+1 my thoughts were recently why not simply hire a trainee (maybe on service contract) with some english skills. A short weekly list with things they try/want/look forward to work on and/or if they encounter some problems, have debugging ongoing etc. ppl will permanently be fed with small info-packages and ppl will be more/less happy AND dev-blogs would be much more appreciated i guess... edit: i know Dean was trying to argue reasonably and tried not to pack too much emotions into his statement, anyway you can read (not only) between the lines that he is annoyed...but they could do something against this, after all, "positive" annoyance ;).. -

rocket calm down... i acknowledge the slowly growing criticism and do understand it in some way, but i can live with it simply ;). of course he ows nothing to no one but this time he wants to sell a game and it is all about marketing-strategies and proper communication. and yes he can say "i don't give a sh.." but i don't know if bohemia then would like that... i understand both sides: the "bitterly unhappy" going-to-be-costumer and the "stressed-out-burden-of-a-whole game-genre-on-his-shoulders" game developer -

Why make instanced or underground bases?

well unfortunately dean and his team consider (instanced) bases... now what? better we try to constructively discuss that topic. And when you say "go play xxx" you basically say this in deans face. +1. you do realize we are no animals..therefore we would always try to re-establish a somewhat functioning society -->bases, safe zones, havens... -

well bumps..mods don't like them to see....you could try to disguise your bumps a little bit more ;) my answer to all of this: more props everywhere! - crushed to death ppl between car wrecks - ppl hanging from ceilings - a dead couple starved to death holding hands in a bedroom - a doghouse with the chained remains of a dog in the middle of the street etc.. scenes and sceneries where you simply halt for awhile...
