stop it please! really, please! edit: simply give no answer at all. in fact none is showing such behaviour. so either you want to provoke or you think your opinion is superior to other's. when i see such a sentence, i immediately just skip and ignore it..sorry -
my only question remains: dean knew the zeds are completely bugged and basically "broken" at the moment, why would he show this at E3...? on purpose (to kill the hype) or basically a "disaster beyond all expectations"? this could be a masterous strategy to take pressure from the devs or as said before a total melt-down. Dean, you a genius?

i guess they are tired because of the massive most of the time arid work the had to do so far. me thinks if the first few major features slowly turn out to be of use (medical system, crafting, vehicles) they will most certainly get confidence-boosts. edit: confidence is also influenced by feedback btw -

never ever ;)... this would imply a concession to the "mainstream" which surely was/would be never the goal (integrity from BIS and Dean provided). the mod got popular because it delivered to a niche market, it would be a disastrous move to desert that idea and market (gaming history has shown us so far) -
unfortunately yes... this was the reason they wanted to do everything "from scratch" with the SA. hopefully they can do this

a full-launch then....so they hope they've successfully destroyed the hype around the game :P -
haha..i count on stormtrooper helmets! reality is: they will make loot scarce, so you won't find these helmets everywhere and all the time. this is one selected feature they show off in all these alpha-builds, no need to make assumptions and speculations about that fact (right now)

def. NO! 100% sure i've watched or read an E3 interview where he clearly says: both will be implemented and it will be then up to server-admins -
After seeing the new zeds and the "jump-attacks": Is this a "special" attack from the more "healthier" zeds and if yes, will every zed depending on the "state of decay" (hehe) have its special attack? How many stages were even planned for the zeds? Will they degenerate over time or maybe due to player-inflicted damage?

my opinion: 1) make 3rd person something you'll have to earn! OR 2) do it like in the inventory:you can only see zeds/animals/vehicles/gamers in 3rd person, which are in the line of sight -

hey guys again! http://dayzmod.com/f...sa-ultimate-qa/ post relevant questions! be critical but constructive! edit: i've posted some (from mine ;)) also on reddit...we already got some answers (due to many E3 vids and insights etc.), even if they are not necessarily in the thread already (maybe i can do this later some time) -

edit: got ninja'd really really bad by fraggle....honestly i was not even aware you would suggest something like this :o! now how about...wait for it... SKILLS!!! :P no really: dean said several times (ok i guess once or twice ;)) that he could think of a soft approach like in TES games, where you gain something by doing that specific task/action over and over again. how about you do the "chicken-swing" animation. and by using the gun several times and you live long enough you "gain" these new arma3 anims.... personally i would love that and similar ideas. so things like these call for subtle set of mini-skills/perks ;) ...and now...let the rage unfold! -

at best they said probably...even in the last couple vids he said maybe in a few weeks or month! everything else was pure speculation and interpretation by forum-users and communities. Barrett you kill me here! edit: they focused on a bulletproof MMO server-game-architecture! this is their foundation! if this isn't stable everything else will collapse. -

in terms of zed-bugs it apparently seems as if there were no significant steps made further right at the moment.. -

i mean hysteric in terms of the actual status of the game. ppl had soo high expectations and this is just ridiculous for a pre-alpha version.. really. i too had/have these expectations but i listened to dean from time to time and it came to my mind that these expectations are far too high... so i can see it all a little bit more relaxed i'm sorry. what do you want to hear?! what do you really honestly expect or demand from a game in its pre-alpha stage? christmas date: dayz mod polished up --> delayed: WOW we have the chance to make a new engine to build basically an MMO architecture since then only vague release-date feedback. just wait for the release-version in idk 9 months, if you can't "handle" the drawbacks of an alpha or beta game. this is a real and honest suggestion. -

...so if something doesn't work out well in the first place, it must have low priority?! f** logic right? btw: dean mentioned at E3 that zeds ARE high priority at the moment especially because of the fact that they are glitchy and buggy..
