

I'd like to see this, as well as more items actually showing up on your person when in your inventory. Lantern looped through your belt, clipped to a jacket, or hanging off your pack (depending on where you have it) A flashlight sticking out of your pocket, butt of a handgun visible. Say I find a V mask, can't don't want to wear it under my helmet, so I put it in my pants inventory, I'll have a V mask strapped to a pantsleg or something, have it in my jacket it'll be strapped to my arm. Rocket said a long time ago he would want things like that in.

Basicly as said already, from what the first few responders reaction was it almost sounded like they thought the Dev Team approached you about adding your sights to the game. I wanted to get clarification on that. I don't know Rocket or any BIS staff emails off hand (I'm sure they're probably somewhere on this very forum, but not really worth hunting down ATM). You have some good looking sights (If I buy a Mosin I'll look you up to see if you ship to Hawaii) I just thought it was somewhat suspicious that someone would ask you to post your product here (where most people who do 'suggestions' will often just post pictures of what they want) I'd also like to ask if you have a website? *EDIT* and like an idiot I see the URL on the pictures after I hit post... Agreed.

Did you get contacted by the Devs (Rocket and BIS) or someone from the modding community? While it'd be cool if the Devs contacted you for permission, I don't think they would have said to just post pictures of your work on here (they rarely use the Forums as their primary anymore). If it was someone wanting to mod the game, it's a bit too early for that to happen, modding support won't be in a for a while, and you can't legitly edit game files yet. That's for Standalone at least, and I don't think there's a mosin in the mod(s). Still would be cool to have something more than Soviet surplus as attachments.

They've confirmed fridges (and quite a bit of what you suggested in other posts) and possibly cabinets/container 'furniture. After they get the 'prototype' done it shouldn't be too hard for them to turn different models into containers.

You stay online for at least 30 seconds after you disconnect/crash, so a zombie or player could have killed you. You could have also logged onto a Hardcore server when you were playing on a regular server, or vise versa. Rejoin the server you were playing on and see if you get your stuff back, otherwise there's no way to get your stuff back.

Sorry to say you are pretty much SOL on the Key. Since it was stolen they won't unban it, and pretty sure they wont give you a new one either. Not to sound like a dick but you might have more time to work/save up for that house...also your posted in the wrong subforum. *EDIT* IF you really want to play the mod again, there's steps you can do to remove the key from your account and purchase a new one on Steam or some other such service. Best bet would be to wait till it's on sale though.

Which is why I only use it for night looting and night zombie killing. In real life people use the headlamps to see directly in front of them when they walk at night (usually outdoors in rougher terrain) or to look at what they're working on up close. Would be nice if we could adjust the headlamp more (You can a little by not having a flashlight equipped and having your weapon lowered, but still that only like 6-7 meters ahead if that)

They were not released, they were Cracked/Hacked. They don't release the files in an attempt to keep less scrupulous people from saying they're downloading them for a server, and then just studying the files to look for vulnerabilities to build better hacks. We might get the server files when private hives become legally available, we might not until modding and the like is supported.

Might want to snip that last little part off of your OS specs...I think it was said that Crossfire/SLI is not utilized by DayZ/Arma (at least not yet), you've already got it so it won't matter much unless/until they add it in. Maybe more memory might be in order, but far as I can tell the Arma games utilize the CPU more than anything else.

As said, when in 'free look' you just move your head around, not your hands. I do believe that the headlamp works with free look however. Haven't tested it recently but it was at least the last time I tried it. I quite often use both a flashlight and headlamp at the same time when looting at night, covers a bit more area (head lamp seams to cover the ground in front of you and the flashlight directly what you point at it).

Chenarus was made with real life satellite data of the Czech Republic. If you google maps Ústí nad Labem you'll see. The coastline of Chenarus is actually the river in real life, the towns don't quite coincide with each other but the terrain does. I would disagree that the city mentioned is the equivalent of Cherno, as it would span from beyond Kameneka to where Chenro is, to a bit north of Zeleno, and actually be across the 'river' as well. And yeah, it's a bit late to redo the map completely. There was mention of wanting to do a 'Western' Map, but that would take a while even if they started working on it right now.

IF you piss me off enough to make me kill you, and I actually kill you (usually freshspawns wanting what I have and ignoring the 'stay the fuck back' warnings) I remove your pants, put them next to your body, and if you still have a flashlight (and it's night) I turn it on and put it down next to your body so it's shining right on you.

The grip is probably missing because it's gonna be swappable with others, like the M4. Might even get different stocks (folding, none, skeleton, standard, ect). Heh, I'm kinda curious what would happen if they imported the fake AS50 into Arma3. Did they send over any Thompsons with Lend Lease to the Russians? Also pretty sure they wouldn't have let any Axis soldiers keep their war souvenirs, much less a lead firehose like the Thompson. Also while it's based loosely on the Czech Republic, it is it's own country with it's own history and lore. I mean I'd LOVE to have a Thompson, either a M1928 or M1, hell I'd even take a civilian semi auto only version.

Yes, people can and have arleady looked at the PBOs, I don't know how but they can. So much so that the AS50 has already been confirmed as a Hoax, if you open up the file it's just 3d text spelling out Trollololo. The MP5K is confirmed to be in, they showed screenshots of it already and a few have seen the file. They might use it as the base model to add in the Full size MP5 and other varriants, but for now were getting the K.

Well I didn't know at the time, but they set their ovens too low temp wise or the conveyors are too high a speed. Sure the surface crust is a light golden brown (not quite golden brown and delicious) but the bottom is almost raw dough white. Crazy bread has to be slathered in this oil that's called 'butter' (pretty sure I might have skin cancer on my hands from that shit) after it's been cooked, otherwise it too looks like barely cooked. Yeah as a Pizza it's alright, if I want pizza and don't want to go more than 2 valleys over I'll grab a hot and ready and ignore that sickly white undercrust.

Meh, you're allowed to do like 1 bump per day anyway, so you're about overdue. To make this not just a shameless bump: It would make more sense for Balota to be the civil airfield, it's located very close to civilian centers (Cherno and even Balota itself), it's got nearby 'commuter' service, and it's not really 'big enough' to have been a military post. The runway itself looks more overgrown/poorly taken care of than either NW or NE, more suited to an airfield that services crop dusters or other light aircraft as opposed to part of a 'Jump School' (which I think is what both NW and NE are suppose to have started as lore wise). Even if all they did was remove the barracks and what not and put in civilian versions of everything (hangers that don't spawn military loot, a non camo ATC, etc) They wouldn't even really need a 'terminal', in fact they could really just retexture the existing models and do minor tweaks inside (Paint job mostly, make it look like a military based turned over to civilians redo the brig to look more like an office and turn the cell into a storage room) and remove the military stuff from the loot tables and put in more civilian loot.

Because we live in an age where we get participation rewards just because you were on the field and were in uniform. We get an achievement for watching the cut scene that bridges two levels, rather than 'hey I get to advance'. In my day the Winners went to Dominoes, sat inside to eat and went to Dave's Ice cream afterwards, the losers sat in the parking lot of Little Caesars while coach went inside to get 2 pizzas while her husband stops at 711 to pick up a bucket of generic Neapolitan ice cream that's soup by the time it gets there.

Fair chance it was someone wallglitching, though you would have more than likely heard gunshots. As others said it could be desync, where the server thinks you're 2 stories up in the air randomly, so it makes you fall to the ground. I've had it happen with me before in the Brig on the bases, but this was before leg breaking so I just died. At first I thought (and could still have been) a sniper that was out of audio distance.

Make them climb a ladder at gunpoint. That should work.
