  2. everything you do double, triple, quadruple the times you need to do it. this would even prevent griefing (edit: and even grinding if it would matter at some point) too some extent. want to built a barbed wire fence, you need much time and are exposed, due to the noise you make and the time it takes. eating should take much much more time. if you got shot you seriously must retreat as soon as possible to survive at all....
  3. subtle but hardcore? add a mechanic where you would need to check your body for wounds to discover infections early enough before they get out of control. like wounds on your feet or discover a yet undiscovered bullet wound you got from an intense fire fight. etc...

    just add harvestable crops/vegies/fruits of all sorts my all-time favorites: poppy fields, sunflower-fields, apple trees, cherry trees, potatoes..etc..

    booze does not warm you up, it does quite the opposite. it only makes you feel that way. that's math! http://dsc.discovery.com/tv-shows/mythbusters/mythbusters-database/alcohol-warms-up.htm that explains why it is good to drink loads of beer in the summertime...

    as a christian i am completely for adding alcohol usage. alcohol would be one of the last luxury goods man could get to draw him/her out from the daily misery

    a must! and i am going to add this question: Are basements possible with the current state of the engine? And if yes, why didn't we see any up to date? attics and basements could add so much authenticity.

    hiding seems to be fun, good idea. i think in terms of creating horror amnesia is a reference game. if dayz could draw inspiration from it, that would be neat and could only help.

    hopefully Dean is going to follow this idea and develops it further. the more freedom we can have in the game the more possibilities and the more fun of course it will be (also long-term-wise)
