no no in our nature i wanted to say... for example. have some of you ever been in the forest when it was raining, or there was light breeze? The noises you get to here are sometimes freakin' scary..

what if you can create stashes in your beard!!?
-
that is an awesome idea and it also bears the possibility for building up a base. How a about producing your own gas out of that oil. Very cool idea!
-
my idea would be: yes to implementation of stashes and create a stash depending on, where you are: forest --> foliage and twigs building a small pile open grass land --> dirt, mud and grass building a small pile ... This all in a way that you can see them, by looking thoroughly, but not to easy when just rushing through an area. My idea would be a slow weathering effect, so that this stashes eventually a) reveal clearly visible your loot or b )get destroyed and along with them your loot disappears. can build stashes only when a shovel is available higher chance, that loot won't get destroyed/lost, but will be more visible when stash is destroyed by use of tarps, plastic bags to wrap it in.

well guess what...why do we have such things as probabilites and stochastic calculus? Pretty damn many things in our world can be pretty damn accurately described by them! This is no invention of gaming industry. Our world happens to function that way, therefore it is in my opinion absolutely okay the way it is. What would Mr. Bernoulli or Mr. Laplace say to that?! -
hey...that is exactly a problem...what comes after that? hope there is massively to do to get us entertained :)

which leads me to...specialized/unique loot
-
well i had that idea of a set of skills.... :D
-
HAHA...that was my thought!

One big issue, although not shared by everyone, that drives me into this topic is things like explained in this thread: http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/124272-is-dayz-100-pvp-on-the-long-term/ a more friendly PVP and more PVE experience respectively. -
really? you want to layout an el. circuit and solder it ingame. o c'mon...
-
ppl are too rarely in the forest these days...

since when do game developers have more power than their publisher? no really i don't have any idea about that stuff!

nothing compared to, what a proper labeled "crimean's finest" could look like.. -
now back to the real purpose of the topic: that would also fascinate me A real and "lively" harbor with many small fishing cutters and a an abandoned pier (like in Brighton). Would be nice to see one of that smaller villages becoming some sort of resort with some hotels, beach, the pier e.g. in Kamyshovo.

hey also a good idea, which leads us again to dun dun duuuuunnnnn: ...now you can't deny...you like my suggestions! :P

I could imagine some sort of bunker near the shore or the swamp, which became partially flooded. So the military started, in a hasty attempt to get rid of many infected bodies, to pile them up down that bunker... If you want to get in there, you'll have to eventually swim through that infested soup granting you a 90% chance of getting at least 2 seperate diseases/infections...

of course i also share the idea, like in reality you need many people, e.g. for running and maintaining a power plant. Obviously it will be another aspect for team/social players. But you can do something equivalent, on a smaller scale, also for the lonesome survivors. What comes into my mind... special clothing as a reward for example...or unique items, like a bag full of ruble. What you do with it, it doesnt matter, maybe leave a note on a table and create a quest by yourself... i think this has some potential. It is something the devs can throw out into the game, but it is up to us, what we do with it. edit: following text is now in initial post: -
it would be the best and most reasonable thing, of course, to stream videos of those closed beta-tests. It is obvious that no bugs or oddities will stay undetected under our Argus eyes. Therefore we all can help to improve the game in such an early stage... :P ...but tbh why not!?
