thank good you did this update, ppl's expectations are and were beyond good and evil. dean i think you are a man that prioritizes a good quality above statements and "promises" (yeah i know ;) ). Are there not slight thoughts towards a "softer" release like a private alpha release with 3-4 servers? or wouldn't this change anything? -

this calls for a thread my friend. honestly! i love this idea of movement in "extreme" environments. it would be just authentic to not have always full control over your movements...however how would this look in 3rd person :/ ? again 3rd person ruins the day :P -
don't get me wrong...but i am pretty sure i 've seen pics prior where one could see such hats. pretty sure

that wasn't even my intention. but the video coincidentally contains some features i really would love or at least like to see in the game at some point. tedious, time consuming and dangerous reloadingbecause i really want that "time" would play a much much greater role. if time would have a certain impact on various actions and situations you would immediately create a new tactical layer to your whole gameplay. (http://www.reddit.com/r/DayZBulletin/comments/1pa4yf/its_about_time/) troublesome moving through diffcult terraini don't mean that you should stumble with every 5th step. but how about running through a field whilst being exposed to extreme weather conditions, sprinting through a forest, running through difficult terrain, sprinting in a pitch black night? add at least chances -> would create tension if balanced accordingly tripping^ as above dust blowing up on impact of projectilespurely for atmosphere purposes chance of losing one's weapon when hitbecause why not? again just playing with chances and dependencies and proper balancing nice gloveshas anyone ever thought about them when speaking about clothes and personalisation? slight slight camera wobbling effect while sprintingjust a personal preference (and really only whilst sprinting), i do however realize that it wouldn't reflect the real sight of a person. again just for atmosphere purposes

Nether has shown me (at least at the moment; by watching videos) that a huge city isn't really all that interesting and may seem to have a quite monotonous look after some time...

that, as far as i can remember - besides the obvious provocation of an outcry - was the one main reason. i see they have pretty huge problems when it comes to skeletons and animations. that's why i don't really believe that we'll see a thriving and breeding wildlife in chernarus+.
